lilprinze: I pity Africa when ww3 start we would just be spectators. There is no Africans country that has a single nuclear weapon, and good weapons for war apart from South Africa which is still formerly possessing nuclear weapon.
On the contrary, Africa would be the least affected in a nuclear war.

While the Western World and Russia would be suffering from a full meltdown, Africa would at worst suffer from some 'minor' after-effects.

That invariably means most of the survivors could actually be from Africa.

BadBoy25: I don't know how many times i've said this, but The United states would annihilate Russia in a war. The United states actually needs war.

The United States has control of the pacific and atlantic and shares the arctic ocean with Russia . The United states has military bases in Greenland and Alaska surrounding Russia. bases in Japan,South Korea,Poland and everywhere in the world .
I feel sorry for Iran ,China and Russia combined . The United state has as far superior intelligence and thats what matters .

3 million russian civilians died in world war 2
only 5 american civilians died by mistake when a california family camping in a forest mistakenly touched a japanese hot air balloon bomb.

Russia doesn't have numerous cities like the United states . it is much more easier to focus on target and annihilate everything . the United states is too sparse and varied for a single target. the enemy simply wont reach american mainland .
American soldiers are adapted to all types of climate, tropical rainforest, snow storm, heatwave etc.
it is much more difficult to invade and occupy the United states because most citizens have licensed Guns and wont allowed that to happen even without an army .
You made sense a little, but please have this in mind: Never, ever predict the outcome of a very large and complex war. Especially a Nuclear World War.

Have it in mind that USA is very strong but when it comes to a Free-for-All MAD they shall never escape unscatched.

World War comes with a lot of secretly stunning strategies, gambits and manouvres most of which you or I may never be able to predict.

Russia is the most strongest and most formidable foe that the USA can fight at this moment and if (maybe) the USA eventually wins, I can confidently assure you that it would be a Pyrrhic Victory.

Despite all the epistle and half-truths you just wrote above I have just one reply:

This too shall pass

What will be will be, why kill ourselves with worry?

Politics › Re: No Evidence Boko Haram Abducted 100 Men In Borno by Krak(m): 10:30pm On Aug 22, 2014
Very lame piece of reporting. The real people that can confirm whether or not there was a kidnap are not the authourities but the local people in the town and surrounding villages.

And the newspaper did not even interview any single one. Their own concept of investigative journalism is clearly different.

Mynd44: How is the vegetation of south american and that of south west Africa different? Are you trying to tell me that anacondas don't exist in this part of the world?
Pls always do a little research before you comment on issues. What @50Calibre said is the fact and I have nothing to add.

That snake is a Python.

Anacondas are restricted to the Americas alone.

Thats a very well-known fact. Forget about similarity of climate or whatever. A fact is a fact.

Pls do not create a Storm in a Teacup over here, the weather here is calm enough and we are enjoying it.

Thanks.
Politics › Re: Boko Haram Militants Overrun Prestigious Mobile Police Training College In Gwoza by Krak(m): 9:14pm On Aug 21, 2014
Northern Nigeria's riot police training academy has been overrun by Boko Haram Islamist militants, a witness in Borno state has told the BBC.

Shots were heard after the militants arrived in three armoured vehicles and on dozens of motorcycles, he said.

A police spokesman confirmed the attack while a senior security source said it had not been possible to communicate with the academy since Wednesday.

The Liman Kara college is near Gwoza town, seized by Boko Haram this month.

Thousands have been killed across north-eastern Nigeria since Boko Haram launched its violent campaign for an Islamic state in 2009.

The militants have stepped up their attacks after being pushed out of their bases in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, and have been targeting towns and villages in deadly raids.

In recent weeks, the militants have been moving from their rural camps and taking over substantial towns.

'Residents fled'

The militants have been in control of Gwoza, which had a population of about 50,000, since the beginning of August.

They apparently retreated about 100km (62 miles) to Gwoza after losing control of Damboa - both large towns in Borno state.

But attempts by the security forces to retake Gwoza have failed - and a group of about 40 soldiers is now refusing to fight, saying they are too poorly equipped to take on the heavily armed insurgents.

The resident of Liman Kara, which is about 15km from Gwoza, told the BBC Hausa service that police recruits were seen running from the college after the attack began at dawn on Wednesday.

He said he was unable to confirm if there were casualties as he had joined other residents and fled the town to nearby hills.

A security official who did not want to be named told the BBC that the militants had "entered the school" but said he could not confirm they were in control of the college as it had not been possible to contact it.

A similar attack on the college was repelled by officers undergoing training there two weeks ago.

BBC Hausa's Mahmud Lalo says the Liman Kara academy is one of only two riot police training colleges in Nigeria and the militants are likely to find weapons there.

According to the Nigerian newspaper Sahara Reporters, several hundred militants were involved in the raid on the college, which there were reportedly more than 290 police trainees at the time.

In April, Boko Haram caused global outrage by abducting more than 200 girls from a boarding school in the remote town of Chibok in Borno state.

The US, UK, France, China and Israel have all offered assistance in helping track them down, but their whereabouts remains a mystery and the militants' attacks have increased.

Mekateka: One of the health attendants that attended to the Liberian Patrick Sawyer, but survived the ravages of the disease, allegedly caused commotion in her church last Sunday.
According to reports, the young woman (name withheld) had stepped out to testify to the goodness of God in her life.
When it was her turn to share her testimony with the congregation, she sang and thanked God for helping her survive the ailment and testing negative to Ebola. Everyone allegedly joined in clapping and thanking God on her behalf.

However, when it was time for her to return the microphone to the pastor to call the next person,
THISDAY reports thus:
“The Pastor said she should handover the
microphone to the next person, but the next
person shifted back and refused to collect it. The Ebola survivor tried to hand the microphone over to other testifiers but they also declined, claiming that they would testify later. The sister had to put the microphone on the floor. Before she could
turn back to return to her seat, almost everyone around her in the church had jumped outside to escape contracting the disease.”

And some brainwashed people would still have faith in that pastor when infact there is serious fear in his own heart.

If I were to be a member of that Church I will walk out, collect the microphone and take over the preaching for that day.

Everybody knows about Ebola but most of us are ignorant about how it spreads.
