I'm happy most of us here are good people learning and making meaningful contributions.
However, I'm disappointed that some here are very bad fraudsters. I dropped my email address in a bid to have private discussion with Telim on a different issue he seems to be proficient on and before one could say JackRobinson a caused fellow had used it to put up a scam car advert on OLX claiming he has 1998 sienna bus for sale at lagos badagry for 500k.
I've done everything to alert the olx team to no avail and it seems they encourage scamming by making it impossible to be reached for any report by even registered clients.
You the scammer, may God punish you severely for attempting to dupe innocent Nigerians of their hard earned cash.
I've been scammed before and i know how it pains. You are caused!!!!!.

Quite unfortunate.
Glad you have a foresight on the ways of "Bad Market Syndrom".
I am NO Magician, but PM me, if its what i can solve for you, I will greatly help you out.

If you still have the "Expired" MRP Passport, that and your Birth Certificate should be enough. In my Opinion.

But again it depends on the Country you are in.... Nigerian Embassies operate differently (which is WRONG)... lool but remember that everyone is a KING in their small office.

Can anyone help me with getting a new NG passport.?. I had one as a child and expired before my 16 birthday.. But that was over 2 decades ago.. I have been using my other nationality passport and forgot about NG passport or return to NG...
I do not know the passport number and do not have the old passport..
I want to apply for a new passport.. But all i have is my foriegn birth certificate to show... Its shows my fathers name and he is Nigerian by birth and also his father and so on.. I dont have a birth certificate of my father.. All i have is my birth certificate from birth overseas, but it has my fathers name on it as well as my name.. They are all nigerian names... I schooled in Nigeria from 3rd year Primary to 4th year secondary, and i am concerned if the schools keep those records from as long ago as 1983-1990? Will those school records be of any use to prove my connection to Nigeria? Or will birth certificate alone be enough? Maybe they will find my old youth passport on file by my name? I cannot apply for renewal online because i dont know the number to the passport..
I think my best option is to apply for new... Any help or insight will be appreciated. Maybe one day i will come to NG with foriegn passport and NG visa, then try all avenues to secure NG passport while there...

What you HAD from my understanding is the old MRP Passport.
YOu can apply for a NEW ePassport.

Depending on your location, the document you are required to provide would differ.
Travel / Re: Nigerian Passport For An Infant by lactemps(m): 6:02pm On Mar 23, 2015
The Nigerian ePassport is a Biometric Passport, for children, they are ONLY required to be PRESENT at the Passport Capture process, because their picture would be taken LIVE.

Nigerian Passport is not given by Proxy.

While Children from 6 years old and Adults have to submit their Bio-details (Finger prints etc)

RUN Far away from Anyone who offers to do your Baby's NIGERIAN EPassport by proxy!!!

This is my 2 Cents.

I could be possible, but to avoid any untold wahala, it might be better to email them and request for a New Date.

I am sure their Immigration Department is a bit 21st Century compliant in terms of "communication"

I Sincerely Sought For Advise From Any Immigration Official Here. I've Just Returned From The Calabar Office Of NIS Were I Had To Inquire Acquisition Of Nigerian Passport. The Official I Met Told Me That The Official Rate Now Stands At N27000. This Is Contrary To Information I Had From My Brother In Lagos Who Told Me It's N18000. My Questions Are:

1. Are The Charges Different Based On State Of Application?

2. Is The Official Rate N27000 Or N18000?

3. What's Wrong With Processing And Making Payment Online? (in this case, I couldn't proceed pass the first page of the application as there were no values to fill in the height column).

I'd Be Most Grateful If These Questions Are Answered As They'd Be Helpful In My Application In The Course Of The Week.

If I am right, the different prices you got would be for 32 Pages and 64 Pages of the ePassport.

The process of making Payment Online is far easier for Nigerians in Nigeria to make payment because you co do so through a Bank in Nigeria, rather than Nigerians Abroad who find it extremely difficult to make the payments due to some restrictions placed on the usage of Cards online.

On the Issue of Height on the Form, the place where you have to input the height pops out, so you can either put height in CM (175, 185) or in Meters (1.7m) etc. after inputting the values, you the click on @Update@ button.

I hope this helps.

Actually, you don't need a visa to come to Nigeria if you have a british passport. With British passport, you don't need visa for over 68 countries, especially those common wealth members. You just walk into an airport with your passport and buy a flight ticket to where you're going to.

Ever wonder why Mikel had to wait for his British passport? Its a big deal, believe me!

Waooooo!!! This is VERY MISLEADING!!
You NEED a Visa to come to Nigeria on a British Passport.
Please check the Nigerian Embassy in your Country of Domicile for the Visa Requirements. Do not travel to Nigeria without a VISA, you would not be happy on what will happen to you.

