PLUTO; the mysterious planet has left scientists and the world at large guessing and imaging about its features with little or no facts. This dilemma has been on for several years, until today.

Scientists through a satellite embarked on a 3billion mile journey to the planet which has been on for 9years, and today facts are rolling in....

Few things we've learnt so far...

1. Its not as small as we were taught in high school;
The dwarf planet has got a massive diameter of about 1,473miles. This equals about 22,000 football fields placed back to back.

2. Pluto has strong gas;
NASA scientists have confirmed that they found Nitrogen sipping from the planets atmosphere. The gas showed up 4 days earlier than scientists had predicted, which means the planet is losing its atmosphere really fast.

3. Pluto has a heart;
Among the geographical features observed on pluto's surface are a 'whale' - a dark band along the plutoid's equator, complete with a tail-like attachment: and a bright heart to keep everyone feeling warm and cozy inside.
Its too soon to know what either shape represents, but we're holding out hope for a colony of super-affectionate alien and sea creatures.

4. Pluto's moons;
This guy, with its small size and all has an amazing number of 5moons (sorry earth;(). The largest one, Charon (don't call her Sharon tho) is filled with craters. One of these craters is longer and deeper than our own grand canyon.

Scientists still searching and discovering more facts, stay chilled and anticipate more.
