Business / Re: Voguepay's New Pricing Will Encourage Smes To Adopt Online Payment In Nigeria. by Kunlayd: 12:01pm On Jan 17, 2017
lojik:
When I started VoguePay.com in 2012, the vision has been to help small businesses send and receive payment online at the lowest fee possible. I am happy that my team at VoguePay just made the announcement of our price changes. It is the LOWEST TRANSACTION fees for any online payment processor in Nigeria.

If you've really been through all that and you're still asking how to treat it, then I really should not advise.
It might be that your wife just feels you're neither smart enough or man enough. Go start by working on yourself. With all you wrote up there, the only problem I see is you. Cant blame a woman who's way smarter than her hubby. Cheers!

I wont be the one to conclude whether lhpay is genuine or not. Na person wey put hin money for that kain business get issue. No business ethics, no sign of moral responsibility. How can a business or its one million staffs stationed on Nairaland be talking about how legitimate it is to clone, imitate, or copy a site? Have they no image to create and protect for themselves? Really sad. As a start up biz, It wont be wrong to go and stake my bet on seeing lhpay crash within this year. If this is the quality of people they can put on the field, then they cannot be any better inside.

A quick summary of what I learnt:
1) A staff says they only have a cyprus and US address.
2) Another refuses to say if he's in Nigeria or a Nigerian.
3) They claim they dont have an india address
4) Nairalanders dug up posts where these same one million staffs provided Nigerian phone numbers for lhpay
5) Another Nairalander shares a chat where a staff claims to be chatting from india (her home? abi dem don get india address in 48hrs?)
6) A staff abi na Nairalander claims lhpay is owned by a Nigerian living in cyprus
7) They claim they do not have interswitch in their dna
cool A Nairalander dug up posts where they claimed to have interswitch
9) A Nairalander challenges them to deny the fact that they were kicked out by interswitch and gtpay.
They went silent for the fear of being exposed.

Yet, some think all the noise is about nothing? No way I'm ever opening an account with these chameleons.

Vinshu:

PayPal and VoguePay design are almost same.. even with lhpay

voguepay.com
paypal.com
lhpay.net

See the similarities in the three websites!

So all you are saying is crap!

@Vinshu, It costs nothing to respect others. No matter how foul your mouth is, you should keep it to yourself if you were not taught how to use it. Halimat is a Nairaland veteran. You appear to be a baby. You can check pictures below to see if voguepay.com, paypal.com and lhpay.net are same. You appear more confused and with a head soaked in crap!
It is out of place to clone a site. There is what we call ethics in business. I wonder if any of you people running a foul mouth are more than cleaners in a workplace. You seem not to understand the implication of business morals at all. Lhpay should be ashamed of all they have said here. I dont even know how many of their officers have posted different stuff here and it all points back to the company's image. Like I said, we need to be careful with whom we do business.
Faceless officers posting next-to-official comments and who cant stand up to identify themselves. Yack!

Oops! Sorry @Coolsix. You have done well actually. Just concerned cos I grew interest in knowing more about lhpay and that is why I searched Nairaland for our earlier discussion. Just to satisfy my curiosity however, are you Nigerian, Cypriot or American? I suppose that should be a harmless question?

I just noticed some things on your website that needs to be changed before we can believe this is not another payment gateway that will disappear in some months time.

1. You don't have a contact address on your website, how do you expect us to trust you with our money when we don't know where your physical office is located. All what you have on the contact from on your website is just your mobile no, email address and a contact form.
2. You are using a WHOIS guard to hide the registrant details of the domain lhpay.net. It seems you are trying to stay anonymous.
3. Why does my website have to be hosted by LHPay before I can apply for LHPayments Pro, you are meant to be a payment gateway not a web hosting company.
4. We need to know you are a duly registered with the CAC, there is nothing like that on your site, we don't even know the owner of the site for starters.
5. Why do we have to pay the setup fee in $ and not in Naira?

All this questions need to be answered thoroughly before you can be taken seriously.

But kudos on what you have there.

nawebco:
do i need to contact you? when my money suddenly disppeared with you. if not for the quick intervention of Paypal before my money was refunded. I was just asking to know other peoples experience.

