Literature / Welcome To Today by kulikuli45: 11:41am On Feb 13, 2019
Welcome to the world today.....
Where sex is free and love is expensive. Where losing a phone is more painful than losing your virginity.

Where modernization means nudity, profanity, and if you don't drink/smoke dope you're out of fashion/style.

Where boys stay boys and never want to become men, and girls become men to rule over them.

Where if you don't fool your partner it's because you're not clever enough.

Where the bathrooms have become photography studios.

Where pizza delivery is faster than the emergency response.

Where people fear the thieves and the terrorists more than God.

Where Worshipping God is difficult. Where temples turn into dating pools. Where lies become realities.

Where the ladies fear pregnancy more than HIV and babies are murdered so the ladies can escape.

Where people become toxic when they speak the truth or you're resisting to turn from what is actually toxic. Where perspectives and clothes decide the value of a person.

Where money is more important than family and God.

Where children are ready to leave their families for their love of the moment, rebellion and spite.

Where the marriage covenant is no longer sacred or taken seriously.

Where it's easier to play house than to build a home.

Where jumping from partner to partner for sex or attention is easier than waiting for the right partner for life.

Where love is a game.
And evil is the norm.

Whoever plays with the mind always gets happiness and who plays with the heart always hurts.

Modernity, love and liquid education...

The next generation.

OK. That's cool.

I have a whining issue with my w123 differential. Tried about four different replacements with no luck. The one I settled for doesn't whine but has a slight grinding noise.

Guess I'll just turn the tape up. Thanks.

Your other issue really sounds like MAF issue. You can attempt cleaning the sensor.

Yeah. It was really bad at some point. Sensor was cleaned and it improved. I just ordered one on amazon.

How is the differential of your car OP?

Any whining or grinding noise?

Nope.
Drives perfect except for the occasional rough idle...especially when u attempt a power takeoff. Spanner guys say it's mass air flow sensor.

Otherwise, it drives like a dream.

Onoghen has been suspended, u guys should come to reality. the best thing u guys can do is to approach the court of law for redress.

No one will be spare in this anti corruption fight, we can't have a criminal as CJN. Even those in APC will still be dealt with.

It is only Buhari that can pull this through, the nation will be sanitize and more democratic leader will take over, but right now Nigeria need someone that is strong headed and with iron fist to fix this corruption that has form the foundation of this country.

Nigeria will be save.

For what?

This action, as well as the nominee for IGP, finally put to rest any second thots as to the desperation that is Buhari.
After ignoring several court orders in this same country, it is amusing how he is quick to implement a questionable CCT order.

The nomination of a new IGP was another opportunity to show federal character. However, he chose to further cement his belief in nepotism.

Someone shd sue both CCB, it's chairman, and whoever is responsible for keeping the forms safe, and also the two individuals that they gave the forms to. Only then will government start taking its citizens serious.

That paint-job and color are absolutely superb, Oga KukiKuli. You are a man of discerning taste, a gentleman and a scholar, without question.

The car looks like it just rolled off the assembly line. There is not a ripple or dent in sight, meaning that the sandpapering and body surface preparation were first-rate, even before the actual painting commenced.

I hereby award you three hearty 2019 GBOSAS for this fine chariot that you have revived so expertly. This is the perfect set of wheels to ride for open highway adventures in a timeless classic.

Most appreciated sir grin

It's been impossible to get my preferred all-clear 'white' rear lights. I'm thinking to wrap the old one in black tint to kuku give it the all black look.

Thank GOD for the good news, but the story is still somehow nothing shows that Badeh tried to attack them when they were to be abducted that made them kill him. if they are actual kidnappers and not hired assassins they will prefer to abduct Badeh than other person in the car because they will generate more money from his people, his stature would have sold him out that he is a big man.

What if in trying to stop the vehicle with bullets, Badeh was already fatally wounded? They will have no choice than to carry the next valuable person in the car.

Do you have any plans of modifying it? A turbo, maybe?

Turbo Certainly.
However, I plan to save up and get a proper aftermarket mod kit.
Trial and error modification on an aluminum cylinder head will be stupidly expensive short and long term.

M104 installation successful.
Started and ran smoothly after swapping ECU thrice.

Throttle modification from rod to cable ongoing. It's been tough getting the right throttle pedal for reconstruction.

Streetrun hopefully on a couple of days.

If only you can get it to work with the M112 or M113, it would ve been a better project and I think the engine n gear of the m112/M113 should be cheaper than the M104 u plan to use

Great engine, byt modern electrics will be a major issue. Also fitting Power steering box, as against steering rack.

. Will the exhaust manifold clear the steering box ? These are 90° V wide engines. The m117 is little bit narrower and the manifold has been designed to clear the box and other things. As mentioned b4 an alternative to the m104 (which is a nice choice ) is the lexus 1uzfe the early models, bullet prove, relatively easy to wire, provided the exhaust manifold clears the body or custom ones can be made

How about the Toyota 1Fz-Fe? Awesome engine too. I haven't seen it in a non-4wd vehicle though.

Lol, there's a misconception here. The M104 is an i6 and is one of the greatest engines ever made, alongside the Barra, LS, and 2JZ.

Can put out massive power when modified!

Ahhhhh.

I'll have to do some serious maths.

I gave the project a semi open cheque.

But I'm sure I can tabulate the major expenses.

I'll put that up some time soon.

Its about time for this thread. I expected you will start on technical and intrior refurbishing first before body works and wheels. Lets see how it pans out though cos I know this is definitely a $$$ guzzling project

You thought right sir.
However, Makurdi (where I bought the car) wasn't my preferred place to work on her. I had to make it drive-able to Abuja, hence the engine touch-up and initial body work. The primer was to give it some sort of 'paint look' instead of the terribly deteriorating skin it had on.

Wheel and tyres was a steal. A good friend found them all for N90k. 18" chromes with 2016 rubber. Almost new. I just had to. Besides, the tyres on the car were gone. I needed to replace them either ways.

So being in Abuja now, we have settled in to the correct work sequence. Engine and Transmission installed yesterday. Wiring ongoing. You know how it is with trial and error ECU and Air flow meter.

Also did some construction to fit the cable throttle system.

Next week will be interior, hopefully.
