Romance / Re: Guys, Be Honest, Can You Send Your Girlfriend Half Of Your Salary? by kushme: 1:03pm On May 21 |
I don't really know why relationship is so monetized but I believe one should be able to help when necessary and the resources are available. Giving her half of your salary, na you know why sha but I am not a supporter of money for hand, back for ground kind of relationship or monthly salary just because of say we dey inside relationship. Could you believe that a guy I called a friend asked the female in my life for a date and told her not to tell me, she told me,anyway. I said, girl, go on the date, listen to whatever he has to say. Funny enough, I was at the same location he took her to(just coincidence, I was there before them). He was angry with her for telling me about the date... I went to their table, greeted him then left.. To me,she did the right thing (telling me). Had it been I caught Dem, she for explain tire. Though, I would see it as something the guy has succeeded in achieving. Putting asunder... This same friend called her after a week and sent her money, she said she never asked for it. Say, Guy man, just called her and asked her to send her account.... I was a bit angry though, for her telling me after some days. Why this ranting. Two days ago, my lady called and said she isn't supposed to be asking me for money, I should always know that I am supposed to send her money without her asking for it. What came to my mind immediately, was the seed that my friend like many guys out there, are sowing in the minds of females. One even told her, he would refund her house rent and get a well paying job if she would agree to be his girlfriend. All for Fvcxxkz sake, men sha. 5 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: ’40’ Shot Dead As Bandits Sack Plateau Community by kushme: 11:35am On May 21 |
Saao: Like you said; it is a normal way of life and sadly, would continue to be, regardless of any prominent persons getting involved. See,Alex barde was prominent and a 4 star, he got killed and nothing changed, other prominent politicians, too. I called Alex's name cos he was a top security guy. You know Nigerians love and hate security personnel at the same cos they can kick civilians buttts at any time while they'd still praise them. Just see this case, over 40 persons were killed while waiting for the calvary to come to their rescue. Till now no ans or physical presence of the calvary(An armed squad that will inflict pain/damage on the invaders)... We the people need to change the narrative not the prominent persons. 2 Likes |
Foreign Affairs / Re: ICC Court Was Built For Africa And Putin, Not West - ICC Judge Tells CNN (Video) by kushme: 10:46am On May 21 |
magoo10: If you've listened to the confession of John Perkins, an Economic Hitman(EHM), you will understand that the West had been the enabler of corrupt leaderships in developing and underdeveloped countries. They know the poor, timid and ignorant Africans (predominant people) can't come together to do shittt to their leaders, so, they formed ICC to make scapegoats of corrupt african leaders who don't corporate with them, just, so that they could cover their Ill contributions to the mess we struggle with daily in Africa. Until we wake up as a continent and a race, seek wisdom and do the right thing as black people, the continent isn't going to change that much for better. |

Crime / Re: Suicide by kushme: 11:52pm On May 18 |
Why na? If you believe you were born, then you should know that one day you shall die. Again, I need to know that what comes in between birth and death is what we call life. And in life there's two sides, one dark, one light... Whatever decision you take has its ups and downs. So, just experience both the pleasure and the pain to understand the value of each. Nobody can always be happy or always sad, everyone dey experience both situations. What could really be the problem, is it poverty, steady criticism of your achievements or outward looks, the loss of love of someone, ill health or something? |

obaidan: The result of; I love my wife and I can do anything for her placed him in this condition. Reason I quoted your words on "diluting common sense with wokeness". That's the issue. Even sending your biological kids to school in order to depend on them some day is risky, too. I believe, we should send our kids to school so that they can depend on and be useful to themselves as individuals in the future. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Kencyl: What are you saying? Even if the man had committed crime like you just concluded, should he be subjected to this treatment? For goodness sake, that man has no weapon on him. They were supposed to, restrain him(3 vs 1), by handcuffing him and forcing him into the van. For crying out loud, they naked the man like the mob would do, one was touching his balls. So, who would help to find them and summon them to Abj? My own is, they need act like humans while carrying out their job functions whether someone or no one is watching.. |
Crime / Re: Policemen Strip, Beat, & Grope A Man With Sticks In Viral Video by kushme: 3:26pm On May 08 |
. Which kind of humiliation be dis? Dirty police!!! They try to make you miserable like them. Even when you avoid them, they randomly look for people(not necessarily the suspect) just to extort, humiliate, abuse and even kill!! Wicked souls like the devil who goes around roaring and looking for whom to devour. What can we do about this? Cos, many average law abiding citizens would face same fate as this guy, it is just a matter of time, so unfortunate. This is sad mehn. My sympathy and empathy to the man. 48 Likes 3 Shares |

