Blue mail is having issues with Exchange mails and its servers presently. I had to delete it recently. It couldn't update my office mails even after uninstalling and reinstalling.

Yes you're right, Ma'am.
It was a bug from their last two updates or so.
I have an older apk I think it's working just fine.

The easy solution is, do a manual set up and for the server under the settings, you would have to input " outlook.office365.com" and for the username if any it has to be your office email Addy again. Works for me 100%

Or he can simply download "BLUE MAIL" from Google Play store.

my Fingerprint self no dey work at times on nitrogen os n liquid remix, cardinal was the most stable I've used so far, but he prioritises stability over features and I'm not willing to use xposed

Stability is out of this world on Cardinal.
I bet MIUI would be much better if someone like Satish should get employed by Xiaomi for development purposes.

I was forced to move back to RR Nougat Brateloslavia's Build.
There's no time and strength to try every single one of them ROMs.
But I'm still patiently waiting for an update on Cardinal.

No don't get confused.

The reviewer said prior to his OTA update, the gaming performance was bad. But the update fixed it. He also said he hopes upcoming update will fix the ram issue.

But in case you didn't know, you can turn off miui optimization and some little tweaks in developer setting to get better ram management. Google this to get more info. That was what Gptech was trying to say.

You can also ask those who have used the phone for more than weeks to get a first-hand info about any query you have. One other thing is that Apps and battery optimizations take time to settle after each OTA update. I once updated more phone, did a factory reset and had amazing SOT for the first few weeks, only for severe battery draining to appear after about a month usage.

Don't worry wink when you get your phone, you go experience these things.

Lol @ "when you get your phone"

Hw do u mean? U mean d seller to give me d chinese rom version of d fone or juz d rom file?

I'm planin to flash d chinese dev rom via edl mode, unlock d bootldr n install twrp so i'll be ready for custom roms.

If i go for china dev rom, will installin google play add google services or wat else do i install?

Dude slow down.
Before you start thinking about flashing everything 'flash-able', make sure there is continuous development for your said device. The Redmi 5+ is still a very late comer and as such, development is still in the early stages.
Check XDA for development on the Redmi 5+.
I will advice you'd be patient till the device gets better recognition.

In an unrelated topic ,why do people say crab instead of crap? Can't wrap my head around it seriously.

Just like when people use "Am" instead of "I'm".

Make I remind us say na we still dey enjoy pass with the stuff Xiaomi dey table give us.
Phones / Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by kstan(m): 8:10pm On Jan 26, 2018
I still dey wonder why people are so trilled to hear about someone's SOT...
Most of our brothers and sisters here want their Xiaomi devices to have 72 hours SOT in 1 circle by extension.

But why?

Na transformer una wan Pa Lei Jun dey install for the phones him dey sell give us?

Make una fear God biko.

5hours SOT is very normal for every phone with Li ion battery.

Most flagship devices noh dey even get SOT pass 5hours.

Every Xiaomi device can comfortably last for a day usage and there's no way in this our obodo 9ja we noh fit charge our device at least for some minutes in a day.

Yeah read on the official thread on Xda and telegram group that Redwolf 3.0.24 is not updating OTA.
More reason why I held back from flashing custom recovery.
I have root with stock recovery for now.

Always make sure you have

1. A Global Stable/Global Developer FastBoot ROM

2. A Global Stable/Global Developer Full Recovery ROM

All downloaded and kept safe somewhere else apart from your phone storage or SD card... You can save them in your PC.

Reason is to always find it very easy to revert back to normalcy once anything goes wrong.

REDWOLF 3.0 23 is the most stable with full support for OTA. I don't think I'm even going to update to any new version.

Any one please

With TWRP you'll have to download the full Recovery ROM to update your device.

But to update through OTA, you will have to flash REDWOLF RECOVERY on your device. REDWOLF is more advanced with better options than TWRP.
Be sure to download REDWOLF 3.0.23... that's the most stable version for now.
