Pls I need your suggestions urgently as I will be going for my interview soon. My uncle and my Aunty will be sponsoring my trip to the US but when I was filling my Ds160 the availabile space could not contain the two names so I filled my aunty.

1. Is it reasonable for me to tell the VO that my Aunty and my uncle will be responsible for my expenses over there even if I did not state my uncle’s name in the ds160 form? Note: my uncle’s account is his company’s account

2. What is the maximum period a statement of account should be? Is 29th of October not too late

D most frustrating moments started few days ago when I started witnessing Glo network failure....
The network is so annoying, frustrating, disappointing, embarrassing, tiring, exhausting, disturbing,.....

1. Call network zero... U can't even call the customer care service... Some days the network will b off completely from morning till night, while some days it comes on for 2minutes n goes off for 10minites simultaneously.

2. Browsing wise.... Don't even try it at all. I couldn't open a web page.. It keeps winning n winning for hours.

3. The most annoying part is the fraudulent act. I subscribed for a monthly data plan (7.5G for #2,500) but to my greatest surprise when I checked the data balance this morning, I was told I have 1.3G left (for 7.5G that was supposed to expire 27th of March).

I subscribed 2gb of #1000 last Thursday, despite not having network to access the internet fast forward Friday morning 900mb varnished into thin air. As at today I have just over 300mb left. I am just surprised how facebook lite, whatsapp, ucweb and chrome can exhaust 1.6gb in less than four days.

My points...
1. There is nothing wrong in going for another interview while u r stil working with a company (as long as u are not in any bond agreement with ur comp). Also if u have swap from one company to another, u must have done this (lied) b4.
I was given 2days sick leave in my previous company and I used d 2days off to attend another medical examination of another company. And I resigned from my former comp d day my 2days sick leave expired...

2. If d boss can b among d panelists, then it makes it simple for d guy. D question is wat is d boss also doing there? Definitely working for another company too (probably consultant or so)...

I don't see that as greed. It's called aspiring to be better. U don't just remain stationary and hope to improve.

Even the boss that was one of the panelists, what was he doing dia. Won't he be paid for that job he went there for. The boss is also doing double job. That time he was spending there belongs to the company that employed him and not for that one that hired him for the interview.

Well, it is true that some guys (plus a lady) have been contacted and had progressed to VISA interview/appointment stage...but no offer had been given even though it looks bright that they're already in.
Since no regret/unsuccessful mails have been sent to anyone, there is a possibility that a wait list OR another batch may emerge. Let us all keep hope alive!

We all did our best to get to this stage and I'm sure NLNG will get back to everyone - when they have to.

Buklaws, the guys aren't in anyway growing far apart from you, it's just that they're so busy trying to put things in good shape; resigning from their previous jobs, documentations, TB tests, getting International passports, Original certificates,VISA interviews et al.

Please bear with them and I assure everyone that they'll be here soon to jist us and run us through how it's been like offline.

Something I witnessed this morning.....

I boarded a car from choba (port harcourt) to bayelsa this morning. The vehicle took off from Rumuokoro.

There were 2 guys already at the back seat and I joined them to make it 3. One of the guys was asleep when I entered. We proceeded With d journey. One person was sitting at the front seat.

After about 12 kilometers, my eyes started peppering me and I started perceiving a choking smell. I perceived the smell was from the car exhaust (carbon monoxide).

I immediately alerted the driver and asked him if his boot was opened or the car exhaust was leaking? He said yes that the boot (trunk) isn't closing proper. He pleaded we should please endure it. The passenger at the front seat said I should manage that I will soon drop that it nothing.

I tried to endure for a while, but something came to my mind. The guy that was sleeping hasn't woken up, so I thought about the safety part of this guy. (I am a safety officer and a trained 1st aider). I tried to check for responsiveness but there was no pulse (checked through his neck and his wrist).

I quickly alerted the driver and we parked. We brought the guy out and observed he was unconscious due to the smoke from the exhaust. We laid him properly.

People were panicking. I immediately commenced Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and he responded within the 1st CPR cycle.

After few minutes he was very ok. He then narrated that all he could remembered was that he started feeling a choking smell and that was all....

Let us keep hope alive, more invitations are coming, I have a strong feeling about that.
On the interview day, I answered their questions perfectly and I also asked them a very brilliant question, so I see no reason why they shouldn't invite me. Without doubts, the process is still very much on.

My brother I understand ur point/feeling n that of others waiting for iv too..... A friend did his interview @ph n complained he didn't performed wella but he was invited for medical...

The only singular proof that the process is not yet over is d fact that REGRET MAILS hasn't been sent (when compared to d last n previous recruitments).
Nlng normally send regret mails @least a day after or before med IVs.

Like u said bro, much hope still alive.....
