Paulpaulpaul: True love do bury first love, but @op, if you still have it strong for that lady, there is no crime in stealing just don't get caught. And this is suppose to be a mature advice abi? Abeg @ OP, that you guys didn't end up together simply means it wasn't meant to be. Try to quit daydreaming and focus on the hardwork of making your present relationship beautiful. 4 Likes |

![cry](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/cry.gif) How sad!!! Threads like this just goes to show how really backward as a nation we still are. We are quick to cast stones on the white man as being racists. However we are just as guilty with our ethnic biases. One Nigeria indeed! May GOD help us. 2 Likes |

babyosisi:
My ex fiancé is now married to two women That could have been me with a nwunye di ( co wife) The wife is not barren o She also has a boy but the husband ,a Christian married a second wife When we parted ways( even though I left), I didn't know the reason why When I heard he was now a polygamist I said wow God was protecting me from that You never know what God is protecting you from
That is my attitude to everything You lose a job, something better is on the way A relationship dies.something more spectacular is in the wings. Use this time to build yourself spiritually and emotionally and take whatever lessons you learned from that other relationship including any mistakes you made, learn from it and apply the lessons to the next one.

^^^ @ pak.My dear not holding briefs for babyosisi, but did you read the post where she talked about the ex who now has two wives?
There is no hard and fast rule about how people make their choice in marriage just make sure you are not deceiving yourself. My 2 cents 5 Likes |

Bros take am easy!! Regardless of how you're feeling, you're not the only one in the situation.
Have you tried inviting her out to a private resort and trying to get to the bottom of things? Is there somebody you know she is very close to or defers to that you can table your matter before?
The good thing about your situation is there are no kids yet BUT are you sure even though you said both of you agreed not to have kids yet, she doesn't actually feel it's a solo decision of yours.
It's very simple, easy and sometimes the cowardly route to take to start insinuating that your woes are because of marriage to her. There are a great deal we don't know about your story.
Bring mature people she respects into the matter and please try and maintain some sense of normalcy and engage yourself in things that you personally enjoy doing . Abeg no give yourself hypertension. The closest description of hell is usually a turbulent marriage. |

Family / Re: How Can A 37 Yrs Old Single Lady Attract Suitors? by kukuruku156(f): 10:44am On Mar 21, 2015 |
moderatorr1: bad attitude Dress attractively Remove her tattoos Where earrings only on one hole not the whole 6 ![smiley](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/smiley.png) No anklets Go to church (big church with touche brothers), join choir
Call back a day after a husband material calls. Nothing, you just want to call back to know how he is doing. Tell him like that. It works magic. Accept that men need freedom and can be dating 2 women same time, but will always marry the best.
Get a #certificate , will make the man see you as a big asset When ever u go to the man's house, before any other thing, wash, clean, sweep everything And learn how to cook a good, delicious, finger biting meal...
No more dry cleaning, do all his washing for him.
Become a light skinned lady - bleach up to 50% It has been scientifically proven that attractive ladies get more attention and get treated much better.
Don't be expensive and never ever ever ask him for money, never. If he gives, show appreciation, use part of it to buy him something the next day. Tell him you want to show appreciation.
Smell good, apply 30% perf. Not too much, but something he can perceive from hugging distance.
Dont preach to him. Most guys don't go to church often for several different reasons. Dont force him to come to church or ask him why he didn't go. Just call and gist him on how something happened at the church program etc. But don't ask him why he didn't go...every time. Guys think logically, some have had experience with bad pastors and have turned 70% atheists. Some are working too hard to 'be a man' and Sundays are just too precious to loose. As long as you find out that the man is not some occultist, doesn't wear mysterious rings and have rooms you shouldn't enter etc. If you proceed to marry an occultist, you or your kid will probably be used for sacrifice one day ![smiley](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/smiley.png)
