Good day everyone.
On filling the visa form, I have a few questions to clarify.
First is on #6 on the form that requests for "intended place of stay in Germany".
I applied for school dorm hostel accommodation. Not gotten yet. I also have a friend doing Masters in my intended school. He is willing to welcome me upon arrival anyway. So can I fill in his details or just fill in the location of my campus and postal code??

Second question is on #13 on the application form, " means of subsistence"
I hope to us SL as BA money still far fetched. But for the sake of the interview I will claim to fund after interview. My question is, am I to fill in SL or BA as means of financial support when I get to Germany or my present means of subsistence which is Salary earner??

Third is on #9, "if applicable, intended employment". My question is since I intend doing student job when I must have settled, should I fill " student job" or leave it blank since my main aim is studies? Thanks!

They requested for only his passport of which they stamped after the process.

Same case with mine. Only my dad's pix was attached and stamped at d federal high court located at Asaba.

I went to the emirates office on wednesday. it's address is 7-12 Churchgate St, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Description of how to get there : from wherever you are in Lagos, take a bus to Obalende, drop at the last bustop then enter another bus going to Lekki/Ajah and drop at law school. From law school bustop, you turn and face the road as if you're going back, walk back a little and follow the curve to the left, keep walking ahead to the first turning on the LEFT, after turning to the left, you will still walk a little and turn again to the right (FIRST TURNING ON THE RIGHT). That's where you'll find Emirates, Etihad, Lufthansa, etc. There are 2 tall buildings there, it's in the second tall building and it's on the fourth floor

The promo code is real and it's for students. The way it works is you'll have to go to their office, tell them you're a student and the date you're planning to travel. they need proof of either student visa or admission letter. they will give you a promotional code. Then you go back on your own and book your ticket online by yourself, there's a space to input the promo code when booking online (NOTE:they will not help you do that. it's something you can do on your phone immediately). After booking the ticket, you go back to their office to pay.

I cannot give a range of the price of the ticket because the price is dependent on the available number of seats on the day you intend to travel but rest assured, whatever price your ticket is, you'll get a 15% discount as a student. The promo lasts till December

A word of advice (My one kobo): Incase you're planning to go there, I'll advice you to go with the intention of buying the ticket that very day because It's stressful and expensive to get there. After collecting the promo code, you can book the ticket immediately on your phone, pay and collect your discounted ticket (you can use your atm card to pay, and if you can't use it, there's an atm machine in the building where you can withdraw money from). Also do not forget to take your student visa or admission letter along

There is no link with such conditions and yes they normal consider the household of the relative in Germany. Example a family of 2 should earn from 2500euros per month, the amount go up according number of people in the family.

Also they check if the person is not getting Sozialleistungen(Hartz 4) or Arbeitlosgeld from the government

The precise requirements ur relative can get it from Ausländeramt in her city

Not a must. Go back, only u know the school u want to apply to. READ their application procedure. After READING it, u will KNOW if they specify uniassist, or direct application ( either by mail through courier services or online). Coming to this forum does not stop u from reading the application requirements of schools. Try and help yourself small.

I finally got Appointment date today. My interview will be on 17th august, enrollment deadline 11th October.
The last mail on Appointment booking i sent early this morning was as brief as possible in this format

Note I used my name to rename all docs. Accordingly (for example. XXXX AAA International Passport, XXXX AAA Admission Letter.. Just in that order)

I sent the the mail by 7am on the dot today, I got the first reply from a staff by 8: 12am today that my doc has to be clearer and more eligible. Actually I used PDF online editing site to reduce the size of my admission letter and international passport earlier. This affected the quality and I dint notice it cos I was using phone for all these. I had to work on the originals again and had the best possible graphic quality and resent by 11am. I got a reply from same staff again that I should wait patiently for my date. 4hours later I got a date. Thanks to everyone that assisted in one way or the other.

Bro take a chill pill. Take note that if you are booking an appointment for the student Visa and you don't use the right format as stated on their website, your mail will continually be ignored. There is nothing wrong with your enrollment deadline its still very okay. Embassy dates as of latest is still mid-August. Maybe you are not doing it right. You use this format

Also try to send the mail at tge early hour of the day like 7:30am No need to use a diff address again I sent Mail like 3 times before I could get a single reply because I was not doing the right thing. Try that I believe it will work

Goodday everyone. Gurus here i need ur advice Still on booking of interview appointment, I have booked twice now with my main Email address and Ogun state address. No reply from embassy. Enrollment deadline is 11th Oct. The last booking was early morning Tuesday, same time I wrote my school for extension of deadline.
That's the mail I just got in reply to the extension of enrollment deadline. Now the question is, how can I use this reply to convince embassy as to consider giving me date for interview . I plan to book again with abj address and different mail address from the first Email I used to apply ( na this email too school dey use communicate with me).......

A quick advice to all those seeking interview appointment.
Currently the available dates is already August, if your enrollment deadline is September be rest assured that the embassy won't reply you in any way or manner, they will completely ignore your mail. It is clear stated that there should be about 6-8 weeks gap for visa application processing, so you see why it's virtually impossible.
So do this, write to your school seeking for enrollment extension or ask about the option of enrollment by proxy, after doing either of the above, attach the enrollment extension you got or your details showing you have been enrolled by proxy and you do have a student ID number. With this they will honor your request...All the best!

I sent them a simple appointment booking mail ( not letter) since 1st June, and a second one by 3am yesterday. I attached my international passport, admission letter and a copy of "make the transfer" fintiba block account doc sent to me upon confirmation (I hope this is the right doc to submitted). Up till now, I have been checking my mail and no reply yet. Meanwhile enrollment starts 27th August and ends 11th October. Can I resend another mail in case I don't get the reply today or will that affect me in any way in terms of getting a date??
