Good that there is an investigation now.
It confirms that there was actually an incidence of abduction irrespective of the conflicting figures.

Military records, (going by this press release) shows that at least one soldier died while in ambush for the insurgents.
Yet, some clannish agents still claim there was no abduction (their assertion then was no pictures, no parents) inspite of the international outrage?

Whether only one person was kidnapped or killed, a life had been lost or in hostage.
Must we always wait till we are personally touched before we can be gingered into doing what is needful?

Why are we this hard-hearted?
The military should as well looked critically into frequent reports on dereliction of duty and mutiny.

PoliticsRe: Worshipper Dies After Drinking Pastor’s Concoction by KriTic24A:
lekanolas:
Pandemonium broke out on Sunday at Ozoro, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State following the alleged sudden death of one Evi Samson in the hands of the Presiding Minister of the God Solution Ministry, Ozoro.

The cleric, Pastor Jonathan Ojigbo, allegedly prepared a black concoction for the victim to drink.

The concoction, it was gathered, reacted negatively in the victim’s stomach. Evi was said to have developed swollen head and eyes in night, a few hours after drinking the concoction and died.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Celetina Kalu, who confirmed the incident, said that one Samson Uwhemw of Erovie Quarters, Ozoro, raced to the police station in the locality to report the case.

According to Kalu, the pastor, who doubles as the registrar of a Magistrates’ Court in the state, had engaged the victim in a prayer session before the dosage.

She said: “The man (Samson) said the pastor gave his son a black concoction to drink, following which his son developed swollen head and eyes and died in pains.

“On the receipt of the report, detectives swung into action and arrested the said Pastor Jonathan Ojigbo. The suspect claimed that what he gave the deceased was a bottle of coke.” [b]She listed the items recovered, after searching the pastor’s house, to include some charms from his shrine behind the church.

PoliticsRe: South Africa Seizes Another $5.7m Nigeria’s Arms Deal by KriTic24A: 6:37pm On Oct 06, 2014
TheIndustrialist:
South African authorities have seized
another US$5.7 million arms money
from Nigeria, just three weeks after the
$9.3 million cash transported by two
Nigerians and an Israeli for arms
purchase, South Africa-based City
Express reported Monday.
.
As with the first deal, South Africa’s
Asset Forfeiture Unit of the National
Prosecuting Authority seized the $5.7
million (about N952 million) for
allegedly being the proceeds of illegal
transactions, the paper said.
The news came more than two weeks
after two Nigerians and an Israeli
national were arrested in South Africa
after they attempted to smuggle US$9.3
million apparently meant for buying
arms for the Nigerian intelligence
service.
.
The men landed at Lanseria
International Airport, Johannesburg, on
September 5 in a private jet from Abuja
with the money stashed in three
suitcases.
At the time, the South Africa Revenue
Service, SARS, said customs officers
became suspicious when the
passengers’ luggage were unloaded and
put through the scanners.
.
The National Prosecuting Authority,
NPA, in South Africa said there was an
invoice for helicopters and armaments
intended to be used in Nigeria.
Two black plastic suitcases, filled with
90 blocks each containing US$100,000
in notes, with combination locks, were
seized, as well as two pieces of hand
luggage also containing US currency,
according to City Press.
The Israeli national, Eyal Mesika, had
the combination to open the locks.
Under South African laws, a person
entering or leaving the country is
expected to carry cash not exceeding
US$2,300, or the equivalent in foreign
currency notes.
.

The South African newspaper, City
Press, said documents in its possession
show that the first consignment was
personally signed off by the National
Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, who
issued the end-user certificate for the
transaction.
An entire “shopping list” was supplied
with the certificate, which included
everything from helicopters to
unmanned aircraft, rockets and
ammunition, it said.
The latest transaction, according to the
paper, was between Cerberus Risk
Solutions, an arms broker in Cape
Town, and Societe D’Equipments
Internationaux, said to be a Nigerian
company based in Abuja.
The paper said the deal fell apart after
Cerberus which had earlier received
from Nigeria R60 million (N1.02 billion)
in its account at Standard Bank, tried to
repay the money as it it could not
resolve its registration formalities with
the South African authorities.
“Cerberus was previously registered as
a broker with the National Conventional
Arms Control Committee (NCACC), but
the registration expired in May this
year,” City Press said.
“The marketing and contracting permits
also expired at the same time. The
company has since applied for re-
registration, but the application lay in
the NCACC’s mailbox for more than two
months.

