nsiazu:You dey bro. That's just the truth. |
Blame-Trading Just Gathering Momentum... But you people were enjoying it while it last if not, what was your reactions when insults was going forth and back in the air? Your silence means you were in agreement. |
My brother, leave them alone. They don't have time for decent argument with a view to learning from it. Anybody whose view does not agree with their warped mind gets insulted. Were they not there when their HERO appoints an 80 years old to head NPA? But to them GMB is senile at 72? Let them continue to bother themselves with somebody's 'massive cleavage'; 'must see picture' on NairaLand. As you lay your bed, so you lie on it. |
I remember it was said that PDP is a party of strange bed-fellows. So what do you expect as outcome? |
I have said it before and will still be saying it. A day of reconning will come somehow no matter how late. We all does not necessarily has to be a witness to it. It is fast approaching.. Always remember tomorrow in all your doings. You don't own all the time. The time of the thieves and greedy rogues in 9ja appear to be coming to an end afterall. Avoid getting greedy at all levels in all deallings in life.. |
UnknownT:The robbers were just cashing-in on the anormaly of the system. If there had been no check point anywhere in Nigeria before the advent of kindnapping, do you think kidnappers will be bold enough to start manning a road block. They saw a leak/weakness in the system and they play on it. |
Sile12:The good OLD days.... Minds were not much restless... Can our minds ever be relatively peaceful again? |
adrusa:Was wondering myself.... I didn't hear what these people say when Jona government paid 1.2tn. to his thieffing friends in the name of subsidy, maybe i was offline then. Everyone now sets an agenda for GMB who did not even have an idea what is left in the treasury. Why didn't they talk about billions of dollars paid Tompolo & co to enable him protect the illegal bunkerers rather than protecting the pipeline? Whether we like it or not, at a particular time in our life not necessarily in the know to anyone of us in the public, the truth will catch up with hypocrytes who individually got involved. They want all those things achieved under him yet they said he is an illiterate? |
Everything that is good is possible to happens to us only if we have the drive. Because we have the money. Most people in politics in 9ja are just there to make more money. Have you not seen your governors and senators flying around in choppers and private jets? They will rather prefer to own those things than to make it public here. Example is education: All the so-called leaders destroyed public education to enable them float their own schools. So, how can something as good as in the picture happens here when everyone is for himself? It is a pity. We all shout one Nigeria yet (if i'm not wrong) no one belives in Nigeria. So, if you don't believe in a cause, you don't invest in it. |
huseinhad:Please modify the bolded... |
Procuring their coffins before they died is an indication that the government of Indonesia will not listen to entreaties of any nation no matter how powerful that nation is. That is not diplomatic enuogh |
Confirmed?? |
I heard the news myself on Chanels TV, but for now, there is no picture while we await confirmation. |
SLIDEwaxie: I like the last sentence of your comment bro, No Harm In Trying. Buhari might be an illiterate to some people but at this time in our history, we have to make do with the option. We have seen the best of our PHD people, now lets experiment with illiterates that have the drive. |
Most of them got arrested as late as 1998 through 2000s?? That's long long trial o... |
Apart from the fact that life that is supposed to be precious and sacred was involved, they deserve what comes to them. Most of us here condemmed the Indonesian authority but we forggot to mention the fact that most of these people were driven to it by share greed and lustful desire for wealth. Are there not hundreds of thousands of you out there that are in a humiliating employment inspite of your education, yet keep going year-in-year-out and you still stay away from crime? How about our youths who got killed in that immigration scam? They are the real ones my hearts goes out to. Because in trying to get a decent job or a kind of hustling, they died unjustly. How about the ones who risked their lives everyday hawking in traffic? These are the ones to be pitied. These particular set of Nigerians know what is in it for them if they get caught. So they went into it with eyes widely opened. |
Super1Star:Just read my comments with an open mind. I don't have anything against Fayose other than that he should behave according to the ethics of the office he occupies. If Fayose is the best man Ekiti can push forward as their leader, good for them. But the main issue here is the soldiers that refused to remember they were professionals on the job but allowed themselves to be used by any government in power. Don't forget that it was not untill people start shouting that the idea was dropped. Remember the matter went to court? |
