Foreign AffairsRe: Strait Of Hormuz: Six US Allies Back Plans To Secure Passage Of Oil Vessels by kushme: 9:30pm On Mar 19

Talk is cheap ........ let's wait to see who will bell the cat. Iran is waiting too. Trump said he would ...then he begged for help ... when help was refused he said he wasn't serious ...was only testing to see who will support. In all of this .... still claiming all Iran forces have been obliterated.... naval vessels at the bottom of the water ....the US has no naval vessel in the area ...even the almighty aircraft carriers have steamed away to the high seas for safety. The US will be a spectator .
Hello sir.

Okay, now i see. Thanks

Brendaniel:
I've refused to talk about this war for certain reasons, but there is something I have noticed which a lot of people have taken to be normal in this war which is:

It looks like most people(especially Iranian supporters) have taken it to be normal for Iran to attack civilians and civilian facilities of other countries while it is an atrocity for other countries to the same to it.

For instance, this is UAE, over 140 civilians were injured, no one says anything, the Iranian supporters will come here to cheer it as victory with justification, where these people in any military facility ? No!

Now reverse the same scenario for Iran and watch most people scream of injustice especially Iranian supporters.

I've refused to involve my discussion in this war but this is getting very obvious.
Please, can someone explain to me why Iran is firing missiles into UAE? Cos, i want to believe that the 140 injured are not all close to the US base there.

Absolutely. .....and make sure you give good grades only. ... or you'll have a problem with the Principal . And we wonder why most local certificates and degrees are worthless beyond our borders
cheesy Exactly, not funny though. The failure is much but you already know the level, giving fiat marks just make up for the pass mark.

I've been in the system for more than 5 years now and I can testify that all the points raised by the OP are valid..

1.Your progress or your growth is on you ...not the proprietor. If he's interested in your growth it is for his benefit ...not yours.

2. You should figure out your career path and work towards it. As in opening your own school. Keep your creativ ideas to yourself. ..establish a reputation at the school ... so when you're ready to start your own ... it will be easy to lure pupils.

3.If you follow 2 ... 3 cannot happen.

4. The school set the behaviour standard of the pupils. Bad behaviour ... it's on the school. Children are not disciplined because of f ar the parent may pull the child and that would be less money. The bottom line of such chools is money over everything ...number of pupils is all that matter....whether they behave or learn doesn't matter.

5. As a teacher you have a better chance to meet the people you want to meet . Parents are in all walks of life and you can make connections through them. Emeka's father is a Bank manager .. and you want to get into banking ...do you apply for a job like thousands of others?...or you connect through the father?
Reading this thread while trekking to work(school) with no shishi in my pocket. I am currently marking over 400 mathematics scripts.. And next term, i know it would be more than that, reason, they admit pupils/students like water. Its all about the money for the owner.

Foreign AffairsRe: World War III Could Kill Over 500 Million People – Peacepro by kushme: 7:00pm On Mar 15
Dogalmighty17:
Few people seem to be aware of this but the Bible foretells a global war that will see over 2 billion people die. Revelations 9:18 is explicit on this.

Revelations 9:13-15 mentions that at the sound of the 6th trumpet, the demons in charge of the Euphrates river will be released. Why were these demons locked up in the bottomless pit in the first place? Because God considered them too terrible and wicked than the devil himself. Satan does not control them. Among these demons are Appolyon, Abandon, Asmodee, Ariel and more. These are some of the demons in charge of the Euphrates.

Now what countries does the Euphrates river pass through? Iraq, Syria, Turkey and Iran. What do these countries have in common? An active Kurdish population. What do the Kurds want? A country of their own and who has Donald Trump being arming to fight against Iran? The Kurds. None of the countries I just mentioned will sit back and watch the happen. Revelations 9:16 mentions the exact number of soldiers the military coalition that will come together to fight this war is. 200 million strong. Never before in history have nations been able to put together such a number of troops but as at today, all the countries that can make this number possible, are aligned with Iran and Russia. China, India and Russia itself will make up huge numbers of this army.

China is already providing Iran with satellite aided coordinates to properly carry out its strikes, Russia is providing them with drones. US forces will soon be physically on ground in Iran, Iran will not hold back on striking them. There is a mad man in the whitehouse. This thing will definitely escalate.

