This is the definition of terrorism as defined by the US federal criminal code. There is no difference between the terror exhibited by Boko haram and that of ND militants.Terror is terror no matter who the culprits are !
guy,ur in the wrong.the aforementioned is not an authoritative text on terrorism.to clear ur doubt, that code admits exception and it exception lies on the fact that as humans,we have and entitled to enjoy our human rights which are categorised into 1st,2nd and 3rd generations rights(see the un charter on human rights 1947.see also the international convention on human rights).the 3rd generation of human rights is recently accepted as such and championed by developing countries like nigeria and it's solidarity rights.it can only be realised through eforts of all the actors in the social scene esp.those affected.this precisely justifies the niger-delta acts.that though, their acts might be seen by pipo lyk u to be that of terrorists, the magic of international law and international humanitarian law would only see such acts as a just fight for liberation fro poverty, good living etc.hw wish i have al the time....i'l love to help u out of this ignorance

You can tell this crap to the illiterates on NL.To me,there is only one definition for terrorrism and both ND militants and Boko Haram have exhibited such traits.Hiding under bullshiit to justify one terror against another is hypocrisy !

Any group that instigates wide civil disturbance/disobedience,races arms against the state, conduct violence of any kind directed at non-combatant targets to achieve a political objective or coerce the government into doing its biddings is a terrorist organization.

Bible in one year:
Matthew 5-7
After toiling all night without catching a single fish, Peter had an encounter with Jesus after which He instructed him to make another attempt. Peter gave all the reasons that made it unreasonable to obey that command but he obeyed because the instruction came from Jesus (Luke 5:2-5). This is another indicator of the committed: the committed obeys Jesus unquestionably. The reason many find it difficult to obey the Lord promptly is because they harbour unbelief somewhere in their heart. If you believe in the Lord and you have known Him to a point, you would know that every instruction, suggestion, command, dictate or advice that comes from Him should be treated the same way as a commandment that must be obeyed speedily. It you take pride in asking why you should do whatever He tells you, it is because you lack commitment. Mary the mother of Jesus had learnt this hence she could tell the servants at the marriage feast in Cana of Galilee not to question whatever instructions the Lord gave them (John 2:5). Obeying Jesus without questioning is a height of faith and commitment which is hinged on the truth that the Lord can never lead you astray.
Besides this, you can tell a fellow who is committed by what he or she does with his or her possessions. If you are committed to the Lord, you will know that all you have, including your life now belongs to God. So if the Lord asks for anything that is yours, you will happily release it to Him. The committed believer honours God with everything he or she has (Proverbs 3:9). The committed pays tithe and offering in obedience to Malachi 3:8-12. He brings the tithe and offering joyfully to God, seeing it as a great privilege to do so. If you are still struggling to pay your tithes, it simply shows that your commitment to the Lord is questionable. Having considered so many areas of commitment, can you truly say now that you are committed?

Yes it was. People mis-interpret state of emergency to mean suspension of the governor, but that's not what it means. State of emergency means suspending some fundamental rights that are enshrined in the constitution and additional emergency funding.

What this means in practice is that the military can detain citizens for more than 48hrs without charging them to court, military commanders can declare curfews (usually the preserve of the state governors), the national assembly can divert funds meant for the affected states and use those funds to pay for the operation, etc. The government can carry out all these actions without the fear that affected people will go to court for the enforcement of their fundamental rights as enshrined in the constitution.
you know something. To fortify this,i take the liberty to add by saying that,in accordance with the provision of section 16 of the 1999 nigerian constitution as amended, the president lacks the power to suspend governors of nigeria be it in pursuance to state of emergency or otherwise

[quote author=mayorall]An education consultant, Mr oludotun shodunke, has given jamb 7 days ultimatum to release some scripts for re-marking or face court action.
Shodunke wants to prove that the examination body failed many candidates because the examination question allegedly leaked.
In an interview with The nation , Shodunke who led some. Candidates protest , the mass failure In the utme In maryland, Lagos, last Thursday, queried the jamb leadership led by prof. Dibu Ojerinde In conducting d examination.
He stated that most of the students were failed by d body cos of d rumour that paper leaked
If paper leaked, the right thing is for the body to have cancelled d exercise. And fixed another day 4 it. You can not punish students with what I called "monumental failure" cos d examination paper leaked.. Leakage of examination paper cannot be blamed on the students, "he said".

first of all,may i acknowledg my appreciation to dis man's courage.be that as it may,i would like him to knw that one thing is to go to court and another,is to win the case.he should note further that cases are not decided in courts of law on d basis of sentiment or speculations which are no business of the law both on relevant facts.further,it doesn't lie in your place to know whether or not you would win a particular case as it's evry lawyer's aim in representing a client.it obvious the man is speaking out of ignorance.o ignorance is kind
