I'm working on setting up an article directory where these bloggers can come around and pick up articles and load up their bloggs. It will enhance bloggs at least, giving better contents to visitors. The next question now is, "will they value it?"

Two years on, am trying to find the link to the site as promised, or probably I missed it.
Please could you kindly let me have the links.

Gosh I wish am in Niaja, I would have been visiting 20 Net Cafes a day, thats close to about £50 a week for my sites. Lol just a tot.

Can I serve Adsense the same day I launch my website?

You can "serve" or better have adsense ads display in your website at any time, as far as the site and its contents MEETS the Google Adsense Policy.
Once you have an Active Account, you can use it anywhere as far as the above is in order.

@GodMother, I asked that you give a link to where you reported the case to Google Adsense Forum, so that it might be chased (expedite action) at least the Adsense TCs or the Pros would have been notified of it. But all the same, since you have requested for stoppage and reissue (which by the way takes about 60days after the date of 1st issue), then be rest assured that you will get it.

Another thing is that the use of Post Office address is not a guarantee, so its best as you have opted for the secure delivery, it will only cost you a little, but you will be rest assured that you will always get your cheque, cos IT MUST BE SIGNED FOR.

You can do a FRESH installation if the previous one is just very fresh (ie. without contents yet) or download the wordpress file from wordpress.org, unzip & then up load it to your root directory.

Do not be deceived, there is no way you can get your cheque forwarded to email. The cheque can ONLY be sent to the address on your google adsense file, which in 99% of cases, cannot be changes without cancelling your account, or depending on your location, of which I FULLY believe Nigerian addrss does not have that privilege.

Its best to use EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) directly to your nominated and verified Account (Google will send money 2 d account to verify it), or Western Union Money Transfer (If Nigeria is among the ones) if not, its the use of Secured courier service, which is at a cost.

@ Ada, as much as I like your site, I would say that you stand a risk of having your ads account disabled because of lack of Contents.
Its important that you include lots of ORIGINAL contents in all your pages if you want to still have your GA account active, or when you get to your payout threshold, you stand a chance of loosing your account.

In alternative, just take off the ads there. Monetizing sites is a serious thing/hard work, so dont get your own account disabled.

Though I dont really know what your are looking for, as your post NEVER mentioned anything. But I only have the following observations.
If you want people to invest in your farm, at least get a better website. and sort the pictures on your site, cos they are not showing (broken links)

Try to use a better WYSIWYG editor to create a website, or reply here and I might help you get your site up and running (not necessarily charging you for it) but be startled, most people can do things free in this present world, you only need to ask.

That being said, you have to include a physical address, if you want people to take you serious in your business (thats from an INVESTOR's point of view.

Very Simple, if you believe your cheque was stolen, log on to your Adsense Control Panel and request for a new cheque to be issued after 60days or so.

But in the meantime, just go to the Adsense forum, and raise the issue, some of the TC's will flag it for Adsense Pros to rectify the problem. Then its best to either go on Secured mail, or use ETF or Western Union Payment if Naija is included.

Whatever happens, let us have Ur feedback here, and possibly include the link of the question in the Adsense forum.

t seems like you're laughing at your own ignorance and, FYI we (engineers) call it cables not wires - the lay man's term. Also, I would like to know that HSE rule that doesn't permit a Network Engineer to use bare hands to terminate fiber optic cables  , ethernet cables or cables supplying 12-24 volts (which cannot even electrocute even while working with bare hands) from/to field instruments or patch/marshaling/system/network panels  Get your facts right before you come spewing here!

@mojounited, Its a pity that out of you "big knowledge", you think its only "You Engineers" that access this forum, People who have been working in Technical or core Engineering fields for years don't make such noise, its only amateurs that feel they have arrived. If you are trained to chew cables or wires as the case may be, not every one is trained to do so, and nothing stops you from wearing a protective/safety gloves to terminate wires or cables as you want me to address it. Maybe its good you educate yourself on the differences btw Wires and Cables

Just a little EDUCATION about Cables & Wires:
"The wire is the conductor used in electrical instalments. It is usually located inside a cable for easy and safe use."
"A cable contains two or more wires or conductors wrapped together in one jacket."

This is why many cant fit into the filed when they go out of the shores of Nigeria, because of the mentality of "chewing wires" and do everything manually.

Its very imperative that one understands the full content of a post and not just a part of it and quiting out of context.

Well, the day you mature enough to think about marriage, is the day you should make up your mind to "Compromise + readjust" both your feelings, and every other thing about you as a person. By then its no more "I am", but the use of the language "WE" comes to play.

Content is sure the main thing for blogs, but cut down the number of pages displayed.

If you have 1 or 2 pages displayed, it will make a better read, instead of scrolling to 5 pages, it would be more comfortable to scroll to 2 pages and you still get someone to see the ads on your footer.

If am correct, you are "Chimaobi", and with the background of your story, its good to know your roots, and thats what you are trying to preserve.
I'm a bit surprised that your woman does not believe or seems to believe in "Africanism" because even the Oyiboos want their children to have African names, because they are proud to show their roots, no matter their citizenship.

In a birth Cert, there is always a room for 3 to 5 names, so you have to agree with her, on the names to give, and as the FAther, you have 3 slots, while she has 2 slots (though its equal slots, but the surname is yours).

Now on a more serious note, there are many names to suggest, but do to the circumstances, I would say if:
A Girl: Onyinyechi, Kelechi, Ngozichukwu
A Boy: Chukwuma, Chukwuemeka etc

Now depending on your location of which the Child will claim Citizenship, I would suggest one of the names be of that origin, so that he/she would not miss out.

I will make more suggestions as the days go by. & if possible, the month of expected delivery would also be a good means of making a name choice.

This post would have been handy if it were in the early 1960's.
If you are looking for any business, your own web address would be the 1st, so that anyone who goes to it, would have a better 1st impression,  after all, its through the internet forum (Dynamic) that they saw it, and not on the pages of the newspapers (static).

The number one rule in making it on Web development is to showcase your own site, then you dont need your phones to ring, but your email to be flooded with request for quotes. & mind you, your comment page will have lovely replies too.

I think Blogs get BORING when the articles are way TOOOOO Long.

If you can reduce the articles, it would be better, mind you not everyone has the time to scroll for 5 mins just to see what you have down there, and you tend to loose revenue if you have any advert @ d footer.

Anything you need to know about Adsense can be found there.

If at all people can take time out and search for what they are looking for through google, the World will be less of CROOKS tryn 2 sale lies to all.

If you want your site 2 be visited and more advise (As per ADSENSE) given FREE of CHARGE, pls indicate it.

I could not see any ADSENSE Compliant Privacy Policy on your site.
Could you do something about that, cos its very vital to avoid you loosing your ADSENSE Account.

NB: In the Adsense TOS, Privacy Policy is VERY IMPORTANT. so try and add it to ALL your sites.

Search for it on Google, or use my example.

One more thing, PLS NEVER you ALTER the Adsense code, its against the TOS to even change a xter.