But what I find most interesting is that all the countries listed in Ezekiel 38 are Russian allies now. These are countries that will attack Israel very soon. Israel will do something so hideous and outrageous that the rest of the world will sit back and watch as the countries mentioned in Ezekiel 38 move to wipe them out. Right now, both bases of republicans and democratic voters in the US are sick and tired of Israel. There is a huge and growing anti-Israel sentiment spreading across the US right now. Donald Trump will not be in office forever and when the countries of Ezekiel 38 move to attack Israel, the US will choose not to be involved.

The Bible can be anything but it is never wrong.
To the bold, so we should be watchful if we are alive to witness the attacks on Israel from the countries of Ezekiel 38. Before things like these would happen, you would see the united states signing neutrality pacts with the Ezekiel 38 countries...

TravelRe: My Candid Advice To Young Nigerians Who Want To Japa by kushme: 12:23pm On Mar 01
Rapmoney:
Lately, I have been seeing different threads online created solely to discourage young Nigerians from travelling abroad. One particular thing common among these posts is how the writers unrealistically make oppornities in Nigeria seem equal or even greater to those that abound in Europe, America, Canada, or Australia. That is very ridiculous. We are not blind. We know the current state of Nigeria - from epileptic power supply, hyper inflation, to monster insecurity. I saw a video where a young youth corp member was being tortured by bandits in the north as if we were living in the 1720s. Until now, the authorities and security agencies have not made any statement on it. Why would they? It is 'normal' in Nigeria.

Last year, I travelled to a state in the Niger Delta Region for a project. An entire local government area has not seen light for donkey years. In some parts of the state, people do not use electricity up to 10 minutes in a day. Then, you have remote workers in these places. You have artisans who need electricity for their business. These people spend hell on purchasing fuel, and by the end of the day, their profits cannot even make them have access to a decent life. Tomorrow, when their business crumbles, you call them 'lazy people'.

As a young Nigerian, if you have the means to travel to access better opportunities, DO NOT ALLOW anyone to discourage you. Some of these people who try to discourage you have family members abroad who have established businesses for them here. Some of them might even be living abroad, but you do not know that. Some are beneficiaries of the failed systems and institutions in Nigeria. If your country was okay, why are the children of your leaders living in developed countries? Shouldn't this country be good for them instead?

Countries that have thriving economies do not even have citizens who discourage their fellow citizens from travelling, talk more of a country that has failing systems and institutions.

How does another man's decision to travel affect your own life? The decision to travel for greener pastures, better social amenities, and guaranteed security is a personal thing, and should not give other people headache. Why you dey swallow panadol for another man headache?

You dey Nigeria dey earn 40k as a private school teacher, and you dey allow another man wey dey Sweden dey earn millions with better security and healthcare to brainwash you. You go die poor ooo! Nor go find scholarships or sell family land. Dey there.
Dem don increase 10k on top my own, it is now 50k.
Thanks for the update.

To be honest, I would not say that, I am a member in good standing of thr College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultant of Canada and my job involves moving people to Canada from all over the world even while living in Nigeria. Moving to Canada changed my life ad a person who came from a very poor background, the experience and connection I got from living in Canada, I couldn't have gotten it if I had stayed back in Nigeria.

My advice would be, get your visa and move to Canada if you could, while in Canada, get your PR and Citizenship. Get an education or business that allows you to return back to Nigeria and work in Canada right from Nigeria.

I got everything my first six years in Canada and shoyluld not have stayed over a decade.
Thanks for this apt reply.

I relocated in August last year, I and my family are enjoying Nigeria and the biggest regrets is not relocating like four years ago. It has been a positive experience here in Lagos so far.
What would be your advice if one's plan is to relocate to canada to seek opportunity, knowing that nothing is working for the person here in nigeria? Would you say, if that person by miracle could raise the travel money, should channel the money else where?

Just look as how they hung the Aks, they know the power behind it. They have witnessed how the police and army had used these weapons carelessly to terrorize citizens. They got theirs and doing the same. It is now left for the army and police to face them, weapon for weapon, fire for fire while leaving unarmed people alone.