We know it will come to this. Remember Ekiti election was supervised by a general? Your favourite actions today might be your major undoing tomorrow. Did i hear you say Karma? |
Human being hardly learn from others mistake. Otherwise if that actually happened to a leader in Africa, why do we still have a GBAGBO? I'm sure there are still other Gbagbos in this continent. Just look at how a great leader was disgraced in death!! It's unfortunate. But he saw it coming... Lesson: Don't overstay your welcome. |
MCDanselm:After you have been made to pay for the frienship..... ![]() |
Be it true or false, Oga Jona has said he will not go down alone. So expect more powerful people to fall with him in weeks to come especially those who took money but refused to use the money to induce someone. |
No need to raise eyebrow on it now. The man already had a retinue of wives and just adding one to them may not really matter to him..... The company is not a new one to him. |
Attention seeker!! |
[quote author=KingTom post=32938043]Ezenwo Nyesom Wike is one of the most uncouth politicians I have ever seen, but he remains a good grassroots politician. The people of Rivers have made their choice, although in some parts largely due to sentiment. Rivers will either regret voting a thug into power or feel so proud for electing a man loved by his people. A choice like that of Ekiti....... |
Dear All, Please note that i'm floating a 'shave' joint shortly. Kindly visit my shop to keep me sailling. Banking on your patronage... ![]() Or what do you think ? |
san316:No! it's not a waste of time. If they are sure of what they are fighting for, then let them go ahead and fight to the finish. Fayose had his time terorrising them back then because he had the backing of Abuja. Don't forget these same lawmaker were prevented from gaining access to the house for their legitimate mandate when Fayose in collaboration with Abuja used the police to scatter them. If you were one of them, will you let it lie low? That is why i always adviced people in authority that tomorrow is never forever. There is another tomorrow after tomorrow. So what works for you today might turn round to work against you tomorrow. Fayose does not have reason to afraid had he done what was right from the start. He was enjoying the services provided by the army then. But now, things are kind of changing... Remember Segun Oni spent about 3 three years illegally through the same brigandage before he was cut to size by the courts. |
ahaz:I like your reasoning bro. Sentiments apart, some people have eyes yet they will not see. People who are highly principled and greatly driven by passion to act and perform are being shortlisted by reason of their past records but before long, some losers will turn it to tribal tread. Me-no-dey-suprise though. For me, i don't want to know where anybody comes from so long the little coins i earn can improve my life. So i agree with you that we give them a chance if the information is true. |
onatisi:Hi Dude, you won my star prize. I was expecting a reasonable comment on that particular aspect of the incident, but yours was the one that really hit it. While most people rush for FTC and Front Page, they left the tread without any reasonable comment. Why on earth would a man with his senses allowed a double-standard woman sleep a night further in his house after he had discovered to have fathered only one out of ''HIS'' three children if he does not have a death wish. To me, the lady is a kind-hearted someone otherwise the man should have been cooling-it-down in a motuary by now. Talk about inflicting injury, guys every human being on earth have that tendency. We are all just struggling to overcome our emotions. A lot of men KILLED their wives for the same reason. We all have ALUU 4 inclinations. A wife beater is a potential wife killer. Example is what is happening in SA. Its all about emotions. It happened to a lady today. We would soon read about the worst a man does to his wife. It's a matter of time. |
That is why i don't take religion seriously. See, it does't matter whether the person being killed is my christian/or muslim brother at the time of ethno/religious madness, the target must be hit. Or how does one explain the lack of SACREDNESS of human life that evaporates in us just at the slightests offense? The simple fact is that religion has failed humanity just as politics failed miserably. It appears that there is no one as his brothers keeper any longer. What would the reaction had been were all these had happens to Africans in Europe or America? |
Riped and over-riped yet no 'wine tapper'........... Guys please help!!! |
Could be a missing genealogical sister. DNA tests to the rescue please.... |
