I have a friend who has sickle cell health issues. However you would not know unless he actually tells you. He is not fragile at all (except when the crisis starts obviously) and goes about his normal daily business. In fact, he is more active than a lot of the 'healthy' people I see.

So being SS does not mean you walk around looking like you are about to keel over any second...lol. SS people CAN and DO live a normal life.

2ndly, how many people with a criminal past (I mean serious criminal past) will tell their girlfriends about it (not wife ooo, girlfriend). Or is the girl psychic and should have known about his past.

When we date people, we take them at face value, trust them until we are given a reason not to. The only concern the girl had was that he had slept with one of her friends before (which personally she should not have bothered with him again) but you have to understand that this was probably the first time she had been in love and probably she got persuaded by his sweet tongue. And she was probably still in love with him.

We don't know all the variables anyhow but I really think we should not lay a single blame on her part.

I keep repeating...even if all was well and good ...NO still means NO.

Aside from the fact that the society is sick, I think Promise must have been raised in a one-room apartment. He might have been watching when his mother was being laid by his father and Step-father. These and many more are reasons I detest one-room apartment in a face-me-I-face-you yard or compound as they call it.

You know its one thing to worry about the current situation i am going through as i almost lost my job because of this. I have been admitted into the hospital twice its another thing to read an irrelevant comment. Even the same pastor has booked an appointment with me and the girl come sunday so he can clear the air on what he meant. So if you are such a child, i need not to worry about you.