Another problem wey dey tiring na the people supporting them even if they make anti-people policy, cos of na my tribes man mentality. It takes us back to square 1. bekpo: I think you're one of the persons who had discouraged the use of Soldiers here. Many commenters suggested she should call same soldiers some of us do complain about their damn presence/affairs in civilian businesses. It goes to tell you the average mind of a Nigerian, and how convenient it would be for them if they are the ones using the soldiers unlawfully. With the deep presence of soldiers bases in many communities and always all up in people's affairs, the average Nigerian can't even differentiate the job of a soldier from a that of a police (they both wear uniforms, carry guns, beat people at random, kill people, however one is more powerful). Well, you can't blame them, completely, cos the average soldier don't even know his/her job descriptions!!! Soldiers are like bitchessssss, they like seeking attention all the time. 1 Like |

Business / Re: Naira Depreciates To ₦1,300/$ In Official Market by kushme: 9:51am On Apr 24 |
StOla: You know, I used to think like, how can a currency exchange be appreciating downward and depreciating upward. Both sound oxymoron. I later got to understand that, a currency pair has the Base currency and quote or counter currency , for example like USD/NGN, the USD is the base while the NGN the quote currency. So when making reference to appreciating and depreciating of currencies, the Base currency is the one mostly quoted. e.g The USD/NGN appreciated, meaning investors bought USD and Sold NGN, an upward trend on the chart or The USD/NGN depreciated, so to say that, investors sold USD and bought NGN, a downward trend on the chart, making the quote currency stronger(technically appreciate, which makes it correct to say appreciate downward ). You see, it would be easier to just Keep It So Simple(KISS), if we want large audience to read our notes and understand, especially if the general public is the target. Something like the Dollar is down against the Nigerian Naira or some simple ways to put it... |
Crime / Re: How 2 Nigerian Army F!ght$ & $tàbb£d Each Other In A Market by kushme: 9:43am On Apr 18 |
In all they do, they should stay in their barracks and concentrate on external security. Leave police work for police and bloody civilians alone! If only they know their job functions, I doubt they'll be fighting ill trained terrorists, bandits and the rest, internally! Local conflicts destroy the small livelihood people are managing. Throwing bomb in your own land while feeling fly. One can't even explore the beauty of the rainforest or the Savannah, cos it's either the non state actors kidnap or kill you, or the state actors tag you a terrorist's informant. |

Hmmm, this case. Girl would have graduated university by now. Say no to hard drugs!!! Unfortunately, hard drugs are easy to get these days with a lot of varieties, unlike the 80s to early 2000s. Now, every groups use it for their operations, from bandits, to Boko Haram, to cultists, to females who take it to stay numb during sexual activity, men in uniform, and politicians who make policies under the influence of drugs. [b]Remember that both were high on drugs!!!. One died, the other is locked up!!!! I don't know, reason I am asking, is the Nigerian system really fighting the drug war |

Hmmm. Trump took out Solemani. Now, IDF took out three.. well, I have my reservations about who should be a general.. That said, Iran and its allies would be feeling defeated already. If generals win wars, then Iran should stop calling their top military brass, generals. My thinking is, would Iran accept this and let it go? Or they have something big coming that would make the west and Israel to suffer for this and that? As far as I can tell, there's serious beef and the time to settle it with weapons will definitely come... Hitler did it after the treaty of Versailles! Balance of power 4 Likes |

22o62021: Then, it is going to get worse. With the current stagflation (slow economic growth, high unemployment and rise in prices) in Nigeria, many unemployed youths, young adults, even mid-adults would be considering a short-term or one time kidnapping deal(s) after watching the social media display of the bandit showing a lot of paper money. We have been seeing stories here, of people staging their own kidnapping, already. 9 Likes 1 Share |
Crime / Re: My Cousin Took Money To Bandits In The Bush by kushme: 10:35am On Mar 27 |
Pinicop: Well, I am not sure, cos no one told me, but what I now know from the cousin's experience is that, the heartless bloodthirsty greedy bandits confidently count millions of ransom money in the middle of the night in Niger State without any disturbance. Millions ohh, they may even miss count and start again... Now, if you believe security agencies know the locations of these bastard bandits in these places, then, why are they not doing that much to reduce it? Are they scared of the ill trained dirty bandits or most of them are benefitting from it, or something else the people don't know? 33 Likes 3 Shares |
