Are you for real?... Engine oil in fuel tank in a CDI engine. The nozzles are very sensitive to ordinary diesel talkless of engine oil.
What's the reason for adding engine oil. Thanks

Custom officials most times overlook cars that have spent over 2 years in Nigeria.

Those road they showed in the video is what they refer to as tough?these Peugeot people must be joking. I ply tougher roads daily in Lagos. During raining season, the water in that video nah joke to what at see on some Lagos road.

If you read through the news and you've been monitoring your bills like I do, I think this is good news for consumers.

You can check at any custom zonal office or port it is cleared from. Some people on nairaland can check for you if you provide your C number.

I own a W202 C200 CDI. Travelled to and fro Ilorin yesterday with about 40litres diesel. My car presently emits black smoke on hard acceleration and might be consuming more fuel than usual.
However, it very difficult getting good mechanics and at times spares to work on modern diesel engines. The mechanics charges are quite high or outrageous in some case.
Most issues they got is related to bad diesel damaging the injector nozzles. Imagine a mechanic charging 70k to fix an engine that is sold 70k. I have resolve to start DIY for fixes on nozzles for the car and will acquire the tools soon. With bad nozzles or nozzle rail sensor it very difficult to start, upon starting you can travel anywhere.

I noticed more Custom Officers have been deployed on some interstate route which were free before now. Road such as Oyo-Ogbomoso and Iwo - Oshogbo road are being manned now.
If your Tokunbo car is neat and less than two years better check the custom payment status before embarking on any journey this period. Non payment of custom duties means your car will be impounded, no amount of plea will save such car. If you are lucky they might take bribe which is always outrageous and such bribe won't save you from other custom zonal team.

A friend drove pass that road hour before the incident of COAS happened on his way to katsina. He said the road was barricaded and they had to talk their way through.

He also confirmed they just started the road block then and were not violent.

They are about 400 Watts for good ones
Led and energy bulb of 8 to 12 watts in my flats
10 bulbs still less than 100watts.
My 32 watts LG TV about 80 watts (some new 50 inch TV less than 120 watts)
Ceiling fan about 40 to 60 watts each
No way all ten bulbs all be on same time
Don't know the exact charging power of the 1 kva inverter I use but it charges it with 2 Nos. 200Ah batteries

To press my cloth I bypass all other load and use directly

You can repair the gen with x2 of the money you brought it when it start giving you fault.

Fault can develop with 3 weeks of purchase.

With reduce load I press my cloth with small generator iron. Sold of my 5 kva gen and the 2.7kva been redundant.
Can't be spending fortune purchasing fuel when I can use less than 4 liters overnight. The only thing it dues not power is my fridge. Can power table fridges with low startup powers with other items in the home.
