David too should be careful and not get caught in up in controversies like this. The only thing that just caught my attention in the video was when his dad said samples for DNA PATERNITY TESTS are sent to South Africa. It's very shameful and pathetic! As big as Nigeria is with thousands of professors and scientists. Even with numerous hospitals and research institutes, we can't have a fully functional places for ORDINARY DNA PATERNITY TESTS!? |
Even seun started it Na pride and lack of maturity cause wiz own... And he even have the man tattooed on his body permanently. Is that not shameless? |
Nigeria keeps receiving Aids, Grants, Scholarships, International support in the name of development, science, and public good. Yet year after year, the same story repeats itself. These funds are looted, misused, and diverted for personal comfort, while the country remains stuck exactly where it was. I watched a video yesterday of Davido’s father explaining how DNA samples are still being sent to South Africa just to carry out a simple paternity test. That statement should shake us. It should embarrass us. How does a country of over 200 million people, blessed with thousands of professors, scientists, medical laboratory scientists, technologists, cell biologists, and geneticists, still lack a functional, local center for routine DNA paternity testing? Why must samples leave the country for something so basic? This is not about lack of knowledge. It is not about lack of manpower. It is not even about lack of money. University lecturers and researchers receive grants worth hundreds of thousands, sometimes millions of dollars. Yet at the end of the project cycle, there is often little or nothing to show. No lasting infrastructure. No functional labs. No systems that outlive the grant itself. Just new cars, new houses, and personal upgrades disguised as “research progress.” The truth is painful but simple: A modest, fully functional DNA paternity testing laboratory does not cost more than $100,000 to $200,000. That is all. And yet, this is something a country with countless hospitals, universities, and research institutes still cannot provide for its people. This is not just shameful. It is tragic. It is a betrayal of public trust. And it is a direct insult to the many capable professionals whose skills are wasted by corruption and poor leadership. What is truly pathetic is not that Nigeria lacks capacity, but that it repeatedly chooses not to build it. We are in 2026!!! and we still lack almost ALL basic amenities, even ordinary electricity is still not stable! |
Sad Tragic death RIP to the departed |

Since the government is irresponsible and they can't hold them accountable... |
It's pathetic. If we checked now, the changes and increment in workers salaries since that 2016 is not up to 100% on an average across board. The country is sinking... |

Chienex24:You're only done with yourself. |
You have a point there... We have perverts too in the hospitals and medical fields and we've seen and heard many stories... Many female patients feel uncomfortable being examined by male doctors, especially during intimate or sensitive procedures. This concern deserves to be taken seriously. Some doctors you even see coming around during situations like this may have no business being around there. Some might just be taken advantage of the patient or using them learn... Hospitals employ both male and female doctors across different specialties, yet in many settings, male doctors are often the ones conducting examinations on adult female patients, including married women. For some patients, this can cause distress or discomfort. It doesn't make sense at all. Every patient has the right to consent to who examines them. If you are a female patient and you are not comfortable being attended to by a male doctor, you are entitled to request a female doctor where one is available. This is a legitimate and reasonable request. If your concern is dismissed and the situation is not an emergency, you also have the right to seek care at another hospital that respects your comfort and dignity. Patient care should always prioritize professionalism, consent, and respect for personal boundaries. Personally as a male, I can never allow a female doctor to conduct certain examinations on me, unless in a situation where I'm unconscious or it's a life and death situation. |
