Mr President,We know that the Problem with Nigeria didn't start Today,We understand the problem began right on the day Lugard amalgamated and named the country, We know that successive administrations over the years have contributed to the problems in the country. And That exactly is why we sent the Illustrious Otuoke Son back to his Village, That's why we placed Providence on Your shoulder and asked You to be Nigeria's Ronald Reagan, please do us the justice of not reminding us of what Jonathan and his cronies did to our Polity instead tell us how we can go about cleaning the Aegean stables like Hercules did, People minds are weak and Low, Queues are back on our stations , Poverty is the 2nd largest ethnic group in Nigeria, hike in Dollar , depleted foreign reserve, Economy is crumbling ,Hike in prices of goods and services in summary being a Nigerian and living in Nigeria is a Hard task . MR.president Some of us studied Politics and we understand it took chairman MAO almost 40 Years to reform China and lift 400 Million out of poverty, we know the process to becoming a great nation is not an easy process like the Maxim 'Rome wasn't built in a day' , But we need short term solutions to our current issues, in the words of My Good classmate and my 'Egbon' In my class ' We Understand Cake is expensive and might take time to bake but in the process give us Bread so we can satisfy our Hunger or what's the essence of waiting for cake when we might have died of hunger' Mr,President it is a Noble thing to curb Corruption, it is about one of the most basic problem bedevilling this great nation, But instead of looking for the Goats in Jonathan's Maxim why not take away the Yam , because history has always thought us that Goat eats Yam ,if the Yams are not well taken care of , a New Goat will emerge and eat the Yams thus the beginning of another problem that begs for solution . MR, President some of us Understand Your Job is about the hardest in the world, Having taken up a Polity that was built to fail from the beginning, But please do remember The world doesn't care about the storms and problems that confront us but the end result . Mr,President we don't want miracles, we don't want you to put food on our tables, we don't want you to pay us , we don't want you to be a Super-Man, all we want provide is a conducive environment , an environment every Nigerian will be proud of, Provide basic amenities Like Power ,Just so You know sir, Somalia a war ravaged country and a failed state provides uninterrupted Power supply and the citizens cried out when there was blackout for a day, LOL I have not had Power for 3 days , We're tired of being our own government, we provide virtually everything on our own,Mr President this should not be,We just want to get to office on time,we want to have peace of Mind , Mr President two weeks ago the People of Agatu were brutally massacred by fulani herdsmen,Till today they still wonder what their crime to Nigeria was . MY PResident, I understand the impact of foreign policy and International politics but travelling to other countries in a bid to seek investors and make friends without putting our country in order would only amount to what Professors have termed Beautiful Abroad ,Ugly Inside . On a conclusive note, MR,President we elected You to help make this country great again not to remind us of our predicament and almost 10 months after electing You I must say our expectations have not been met and if it continues this way, the cane we used for Jonathan is on the roof . Nigeria must Be Great |

God bless Ben Murray bruce, if only the elites are like him, the labour market won't be saturated. APC/PDP aside this act is commendable. He's better than 80% of the ruling class who stash their currencies in foreign accounts |
Which way forward Nigeria? Stories upon stories.... Someone tell the ruling Party they can't win by Propaganda and still rule with Propaganda. |
Jazakhumulahi khairan. Alihamdulilahi Robhili alamin , May Allah(SWT)accept our fast as an act of ibadah, May he forgive our transgressions and ease the sufferings of muslims across the Globe |

It is visible to the Blind, audible to the deaf that Omisore lost the election in the most Honest ways, so why disturb the Judiciary?? In a saner clime, he would have been in Jail not contesting for the office of Governor |
The Audio was enough proof to substantiate that the election was Rigged ? Go To court Apc !The End |

The feeling and euphoria that swept across the country on the first of October 1960 was infectious and extraordinary, although we had no doubt where we were going, we were going to be the leaders of our country, and Freedom was what mattered!! The nationalist leaders who helped gain independence for our dear nation, were hailed as heroes and swept into office with huge votes, Criticising them became sacrilegious and, very quickly, the freedom and development promised by this nationalist transformed into a melodramatic nightmare. This nationalist leaders turned into what Frantz fanon labelled as (Black skin, white mask) they became nothing but swiss bank liberators, kleptocrats and political looters, After independence true freedom never came to Nigeria, Nor did development. For many Nigerians, the "paradise" promised them turned out to be a starvation diet, life to most nigerian then was like flower without dew, it became colourless and dry, Public servants helped themselves freely to the nations wealth, election were ridiculously rigged, the subsequent national census was outrageously stage-managed , it didn't take long before Disaffection and alienation set in within the military, this disaffection led to the first military coup in Nigeria in 1966, however ,The first generation of coup leaders in the 1960s were professional soldiers who brooked zero tolerance for corruption, inefficiency, government waste, and mismanagement. They threw out the elite bazongas (raiders of the public treasury), cleaned up the government house, instilled discipline in the civil service, and returned to their barracks. The second generation of military rulers, who assumed control in the 1970s, emerge from the dregs, They were more corrupt, incompetent, and brutal than the civilian administrations they replaced. They ruined the country's economy one after another with brutal efficiency and looted Nigerians watched helplessly as they experienced yet another betrayal. This second batch of "military dickheads,". came from the bottom of the pit and left wanton destruction and carnage in their wake, Since the second coming of the military lords, things have gone from good to bad and bad to worse in the most progressive manner, By the beginning of the 1990s, it was clear something had gone terribly wrong in Nigeria, the country was in a state of anomy, Economies had collapsed. Poverty, in both absolute and relative terms, had increased Malnutrition was rife. In addition, hearts of men were failing, the ordinary people were heart broken, the country was politically unyielding, economically self-centred and administratively fraudulent also censorship, persecution, detention, arbitrary seizures of property, corruption, capital flight, and tyranny continuously plagued the country, Infrastructure had decayed and crumbled in much of Africa. Roads, schools, and telecommunications systems were in shambles. Empty bookstore shelves greeted visitors to university campuses. Many school buildings showed obvious signs of decay and disintegration. Most buildings had not even seen a coat of paint since the britain departed. The quality of education had deteriorated sharply. Nigeria 6-3-3-4 school system, was in ruins. Students could not get books. Nor could professors do research( when education is disregarded in a country, the country will soon become a home of fools) 54 years after Independence, our dear nigeria is now a country of wounded cruelly citizens, I can feel the tears and pains of my neighbours, the nation is now full of contradictions, it is now a country where the impossible becomes possible, inconsistent becomes consistent, bad becomes good, it is a nation where those who stole the blind man walking stick in the morning and were given un complimentary names, have become decision makers, 54 years after, food is short, education is poor, Mind is depressed, body is low our dear country has been driven to the threshold of chasm , what a tragic reality, I tell you brothers times are indeed hard, Our nation is Seriously sick.. However despite this ills, Time has now come for all of us as a people united in hope for a better tomorrow to avoid the disgust of the past and advance our nationhood on the principles of equality, liberty and rule of law , we all need every inspiration arising from self-healing , self regeneration and self-pride--I Believe there's still a light at the end of the tunnel, the future and dreams of our fore fathers shall and will never be in vain, I believe in the Nigerian dream HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY KOSOKO OYEYEMI YEKINI |