Check the VISA Requirements before you embark on your Journey.

You can either use an agent for the visa or u can do the application yourself using the USPS like u did the US passport. I am presently not using any agent for mine.

The ONLY problem you might have is on Making ONLINE Payment for your Child's ePassport Application, but this Article can help you overcome that.

Suffice to say that having Details of the requirements will lessen your burden.

There's actually visa on arrival for non Nigerian passport holders. I recall that on arrival, I was asked if I have a visa for my baby that if I wanted to get it I should go to a section in the airport. Typically, US citizens can get on a plane almost anywhere without a visa, just passport while immigration issues or visas are sorted at entry. This applies to newborns also

Yes there is such program as Visa on Arrival, but it is majorly for BUSINESS Persons and INVESTORS who travel a lot, and are coming for Investment in the Country.

Religion / Nigerian Favoured For Next Catholic Pope by lactemps(m): 1:11pm On Feb 12, 2013
Now that there is a vacancy in the Vatican, many people both Catholics and other faiths are now tipping the Roman Catholic Church to appoint its first black Pope.

Is this going to be a dream come through for Africa and the “Black Race?” The two most prominent Cardinals in the Vatican are from Nigeria and Ghana.

Cardinal Peter Turkson, 64, of Ghana and Cardinal Francis Arinze, 80, of Nigeria.

If there is to be a “Black Pope” in the Vatican by Easter, who would be your choice?
Sports / Stephen Keshi, Supper Eagles And AFCON 2013 by lactemps(m): 1:00pm On Feb 12, 2013
After 19 years of waiting, the Super Eagles of Nigeria won the African Cup of Nations for the 3rd time. Winning the trophy for the third time is not the issue here; the issue is the manner in which they won it. Prior to the tournament, the team, a young team indeed, being tinkered together by Stephen Keshi was not given any chance of landing the trophy.

Now, Keshi was widely criticized for his selection tactics. He was crucified for selecting some home boys. Some of us sentenced him to death when he left out some pseudo star players like Odewingie, Obafemi Martins and Taye Taiwo. But the Big Boss stood his ground. Even the NFF that hired him to do a job were restless as they queried his every decision. Alas, the young man qualified for the Nations’ cup with his choice players.

What are your Opinions of Keshi and his Coaching Style?
Food / Re: Coconut With Seed! I Saw It Today, Any Explanation? (pics) by lactemps(m): 8:53pm On Dec 01, 2012
There is a possibility of that happening. The Coconut either overstayed on the tree or when it was cut off.
There may be little or no water in it, 'cos the water has been used to 'initiate' the re-growing process.

Religion / Dealing With Bitterness by lactemps(m): 4:33am On Aug 30, 2012
The experiences you must have passed through on your voyage called life may be enough to put you off the mark of even going through some processes in life once again, but when you look back to how far you have come and how well you have recovered from these set-backs, it makes your heart strong.
The question(s) you may ask: How can you deal with Bitterness as a Result of Painful Experiences?

This is more like a cross btw mobile browser mod and desktop Mod.
ie the visual interface looks much like a mobile browser hook/mod. Thus making it faster to load etc on pc and mobile browsers, but with limited functionality.

Re-Issuance of e-passport can ONLY be Authourised from ABUJA, if anyone is telling you otherwise Beware that Nigeria has gone global, PLS dont hand your money to them.

If you loose your Passport, just report to your nearest Nigerian Embassy or the Nigerian Immigration Service in your locality. Dont waste your money going through any AGENT.

If you are having problems filling the E-passport Application form or Guarantors form, please follow this step by stem instructions:

Business / Re: Which Way Is The Simplest Way To Make Money Online? by lactemps(m): 9:38am On Jun 25, 2011
I once saw someone that had a fast growing Forum/page on Facebook, and approached him and asked if we could go on partnership (where I provide a full forum website based on the theme of the page, and make him the Admin and we can move the FB page to the website)

My aim was to teach him how to make money and spend his time wisely. All he had to do was to moderate the site (not just him, but other high profile moderators that I have come to know in the course of my business) I offered him ways of making money on a platter of Gold and when I finished the site, he became reluctant, that he wanted FULL control of the site, which I laid the terms and condition on the first date of the partnership.

The site is fully monitised, so I wanted to help him also get a part of the money, while helping him secure an account with the sites monitisation partners etc.

Now is this a case of stupidity or ignorance? He helps FB make lots of money because of the number of visitors to the site.

Needless to add that the site is doing absolutely great, and recking in revenue without the FB page being moved to the site. So who is loosing?
