Toopee:I requested to be medically induced when I have passed the two due dates given to me by scan. That fateful day around 2pm I jejely carried myself to the hospital because hubby was not around and I didn't even want to tell anyone for fear of discouragement cos I already zero my mind. I was induced around 2p.m in the afternoon, after the induced I insisted on going home to eat and rest since the hospital is a stone throw to my house. I started having on and off contraction after 4p.m and after eating, I showered and walk down to the.hospital around 7p.m. The nurse on duty tested me and said I have a long way to go na so I mellow and lie down on the bed. At exactly 8:30 pm, I had this very sharp pain down my tummy and from there serious labour started ooo. My sister I went to heaven and came back but I thank God for his mercies because I gave birth around 10:21pm that same night. Two things helped me 1. I zeroed my mind that pain na pain o because my tired is already tired. 2. God's grace and mercy. |

If I can come back to this world, I will choose to get married to this same family I am married into and also have the same mother-in-love. She is a selfless person who put other people's welfare ahead of hers. When I gave birth to my daughter, I had to stay with her for 9 months thereabout and if you see the way she took care of me, it is as if I came out of her bosom and even after I left to go back to my husband, she call me every single day. Mama lodidi, you are the answer to my mother's prayers for me to have a good home and a good family and I promise to be the daughter you never had. |
Frenzy01:Which one sir? I am based in lagos and kwara state. |

Abeg let me too participate. To God be the glory, great things he hath done. My pregnancy was an unexpected one because it came when I was not ready for marriage talkless of pregnancy. I finished from the University after the school delayed us for 8years for a 5years course over incessant strike and I happened to be among the few lucky ones mobilized for NYSC in March. After our coro-camp incidence, I went to my fiance's place and spent some time with him and left after few days before the lockdown became inter-state and I was two weeks after I got home that I discovered that I was pregnant. Ha! that I was shattered was an understatement and I began to cry and beg God for it not to be true. After some times, I told my fiance and he accepted it wholeheartedly and told me that we need to start preparing for marriage and we got married in August after the whole coro-episode. 1st Trimester My first trimester was a fight from 4 weeks to the end, From ms to lost of appetite to indigestion was what I faced in this trimester but I thank God it all eased at the start of the 2nd trimester. 2nd Trimester All what I faced reduced to indigestion in 2nd trimester, I battled this one sotey that I almost disappear into the air when whatever I eat won't digest. 3rd Trimester This trimester came with frequent urination, incessant eating and metallic taste but I thank God because they were still manageable. On 2nd of December I started experiencing false contraction till I gave birth and I was tired of the whole journey, my Edd was on 21st and 20th of December and I passed the two Edd's and no baby. On 22nd, I was encouraged to go for induction and I was told that it is a painful process. I sha went alone in the afternoon because my husband happen to have an important work that cannot be postponed. The procedure was done around past 2pm and I gave birth 10:21pm with plenty drama and tears. I thank God Almighty for taking me through pregnancy and childbirth and for giving me the grace to be a mother. Help me like my birth story oooo, my baby will be 3months on Monday 22nd. @zaynie |
[quote author=HaywhyA post=99736388]Please anyone who has been induced for labour should tell me how it went, I would like to know if it was more painful than when labour starts naturally. Please tell me biko I was induced for my baby and being a ftm I don't know maybe natural labour is more painful o since I have only one baby for nao. But I discovered that the pain was back to back with no rest in between. What actually helped was that determination that pain is pain either natural or induced and I thank God that my labour is short ( a little more than an hour or thereabout sha). Just prepare your mind and the prayerful, you will come out victorious |
