Not to detract from the topic sha. The op lives in ibadan and y'all all know how much land could cost there. Let the op come try this same stunt in Abuja or Lagos. If yours a builder you'll know putting up the structure isn't the issue. Land is the most expensive part. This is a bungalow and you don't have to break the bank to do that. |

akinsadeez: very interesting thread. The back and forth is enlightening. The only thing I can say is; if everyone were to be an entrepreneur who will work for the entrepreneurs and move their businesses forward. Every entrepreneur needs workers since not all businesses are one man businesses. Even every one man business prays to expand to a point when he/she can start to employ people. There are many reasons why people work and it isn't always limited to salary. As a lawyer, by training and law I am allowed to open my own chamber immediately I am called to the bar. However in my opinion I need to really garner the experience of practice in a less pressurized environment until I have acquired the necessary skills and contacts to stand on my own and open my own chamber. This means that salary is not the main consideration making me work in the chamber where I am working, rather experience and the contacts I am building day by day is more paramount. Working in an organization is not tantamount to slavery. The examples you've given about time for break and others are normal in working/office environment. Any entrepreneur who wants to make it also has to impose discipline on himself. Besides there are entrepreneurs who come to office before the workers and even hardly go on break. they even work harder than the workers you call slaves. In England you are not even called a Barrister the moment you are called to bar. You are required to take pupillage which could run to about three years. Its only in the Nigerian legal system where you'll see such and some funny African countries like Ghana, Kenya. Legal practice in Nigeria is a huge joke. Charge and bail |

wishing all OWE sons n daughters a wonderful OBANGOGO celebrations. Under contract law consideration needs only be sufficient not adequate. So the man could have charged one naira for a thousand questions or a billion naira for 2 questions. Yes fees have to be reasonable however its a contract between two parties who both have the capacity to understand the legal implications of what theyre going into |

oziegbe2015: the guy is over hyped to u, thank God you even admitted he is hyped at all, u are only hyped when u do something. If u even know the bottle necks at all it takes to govern lagos as well as the starving of funds from fg, for fashola to succed u would call him messiah if u live in lagos. Lagos is even more complex than ruling nigeria from ur aso rock palour. What has gej done to even warrant the word hype talkless of overhype bla bla. Is Lagos as complex as New York or even London? Have you been to Hong Kong? Do you have any idea how complex these places are? With the cash coming into Lagos then Fashola has underachieved. Lease Lagos to London to manage and give say five to ten years and check out Lagos and you'll know that Fashola is a learner and a glorified village champion |

CFCfan: If the police arrest the offenders, and subsequently prosecute them before a court, the lawyers for the defendants could pray the court to declare the particular provision of the Electoral Act, limiting campaign donations, as unconstitutional. The lawyers could cite the constitutional provisions guaranteeing freedom of speech to every Nigerian. Campaign donations are certainly a form of speech. This guy must be drunk. When did donations to a party equal freedom of speech? You think everyone here is a dunce? That section of the constitution cannot be declared null and void by any court. You know nothing about law so shut the crap. And even if u happened to be a lawyer you must b a quack |

emiye: What is the biggy about finishing O levels @ 14 years?
If he gained admission to the secondary school @ 10 years .Class 1 to class 5 10-11-12-13-14yrs.
BTW, i had my olevels @ dat age, though i finished a year after. times are different . even the genius himself Wole Soyinka finished his O'levels at 16 and his HSC at 18. He got into GCI in Ibadan at 12. That was 1978. This is 2014. Truth is most people at that time who even finished early in the 70's graduated at age 21 plus. The Schools inspectors then were very strict and could visit your school without notice. These days its possible since the inspectors solicit bribes on a daily basis Akinwande Oluwole "Wole" Soyinka (Yoruba: Oluwo̩lé S̩óyinká, pronounced "Shoyinka"; born 13 July 1934) is a Nigerian playwright and poet. He was awarded the 1986 Nobel Prize in Literature,[1] the first African to be so honored. After finishing his course at Government College in 1952, he began studies at University College in Ibadan (1952–54), affiliated with the University of London. He studied English literature, Greek, and Western history. In the year 1953–54, his second and last at University College, Ibadan, Soyinka began work on "Keffi's Birthday Treat", a short radio play for Nigerian Broadcasting Service that was broadcast in July 1954 |

I noticed that wenever i call, she's not happy. we quarrel about everything from wer she is to wat is happeing there.Today, she finally got posted to a nice place of PPA and I was happy for her. When i called her, her call was on call waiting OVer 10missed calls she didn't pick.

Psquare game over album sold 8million copies worldwide, their danger album sold 9million copies worldwide, please how many artiste in the US sell 4million copies of album.. these guys are rich! They bought a house in the US for N434m. Which is an equivalent of $3m.. now answer this question, if you are worth less than $10m, would i buy a house for almost half of your networth? Does that make any sense to you?
You are still a kid in factual analysis.. so you my friend needs to shut your trash shows how shallow you are. how much does an album cost in nigeria? 150 naira just less than a us dollar. an album in the us cost about 13 us dollars. so don't be so daaaft. and most of those so called cds in nigeria which they claim to have sold were probably sold by pirates. do they get the cash? no. they make money from endorsements, and side businesses. how does that make them worth billions of naira? did glo tell you tell signed dbanj for a billion naira? |
