By Cham Faliya Sharon 1. First, be a member of the best criminal political party in Africa 2. Make sure you are elected as governor of your state based on your religion. Forget about integrity and character and vision - they don't count here 3. Use public funds to build a replica of the State Government House in your village, and be operating from there most often in addition to Abuja the federal capital 4. Convert the state's financial resources into your own personal account 5. Forget about infrastructural development. Even if some people complain ask your media people to label them as bad losers 6. While in office enrol as a trainee pilot in one of the flight training schools 7. Meanwhile build a mini-airport in your village for your own use 8. Neglect to develop all the roads in the state 9. Purchase your own aircraft with the public funds you have converted for your personal use 10. Begin to fly the plane by yourself even though you just spent six months training as a pilot 11. Meanwhile cause your deputy to be removed by your State House of Assembly over charges of financial fraud, a crime which you are guilty of billions of times over 12. Appoint a more malleable deputy you think you can trust 101% 13. Your plane crashes with you as pilot in a forest area not far from your own state 14. You were initially assumed dead but by a stroke of miracle you didn't die 15. The hospitals in the country which idiots and rogues like you in power neglected to develop cannot manage your critical health condition 16. Public funds that could have been used to better the poor have to be used to fly you overseas for specialists to handle you 17. It happens that you are brain damaged, and you cannot function positively in any work (except perhaps your bedroom duty) 18. Concerns are raised about your inability to work, for the law is clear that you shouldn't remain as governor 19. Problem is, your deputy is not of the same religion with you 20. Your state branch of the Religious Association of Nigeria (RAN) will make it clear that they will not have someone of a different religion as governor, and a good number of the citizens in your state will agree with them because they think the state is only for them 21. Your loyalists and the other religious bigots will engage in all manner of propaganda about your health recovery 22. They arrange for you to return home in your sordid state of health so that you can takeover governance 23. They use trusted aides to prop you up at the various airports, and they also shield you from news reporters. In fact, they make you to even snub your loyal deputy who was at the airport to receive and welcome you 24. Be sure not to make a state wide broadcast on radio and television so that the people will not see that you are actually a vegetable with incoherent speech 25. You takeover governance, take an official leave of duty, and go back to the U.S.A for continuation of treatment so that that other religion does not become full time governor and convert everyone in your state to his religion by force! Hahaha.... 26. Meanwhile public funds will continue to flow to you and your family in millions 27. Your people will be happy because, at least someone of their religion is still the governor even if he is now a vegetable 28. Then what next? 29. Then stupidity of the electorate continues. That's all. # TarabaStateWakeUp # NigeriaShallBeFree |
Salam Alekum! Where are you based? I would love to learn but I am based in Oyo state. |
golpen: I also live in ibadan...there are plenty mosques where you can do itikaf in ibadan...there's arisekola mosque in iwo rd though its always too rowdy there, there's kuliyatu-l-imam malik in olunloyo rd (I always have mine there also) but I don't think I'll be in for this year's, but I'll recommend you do it there. You'll enjoy it insha Allah. If you want me to describe the place for you, you may tell me where you'll be coming from.Brother, J.k. So far, so good, the references are I have in Ibadan is the Arisekola Mosque hence, I agree with you that the mosque will be rowdy. I think I will go for the one you are used to. Is there a particular amount if money I am to pay? Sir, kindly share your experience and the address. |
Aminat508: what of osun/osogbo, am also going for here in osogboHaaaa... Osogbo! Would have loved Osogbo but I am not familiar with the place coupled with the fact that I dont want to go outside Oyo State. |
Salam Alekum, brothers and sisters. In my quest for more knowledge and a sound spiritual life, I wish to embark on I'tikaf this ramadhan even if its for the last three days. Being the first time, I dont know any mosque around my area where I can go and that's where the first challenge comes in. I am presently in Ibadan, can anyone who knows a place kindly help me out? I wouldn't mind even if its in Lagos, Oyo town or anywhere close to Ibadan. Also, what am I going to need as I embark on this spiritual sojourn? Expecting your swift responses! |

Feeling good here too... Just finished eating rice and beans! |
siddiq202: Taraweeh starts after Ishai prayer.Good one there! We are still saying the same thing and I have told you the exact time of prayers in my mosque, I live outside Lagos at the moment. I pray in a congregation that consists mostly of old people and I believe that's the reason behind the fast prayers. Anyways, lets not detail from the topic. How is the fasting going over there? |
maclatunji: If you live in Nigeria, you are most likely not praying at the right time. At the moment, the time for Ishai in Lagos is 8.22pm or thereabouts. It is certain you cannot finish taraweeh by 8.30pm if you start at this time.Well bro, Ishai starts 8pm in my mosque and like I said earlier, we finish taraweeh at about 8:30pm. If I may ask, is there a set time for taraweeh? What is supposed to be the average duration for the prayer? |
siddiq202: Practice makes perfect.Lol. Bro, you got me there! I didn't o... But seriously, I mentioned earlier that I travelled somewhere and it was the closest mosque in the vicinity that's why I prayed there. Now, I am back to base where our taraweeh ends 8:30pm maxi! lol |
Both are nice concepts but its better you opt for the car wash biz since you don't have any experience in photography. You can send me an email via zskimprexions@gmail.com if you are serious. I have a biz model for the carwash biz and I am in dire need of investors. |
siddiq202: We do finish our taraweeh around 9:45, that's 15mins more.Really? So, how do you cope with that everyday? |
Alihamdulilahi...2nd day is gone. I travelled out of my base today. I decided ti sleep over and I went ti a mosque nearby to observe my prayers. Nothing eventful happened until taraweeh. We observed so many rituals that I never heard of during taraweeh and d prayer session was really long. There were two imams exchanging the prayers and they were trying hard to deliver long surahs. I must confess that I almost quit at a time. But thank God, we finished after 9:30pm. Got to sleep now! |
I am so sorry for the typo error. Yes, it looks exactly like that. |
Is it a tablet or a phone?
Thanks so much for the correction, as you can see, the post is modified but can you help out? |
maclatunji: Amin, substitute 'I know' with 'I pray'. Allah's blessings are never far from those who have faith, pray and persevere.Thank you, brother! Subh time! |
I woke up around 4:00am for suhoor. Did my tahajjud till 4:35am or thereafter. Ate amala with little appetite and thereafter read some literatures till Subh. Came back trying to catch some sleep but unfortunately couldnt get enough sleep. I had nowhere to rush to as I am 'jobless' but I know that before the end of this Ramadhan period, Allah will surprise me. Nothing much all day except.that I took a nap and went for shopping (plan to give out milk to old people in my area). I am also.using this medium to pray that may almighty Allah grant all.my requests for a good life. |
Hello Gurus, kindly help me out! I just got a tablet sent to me from a brother in UAE. On receiving the device, I tried looking for the model name but to my surprise, it has no name both on the device and the carton. But this is the info I got on the device; Model Number : T98 Android Version : 4.0.4 Baseband version: 1.5 Kindly interprete for me pls. Also, I discovered that each time I insert my sim, it doesn't recognize my sim contacts though I can call out and receive calls. Dialing any code that ends with # e.g *556# will always bring out INVALID MMI CODE. Pls help me out of this as its very confusing and frustrating! Thanks. |
