@Menacity, I really don't think the HR accepts CV's on that email. I guess there done with recruiting and they've tons of resumes coming in, so they've decided to close the email. These things happens, I worked with Kaymu NIG, and I guess when they're done with the recruits, they close down the email that's why its not delivering.

Your analysis is wrong.

The mailbox is full, that's why mails are returning undelivered.

However, I have called the attention of the appropriate people to it and very soon it would be sorted out.

I'll inform you guys when the mail issue is resolved.

It is well ooo.

Yes it does. Unless you want to work in the store as a clerk or general assistant, then you can come as you are.

Please when you send in your application to recruitmentNG@shoprite.co.za, make sure that you include a cover letter in the body of the mail.

Also, let your mail carry a title like 'APPLICATION FOR ADMIN MANAGER' (for example)

I have given a list of available job positions above, subject to your proximity to the store, qualification and necessary work experience.

Best of luck

So kind of u replying to people's questions, thanks.
Forwarded my cv to d mail address given here, it didn't deliver. I wud try again though.
Do I need to indicate the position I m applying for? I wud want to put in for controller? Wat's d functions of the controllers? Thanks

The job of a Controller in Shoprite is more of a supervisory role for all those Cashiers that receive payment for goods purchased.

S/he has the responsibility of solving any issues that the cashier may have on the till machine.

That's the much I can say

If you know your way till Owo then you have no problem at all.

Owo - Okenne - Lokoja - Abuja is a straight journey. You can't miss your way.

If you're in doubt, ask from people at Owo.

Pls don't stop for anything in Okenne o. The stories I've been hearing about that place is not palatable.

Safe trip!

Nice reply bro. Please can you tell us more about the recruitment process? Like do they carry out the standard Test and then interview? Or they just invite qualified candidates for interview straight?

Yea, just the normal test based on the position you're applying for. Then an oral interview...

I'm sure any sound and confident candidate can scale through

Why these shoprite don't like pH city?they should enter now.

A lot of things are put into consideration before any Shoprite store is opened anywhere e.g. security, host community etc.

However, I'm sure that a store would soon be opened at PH, though it's not in 2016 plan

I don't know the departments there, do u mean administrative officer? I was thinking customer care officer is more appropriate. Enlighten me please.

For your qualification, I meant Admin Manager. Each branch of Shoprite usually have two of such (Front Admin and Back Admin). I'm kinda lazy to explain the difference between them but they perform different functions.

We don't really have CC roles in the stores.

For those that kept hammering on N65k, pls note that what you get is a function of your job role. That amount is for a certain level of staff (Clerks, Controllers etc)

General Assistants (SSCE) earns about N45k

I'm tempted to tell you what I earn but I'm not the company's spokesperson. A fellow colleague could be a Nairalander (hope you understand)

Thanks for the explanation. There is actually a shoprite branch close to my residence but work experience as relates to working in a mega shopping mall like shoprite is zero. My background is mass communication and I can serve in customers care unit/public relations unit. What's their educational requirements and is having a masters of any advantage? Abeg talk to me. Thanks.

Your work experience is not limited to previously working in a shopping mall or not.

For a Communicator like you, I'd rather suggest that you put in for Admin position. Your Masters degree puts you in a vantage position over others with lesser qualifications.

I believe that you have a great chance of being considered for employment in Shoprite

Does that email address takes care of employment in all their outlets across Nigeria and what's the probability of getting employed in an old/existing outlet? Thank u.

That email address is the pool from where all candidates get called for interviews, subject to available job positions.

Please note that two key parameters used by Shoprite in recruiting are the candidate's proximity (location) to the particular branch and work experience relevant to the job position.

The probability of getting employed in an existing store is 50/50. The company usually post internal advert on a job to enable interested staff compete for such. Invariably, if there's no one fit for the role internally, then the company looks outside for prospective candidates.

Let me know if you require any further information.

Enjoy

send your Resume/CV to recruitmentng@shoprite.co.za
They don't accept CV/Resume in their vault anymore everything is now online.
don't want to drop my no here cos a lot of people will kill me with mesages, calls and beg for help.
But dat email enough .

I presently work with Shoprite.

The above quoted comment is the best way of getting employed by the company.

However, please note that the recruitment process is a little bit long so you have to be patient. I got my employment letter about 3 months after the interview.

Best of luck....

From Oshodi, take a bus to Obalende, ask the people around where to get bike or tricycle to Dolphin Estate. Tell the bikeman or tricyclist the particular street you're going.

Ikorodu is closer to Ijebu Ode, I drive from Ijebu Ode straight to Ikorodu under 40mins

maybe it was a plan 4 her to get u out of your friend life. Who told him? the wife and who started the conversation, her.
did she stop or still continue for days? i think it was a set up,if she really wanted 2 cheat, she would have sleep with u.

She just called me up one day, after almost two months that I've stopped communicating with her, that her matrimonial home is on fire.

When I asked her what happened, she told me that her 4/5 year old son sent the dick pix to her husband and the man told her that if she doesn't tell him who sent the pix to her then their marriage is over, she now told him that it was from me.

Honestly I don't know what to make of the issue. This was the woman who told me that I should delete our chat conversations, I wondered how her son could be able to send such pix to her husband.

The whole thing just looked crazy to me. I'm feeling so bad that I could lose a friend over something like this.

I messed up big time!
