How did you do it?

Used a VPN to change my IP.
Logged in to en.miui.com, tapped unlock and tendered my application, stating why I needed my bootloader unlocked.
5mins later I got the permission.

But there's something else.
At the application page, can I use another number to receive the confirmation SMS other than the registered login in number?

Reason for asking this is because, I have not been able to receive verification codes from Xiaomi on my MTN line. Called MTN customer service plenty times to see if they can make it possible from their end...but nothing till today.