“Sources told Rapport that Cerberus
apparently tried to pay the money back
to the Nigerian company, after which
the bank became suspicious,” the paper
reported.
The paper added that while the NPA’s
Asset Forfeiture Unit subsequently
obtained a court order in the South
Gauteng High Court to seize the money,
the NPA spokesperson Nathi Mncube,
said there were no indications the two
transactions were related.
“However, both are now the subject of a
criminal investigation and all possible
information and connections are being
investigated,” Mr. Mncube was quoted
as saying.

This is one of the reasons i have said Nigeria does not worth the faith you have in it.
Someone put his life on the line to be a soldier, he was trained soundly to become a pilot.
After his training, was attached to a jet bomber which was on a mission for the country but got into trouble after almost a successful operation, then got missing along the line.
Instead for the high command who detailed him on the mision to empathise and mobilised for his search, they denied his existence.
What message are they passing across to you and others if you happens to be a soldier in the war front?

There is a saying in the East that : when an albino dies and is being burried, fellow albinos takes a cue how he too will be buried when he dies.
Why won't be mutiny all over?
Yet we are just fighting insurgents o
What will happen if Nigeria is to fight a major war comprising the whole army of any offending country?
Nigeria does not worth dying for.

If you want to know more about the CAN president,go readup the Bishop Benny Hinn saga.

It is only the Nig Govt that would abandon its own Central Bank, and pay $9.3 million in cash for a foreign "legitimate transaction"!

So asides being a pastor and an owner of a private University, he is also into the business of jet leasing. Soon he'll be producing cements.

This man is way too controversial for a religious leader. The same man that claimed BH targeted only Christians during the Chibok abduction.

Oritsejafor admits ownership of jet FG lays claim to the money. This is where I would love the National assembly to come in.

I thought he acquired Jet for spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, so he also lease it to make more profit. Building an earthly empire.
Bro, you are very spot-on
Some of us actually alleged that Jona was the person who gave out the jet in question back then, but some church people came out to tell us they contributed the money to buy him a birth-day gift of a plane for the purpose of evangelizing.
What do we have now?
The same plane now leased out for BUSINESS? ARMED RUNNING BUSINESS for that matter?

I have said it repeatedly that Churches are BUSINESS ENTITIES. But what i did not envisage was running arm-business.
Why are the church members who claimed to contribute to buy the plane for envagelism not asking questions now?
Were they not fooled into believing their 'Man of Gold' when he enumerates his flight itineries, and how many countries of the world he must preached in, how he got delayed number of times and outrightly got disapointed or have his flight cancel most times?

Is it not the same plane that now have enough time for arm-purchasing-business?

size38: Governor Amaechi should relax while we answer Mbu on his behalf. Mbu is so unprofessional as a police officer. Mbu cannot thrive as a police officer in any sane society. It is only countries like Nigeria where the likes of Mbu can think they are so professional. I challenge Mbu to travel out and see how modern police operates. Mbu's pains is his inability to remove Governor Amaechi as directed by his pay master in Abuja and the persistent protest by Governor Amaechi which led to his removal from Rivers state. Shame on Mbu.
Even from the way the statements were worded, we know whom the 'small boy' is here. Is Mbu not a member of the Nigerian Police any longer?
Any objectively thinking mind apart from those who have been blinded by their clannish and tribal inclination will know who really is the small boy here.
What story does he want to tell us about the Nigeria police other than framing people up, brutalizing and killing them and come round to call that professionalism? A drunkard police force ready to kill the helpless ones for money in the dark only to frame him up as an armed robber says he is professional?
Was it part of his professionalism when he got to Abuja shortly before the chibok crisis when all over the world, there were protests for immediate action to taken by the President to rescue the girl in good time, when he single-handedly (PROFESSIONALLY) banned any protest?
Where again on earth was the protest to free the girls got banned?
If any of his relative's or friends daughter was among the kidnapped, or say his own daughter, would his reaction remain the same?
Whose interest was he serving by that action when Nigerian's Constitution EXPRESSLY grant us the right to protest?
Why does the IGP reverse the professional pronoucement by Mbu about three days later?

Were it not for our timidity, people like Mbu shouldn't remained in the force in the first place. He got promoted because he did very well in the assignment given him, that is, try to embarass and and humiliate the sitting Governor.
That he was brought to Abuja where his master is lends credence to that fact.

He was rewarded professionally just as Ribadu got rewarded to the rank of DIG before he was...... you all know what happened.
Better let a sleeping dog lies....
