Ladipo too dirty and unorganized. Most traders there make neck breaking profits by cheating their customers. Govt should show concern in regulating their activities to protect innocent citizen. If Ladipo and some other auto market around the country well regulated,incidence of stolen vehicles will be reduced nationwide.

What about Alimosho LGA?. You need to see pple running to work as early as 5.00 am. BIke charge as high as 1000 naira to get to Cele bus stop along Oshodi Apapa Express.
If you work on the island and live at ikotun, Ijegun axis you must leave home before 5am or you get to work late. Getting home na another thing, most of them get home not earlier than 10pm.
I know of pple dat leave home 5am and get back like 10am. It is suicidal taking BRT buses on that route as you won't get to work earlier than 10am.

most accident caused by overinflation not used tyre. FRSC doing nothing to educate the roadside vulcanizer and car owner about the right pressure for their car. Most vulcanizer inflate above 45psi for cars and 60psi for buses. On most brand new chinese made tyre it is clearly written that " never inflate beyond 35psi" some states 40psi.
Most vulcanizer use low quality pressure guage and often use faulty ones.Some of them been in use for over 5yrs. You might end up getting 60psi and above in your tyre due to faulty guage.
Most car owner inflate 40 - 45 psi on their cars when it is clearly written on d car that 30psi. They tell you that manufacturer recommendation not for Nigeria roads

After 2 test,they were trained for close to a month(not sure) and still hold valid ID card which expires 2014.

My I4 camry stop occasionally on motion or when engaged in reverse gear. It stops mostly at bumps but do stop when on lower speed too. Starts immediately I restart it .
The following has been done so far
1. Changed the plug wire and spark plug
2. Changed air filter and fuel filter.
3. Cleaned the throttle body.

I notice the rpm drops instead of rising when AC is switch on. The car still stop with or without the ac on but occurs mostly with d AC on.

Most recent work done on d car is the changing of the bad alternator and was replaced with on with a thinner belt. Could that be the cause?

Will sell off the present engine and replace with the 5S. Talked to a dealer in ladipo auto market who accepted to swap with the present engine after inspecting it. Will add 50k as he valued the present engine as 60km

What's is the car mileage?

Did an engine swap on a Toyota camry 1998. Was told the Japanese model which is cheaper 70k can substitute for d america model engine 5S. After installing the check engine light remain permanently on did not bother before now since the car drives fine and been using it for month with any issue.
Took the car to an auto technician recently to clear the check engine status and he inform me the engine used for replacement had no cam sensor position and nothing could be done. He brought out the sensor from where it was hidden right behind the engine saying i shd drive around with the chk engine status or change engine if i really want it off.

My fear are the roads to drive the trucks thru, driving saloon car along the route plied by these trucks is hell. Cant even think of spending d night at the trailer park close to Lagos in d name of waiting to be called to load goods. Lalai

The market on Oshodi road housing first bank needs lag govt attention. The structures is there and very good. Street traders, access to the market makes nonsense of the place.
Also walking towards Cappa recently cleared early in d morning before 6 and anytime after 10 very dangerous. The structure housing some of the hoodlums was cleared last month but they are still around and deadly.

Sorry ooo.... Where in Oshodi is the market located?, if it is the one nxt to postoffice then the above pic was taken yrs ago. The market well built but highly disorganized presently and highly inacessible. The road linking from oshodi is in a terrible state. The market got no parking space that i know, lot of residential building with shops just before u enter the market, so y will customer bother entering for shopping. Moreso street traders are alway there doing their stuff. I really pity those who bought the shop due to low sale. I just hope that of yaba wont be like that.

Oshodi roads under the local council are in state of total disrepair. A minute drive off Agege motor road by the Nipost (Oshodi rd) you will be shocked.
