paix:You can check at any custom zonal office or port it is cleared from. Some people on nairaland can check for you if you provide your C number. |
Hope Dansuki wont mention winners name? |
I own a W202 C200 CDI. Travelled to and fro Ilorin yesterday with about 40litres diesel. My car presently emits black smoke on hard acceleration and might be consuming more fuel than usual. However, it very difficult getting good mechanics and at times spares to work on modern diesel engines. The mechanics charges are quite high or outrageous in some case. Most issues they got is related to bad diesel damaging the injector nozzles. Imagine a mechanic charging 70k to fix an engine that is sold 70k. I have resolve to start DIY for fixes on nozzles for the car and will acquire the tools soon. With bad nozzles or nozzle rail sensor it very difficult to start, upon starting you can travel anywhere. |
I noticed more Custom Officers have been deployed on some interstate route which were free before now. Road such as Oyo-Ogbomoso and Iwo - Oshogbo road are being manned now. If your Tokunbo car is neat and less than two years better check the custom payment status before embarking on any journey this period. Non payment of custom duties means your car will be impounded, no amount of plea will save such car. If you are lucky they might take bribe which is always outrageous and such bribe won't save you from other custom zonal team. |
No sauce hmmm... Just water |

You come down after the second bridge at the benin bypass. You notice they sell one popular bread at the foot of the bridge. Straight down is Asaba - Onitsha road @oblo what about taking the old road from Onitsha. The federal road from Onitsha used to be bad last time I passed the road January 2015. |

A friend drove pass that road hour before the incident of COAS happened on his way to katsina. He said the road was barricaded and they had to talk their way through. He also confirmed they just started the road block then and were not violent. |
ojinuocheibi:Maybe AlaoAkala and the likes |
If Sanusi is found wanting , he should be dethroned and jailed. No selective justice. |

These are the real suicide bombers... Some stations in Lagos sell in polythene bags as well. |
He started with ANPP as local government chairman NovusHomo: |
Positioning himself to actualize his second term ambition after Ajimobi. Ladoja will win him convincingly any day. AKALA got no single politians groomed by him to Federal level as ex governor,if tinubu was as self centered as he was, there won't be APC for him to run to. AKALA keeps changing party just to actualize his political ambition. |
Lagos State Public Works Corporation been very effective during Ambode tenure. Isolo Jakande Ikotun that various contractors and LSPWC could not fix in a period of 8 years was fix by LSPWC under 6 months. Abandoned Ijegun - Jakande road completed, 7&8 canoe close to completion all under 6 months. Sure it is being replicated in other areas as well. I score him 5 out of 10. If he got the gut to arrest the parks agberos and omo onile he will get 7. |
Please verify the market price for such cars. I am sure direct toks that is Lagos cleared sells for less. |
Blood donation is compulsory by husband of pregnant women in lagos public hospital, without donation you won't be registered. |
Hello Export1 Kindly help check 4T1BE32KX3U763582. Thanks |
livinbygrace:O boy!!! ... U be suicide bomber. |
The crime visible to all in Lagos "Agberos" still unchecked they are busy looking for crime with that toy. Same way we Nigeria launched Satellite to monitor environmental disaster whereas nothing is being done to check the ones identified so far. |

ATM transfer is what I am scared of.... With ones phone and ATM number you can transfer to almost all back. You don't need ATM pin for the transfer |
Organized crime in Lagos is full blown and govt seem unconcerned. Transporter pay agberos at every bus stop daily in presence of security officials. Chief Agberos in turn pay security chief their cut daily for keeping quiet... Agberos are used by politians during elections because of the immunity given to them from prosecution. The top agberos in most areas in Lagos are well known and respected by people, politician, traditional leaders and law enforcement officials. |