I saw these when trying to dig up my first encounter with lhpay. Oga, I see you have made changes and still not bold enough to display your Nigerian address. How come you haven't replied?
Kunlayd:

Just checked lhpay and they have no contact details whatsoever. Not even an ordinary phone number. And same applies to your site whsms too. Are you not just another scammer looking to take advantage of people?

We really need to be careful. I doubt if this lhpay was set up with good intentions at all...

Who copied who?
Its either they both used the same template or one copied the other. In case of the latter, i think LHPay would have copied VoguePay for the following reasons:

Where have you been halimat? I have not been seeing your tech analysis on this forum lately

coolsix:

Good day sir,

Lhpay.net is an entity registered in Cyprus and owned by LoadedHost LLC (Registered Business In the US) and it is not affiliated with Voguepay in anyway.

The services rendered are far from the same. Although it's the same payment processing but LHPAY offers Merchant Services which Vogue pay does not e.g Virtual Terminal, PCI DSS, Credit Card Processing APIs, eCheck Payments and ACH Direct.

So they are far from the same.. Voguepay is an aggregate of Interswitch (reseller) .. LHPay is a Merchant Provider approved by Master Card , Visa and Discover. (We don't process payments with Interswitch)

Regarding the website being same... I guess the website developer used a similar template. Lhpay is not with Voguepay.

Although a partnership anytime soon would be great though smiley

I think it is safe to assume that you are either one of the lhpay partners, owners or staff. Now you have a lot of explaining to do to us here at Nairaland. If you are any of all, how come there is no Nigerian address for lhpay and you are here? If you are not, how come you are sure of a partnership without being a senior member of lhpay?
You posted that reply and now, when I checked your site, the image has been quickly changed? Ordinarily, i would expect a company to consider how such quickfire changes will affect their business before they make it at all. This happened too fast, this thread is less than 24 hours old. I think it is obvious who copied who. The only question should then be why.

You really need the account right? Then send a mail to their support team or put a call across to them. People do not have to register on voguepay to pay you. Also, like it has been said, you can register your business using international passport, voters card, national ID card or a Govt issued ID card plus your utility bill. You wouldnt spend this much effort if you contact their support team.

What is this talk about accepting international cards all about? .....

Wont the incidence of fraud increase? Knowing how notorious Nigerians in the diaspora are.

I share your fears, but you see, I do believe voguepay is in a better position to take our markets global than all other business ventures claiming to be payment processors. Leke Ojikutu of Afrisoft is by far one of the baddest programmers in Nigeria and he developed voguepay. I have danced around several payment processors before staying with voguepay. I can authoritatively say that voguepay is the most secure of them all thanks to Ojikutu's regular updating of security on the system.
If voguepay says international is the way to go, I will be one of the first to hop on board cos I know security will not be an issue.
Webmasters / Re: Voguepay Not Working by Kunlayd: 9:56am On Nov 06, 2013
Before choosing a means of accepting payment on my site, I particularly studied several reviews online, Nairaland inclusive and I realised there's a very high level of belief in VoguePay among users. I use VoguePay now, it was integrated on my website by their support team. My IT consultant has integrated some of their tools on my site and I have not had a complaint since.
If their customer service have not been picking your calls, then you may need to check to see why. I dont believe it though (especially because you said "several"), cos my receptionist here talks to them regularly and still spoke to them on Monday when we had to request them to check the activities of a customer whom we felt was fraudulent.

GraphicsPlus:
You pay 1k and after so called thorough screening, 5 persons will be selected.
I know that about 100,000 Nigerian youths will register. Then 1k times 100k. That's big buck for Afrisoft.

@GraphicsPlus, I feel you. I was just considering enrolling. If the training is really "Intensive," then 3 months might not be the problem. I dont want to spend 1 year learning something like that.
5 persons times 50,000 is 250K which is higher than the 100K you have up there. The actual maths is how much Afrisoft will be making from this training if they are talking about 1,000 entrepreneurs. For a company of Afrisoft's size, I assume 100K should be negligible.
You have to work harder to make me see why I shouldnt join the train just yet. Abi na make I begin regret not joining when the program is over?
