Where will I even start from. God really showed me mercy in this journey of 9months.

Towards ending of August, 2022 I found out o was pregnant, I was very happy because I have been praying to God to bless my womb. Hubby returned and I told him, he was very happy and we did a scan to be very sure. Which it was confirmed that I was some weeks gone and EED is May 8th, 2023. My birthday month. The joy doubled.
The journey began; fast forward towards ending of first trimester, I woke up one morning and was not able to urinate. Hubby had to rush me to a private hospital in our estate.
I was admitted and was passed catheter to use. Before the incident I had already done a scan which I was told I had fibroid.
I was admitted, doctor placed me on series of test to know what may have seize my urine. All test came out negative including urinalyses.
After much, doctor said the only option left is for me to do surgery to remove the fibroid that the fibroid is resting on my bladder and also, the baby will be flushed because it’s a 50 50 thing. I cried, I told hubby I don’t wanna loose my baby. The doctor scheduled us for the operation, I told hubby I’m doing any surgery. Had to involve my parents, because the doctor was already messing with my hubby’s mind.

My parents invited me to come over to Lagos from PH. I was discharged after 4days from that private hospital, booked a flight and straight to Lagos. Met with my family doctor, after checking my baby, he said baby is fine that the only solution for now is for me to be on catheter for another 2months, that once the bump gets bigger, it will push the fibroid away from that position and I will be able to pee on my own.
Another wahala again, I was on catheter and still going to work. I used it for almost a month before God showed me mercy. I was able to pee on my own till I delivered.

Had to register for antenatal and was told I will deliver through CS due to the fibroid position.

Second trimester was smooth with normal orishirishi pains each week.

Third trimester was cool too.

I was planning to take leave ending of April, but baby took everyone unawares.

Went to work on 11th April, 12th April was my antenatal, met with my doctor to complain about how I’m feeling, the so-called doctor told me I should go home and take Para that it’s the fibroid pains. Also placed me on diet and some sugar test. I left the hospital angrily.

I got home that afternoon and was feeling so sad, moody. I started crying, called hubby to come back home that I’m not feeling okay. That I’m having pains. Hubby came back and took me to the hospital for us to complain about the pains.
A nurse asked me to go straight to maternity ward, I was checked, behold I was already 7cm dilated. The yesterday of it myself and hubby had a good sex round sha,lol. I was now thinking if that contributed for me seeing a bloody show.

The dancing and makosa now begun, I got checked around some mins to 9pm, I delivered my prince 11:30pm. Even though the nurse that took my delivery was very harsh towards me, I believed she deliberately gave me cut self because baby wasn’t big. Before she could sluggishly came to me, I had already pushed and baby’s head was already out.

In all I gave God all the glory. My first fruit wasn’t aborted according to the so-called private hospital I went initially.

Also, even when the nurses were going through my folder, there were like Madam, are you aware you’re supposed to deliver through CS, even with the pains I told them NO, that my second scan at 28weeks indicated that my passage is free and no fibroid down my cervix.

I just want to say God thank you.

The lord has done it again. I gave birth to a bouncy baby girl this morning 21April. Edd 3 of may.

Started contractions around 4am on 20th of April, Call the emergency line and my husband took me to the hospital. I was admitted and monitored. Still contracting at 10min intervals. Around 10pm it changed to every 6min, I called the midwive to examine me, I was only 2cm dilated. They checked baby for like 40min...ctg..I was told baby is in distress...the contractions had became intense this time and I was screaming.They checked again I was 4cm, Due to my previous C's I already have two kids. The plan was to do a CS, but I don't understand why they allowed me go into labor. I was given a gas to breath in and out to help with contractions which helped a little. An emergency CS was scheduled and baby was delivered. I give all glory to the most high God. Mother and daughter is healthy. Somebody should shout hallelujah.

congratulations to those that have given birth, it will be easy for us ijn. Please I need help o...I have bin having contractions since 4am today. And it's last for 1,min at 10min interval , sometimes 20min...but the contractions is just 1 min. From 4am up till now no progress, the time is currently almost 10pm. I have bin admitted , they checked cervix this afternoon still close n this contraction is painful... please what can I do for progress....I'm tired...

I welcomed my Prince and Princess (twins) on April 19th, 2023 @8pm via vaginal delivery.

Baby weight: 2.2 kg and 2.2 kg @36wks & 7 days

Fourth trimester isn’t funny at all.
Is it the suture pains Abi my young man sucking hell out of my nipple and me not sleeping at night anymore.
In all, I give all thanks to God for making me a mother.

Glory, honor & adoration to the Lord. I welcommy princess to world yesterday around 11pm after a distressed & prolong Labour which later led to CS. 3.3kg. EDD may 2nd. Dob April 13th.

When I discovered that I was pregnant, I wasn't happy about it cos I wasn't ready to have another child as my first child was only a year and 2months old but my husband was happy and he tagged me an ungrateful soul but I careless. I wished and hoped to lose the pregnancy at early stage, but God is not a man

The journey was a smooth one until it got to 34th week and I started having contractions coupled with fibroad degeneration. I went to the hospital and was placed on injections to stop the contractions, it stopped for a while but came back with full force the following week and I had to manage the pain since the cervix was still closed.
The contractions was on and off till 40th week. By 41 weeks, which was 20th march, my tired was already tired. I told my husband I was going to the bank after dropping my daughter at school, that was how I trekked 45mins to the bank and also trekked back. While I was on the journey, the contraction was coming back to back (15mins apart)
I picked my daughter up from school and took her to salon to make her hair, then to my friend's place opposite the salon before finally heading home, by this time the contraction was getting intense (5mins apart)
I took my bath and arranged the house while I waited for my husband to come back. Not long after, he came back with soup ingredients and was making mouth about how he wants to make a badass ogbono for me, I just told him to forget about that and help me prepare noodles for our daughter so we can head to the hospital, he did that in a rush while I soak garri with cold water.
We got to the hospital some minutes past 8pm, I got checked and was told it was just finger tip, by 11:15 I started having the urge to push and called the matron attention to it, they didn't believe me because I wasn't dramatizing, by the time the matron checked me the baby's head was visible, with just 2 pushes, the baby was out weighing 3.6kg and I was stitched up cos I had tear(that was when people knew someone was in labor because I didn't shout throughout the process.


I've finally thrown the boot into the lake of fire like a Mama stated here earlier.

Good morning mama's, I've been at the hospital since last night as instructed by the Dr. I'm 37 3days. Like I said I've been having contraction since last week Monday & becoming stronger though going on & off. Dr. said they'll induce wt cathetar & observe for 12 hrs b4 they can know if it works or progress to tablet.
BUT...
my fear is d Dr said if it doesn't work it's CS. God knows I DON'T want CS because I still want to try to get pregnant early next year.
Pls what shud I do? What is the accuracy of inducing? I mean the percentage of it working? I'm really confused. Pls advice me. I'm confused

for two days now, I have been having the hard and painful tommy stuff. I don't even know how to explain it ni. on of a sudden my tommy will just go so hard and it comes with pains and discomfort, after some time, it will release on its own.

How much time do you have in between the tummy tightening and relief? It might be labour and since tomorrow is your ante-natal, pls complain and if the pain is not bearable, head to the hospital.

I am 36weeks already. Please I don't understand that pattern. My antenatal is tomorrow.

Ahh sis, I've been having contraction since Monday o. Dr. said if Labour don't Come b4 Wednesday I should pack my bag & come that they may induce. I'm scare because I heard it's painful. The contraction is becoming stronger & on & off.
