Aminat508: @Kunlexic
“When one of you
enters the masjid whilst the imaam is on the pulpit (delivering the khutba)
then he should not perform any salaat nor should he speak until the imaam
completes (the sermon).” (Tabrani)
A hadith in Musnad Ahmad also suggests that when one enters the Musjid for
Salaatul-Jumua and the imaam has already commenced the sermon, then one
should sit down and listen attentively to the sermon and not perform any
salaat. ( Musnad Ahmad pg. 75, vol 5)

Education › Re: 2016/2017 Obafemi Awolowo University Aspirant by Kunlexic(m): 9:07pm On Oct 05, 2015 |
OAU admission is highly based on merit. And they give all states in the federation special consideration and rights to education that is why they gave each states its merit cut-off. Based on the number of candidates aspiring from each state they fix cut-off for differnts states under the catchment. The states under the catchment are states in the south-westhern region, all northern states and few states in the south-eastern states. If your states is not among the catchment,u still have right to be admitted into the institution but u will score high than those from the catchments.E.g Depending on the performace the may fix the cut-off for a particular course at let say 210,this 210 will be usefull mostly for candidates under the non-catchments states E.g Delta,Edo,Anambra etc. While for the special consideration for the states under catchment.E.g-Osun,Oyo,Lagos,Ogun,Ondo Ekiti may be given deir own mark let say 209.5 that is the merit cut-off for the state(0.5 less than general cut-ff) they will also give another special consideration to the states in the ELDS catchment by bring the cut-off down a little bit because they have disadvantages to education e.g let say 204.5 for that same course,it is also their own merit(which is 5.5 less than the general cut-off). For the guy talking of UI,Oau favour most states in the federation than UI because in UI their merit is the merit for all states in the federation. If they say cut-off is 60 for a course that means cut-off for all states in the federation is 60 unlike oau, unilag and some others that will still fix cut-off lower for each states. If u score 59 and the cut off is 60,the rest is by chance for u. Wishing y'all best of luck |
