Politics › Re: Falling Crude Oil Price and Nigeria's N97/Litre Fuel Price by KriTic24A: 4:14am On Dec 16, 2014 |
ono: In the US and UK, gas (what we call fuel here) prices falls/rises almost with the price per barrel of crude. We are an oil producing country for heavens sake! When the prices were high, we, the citizens of this country did not enjoy a dime of all the wealth realised from the sales of crude oil. And now, are we not going to still benefit from the drop in the price per barrel of oil??
Please, how much is petrol selling for in your area? That's true, courtesy of whoever occupies Aso Rock. Besides. the current occupier said 'he does not give a damn', how about that? Yet, his blind folowers will never post a complain on this. |

PAINGAIN: op u r right, I have seen a lot of things being commisioned by gej but yet to c one being done in d east. Six years in power and we r still crying for 2nd niger bridge. Jonathan has failed us really but we will b voting him because we have hope that he will use this last four years to do right by us. We have no other option but to vote gej bcus we know dat no hausa or yoruba man will give d igbos anything but more misery. Past presidents have shown dat d yorubas or d hausas do not have our interests at heart. For now gej is our only option. We must not forget that all second-timers are never performers. They are mostly after their pockets. We are just unfortunate to have been saddled with all of them. They are hardly different from each other. |

I have said it before, and will still be saying it: A policeman is your friend when he can 'piece' something out of you. When you mistakenly gets to the other side of the police, you experience how 'GOOD' a friend your police can be.
Your life does not matter to them especially when you are diasavantaged, not to talk when in the dark. So many horrifying instances abound. Are they not the sane police who point a gun to, and kill Okada man/Conductors for just N50 in the daylight? You can deduce how valuable lives are to those people.
The day our rogue senators wakes up and sponsor a bill legalizing arm-bearring in Nigeria, both the police and armed robbers will all behave. |

evanscheck: The President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Gary Enwo-Igariwey, yesterday in Lagos, said an Igbo man cannot be President of Nigeria because of lack of unity in leadership roles. According to him, Igbo are hardworking, resilient and law abiding, but fall short of leadership role because of lack of recognition of leadership ethics and discipline. Enwo-Igariwey, who was the guest speaker at the public presentation of the Igbo centenary book, 100 Years of Amalgamation: Igbo, What Hope in Nigeria, by a Lagos-based journalist, Peter Anosike, said every Igbo wants to be leader at the same time. According to him “if we can solve this problem by trying to learn from our mistakes and believe that there can only be one leader at a time, then we can succeed as a people.” He said Igbo had huge investments all over the country and that with all the respect and recognition they had earned, they still lacked unity over leadership tussles, as could be seen even in town union meetings. He said: “It does not have to be the strongest or the richest. Anyone can be supported to succeed. If we unite, people will be afraid of us.” Chairman of the occasion, Chief Nwabueze Obi, Executi-ve Director, Cabotage, Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, said: “We are nomadic. Over 90 percent of our investments are outside Igboland. “If you go anywhere and do not see an Igbo man, then it is not habitable. If we can channel these gifts to have a united front, we can succeed.” He appealed to all Igbo to be submissive to authority. Work hard, leave emotions and sentiments behind. It's a matter of Time and circumstance. |

Jokay07: the time being wasted to draw up these theses or far-fetched self-imposed fallacy will be enough to project solution to our problems here in Nigeria rather attaching the problems with the country that does't give a f*ck about us Better tell that man to park wella. Blaming everything on someone or somebody.. Why do we not blame America for our inability to refine oil for ourselves since 1993. When our president surrounds himself with known criminals, we should blame America?. When the president chose to run his government along tribal lines, America picks the blame When monies voted for security ends up in thieves of successive government’s pocket, to the extent that today, 9ja soldiers are now in dread of BH, we must blame America. The state of Nigeria’s roads today was caused by America. The fact that ruling party cannot produce regular light, 16years after must be blamed also on America?. Even, if you can’t get food to eat in your house the blame is for America. You people better wake up and face the realities of what you drive yourselves into. A bad worker always blame his tools. |

Rather, go take a bath and clean out the dirt that has so clogged you that you don't recognize your betters.
