I have a 1998 Toyota Camry and have decided to replace the engine due to smoking problem which persisted despite two attempt to fix it. My mechanic suggest I replace with a 4S engine (Japanese model) to replace the 5S (America model) due to availability and cheaper price.According to him there is no difference between the two engine aside a weight added to the 5S model. Will like to know if it possible to replace 5S with the 4S model. |

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has said that the Federal Government has granted Vaswani Brothers import waiver totalling N50billion through their company, Stallion. He explained that “As of today (September 15, 2011) I understand that that the company they have, Stallion, must have enjoyed over N50 billion ($316m) in waivers and things they’ve brought in corruptly.” He said that as a result of this waiver, the country is losing a lot of revenue. “That means a loss for Nigeria and a discouragement for the production of rice locally. The rice is dumped, and there’s no way that Nigeria can produce rice at the price of the rice that has been dumped,” he said. Obasanjo declared this in an interview with The Africa Report, an online medium, in Abeokuta. The interview was published yesterday in the online medium’s website even though it was conducted on September 15, 2011, some few hours before the former president met in secret with Boko Haram families in Maiduguri. The former president explained that he had to deport the Vaswani brothers, who he described as enemies of economic reform, out of the country to protect the country’s economy. “Who are the enemies of reform? Those who have special interests like the Vaswani brothers, who were importing rice. They are very, very corrupt. Not only have I got to move in to protect my own team, but I have to move in to get the Vaswanis out,” Obasanjo said. He said that for President Goodluck Jonathan to execute any economic reforms in the country, he has to step on toes as well as protect his lieutenants from the influence of corrupt cartels. “Of course, you can’t do these things without stepping on toes, and there are only two people that can protect you: God and your political head. Ngozi [Okonjo-Iweala], (Charles) Soludo, ‘Oby’ (Obiageli Ezekwesili), [Nuhu] Ribadu and [Nasir] el-Rufa’i, all of them had one problem or another. I had to protect them from one thing or another,” the former president said. |
Beaf:Sounds good, makes alot of sense. Can PDP be trusted?. I am sure some PDP members somewhere are planning how to scuttle this good intention of Mr president and his team. As earlier said, time will tell. |
seal777:@ topic I believe your tire were over inflated. what pressure did you put in your tire?. Most vehicle owner put over 40psi in their tire whereas on GT tyres and some other manufactured in china the maximum permissible pressure is 36 psi, it is written boldly on it. Been using chinko tyres for over 4yrs but i make sure i don't inflate beyond vehicle specification written by the drivers side. On most Toyota /Honda they recommend 30-32 psi, hardly you get any vulcanizer who pumps 30psi, they rather put 40psi and above. I drive fast on Lagos road at night in some pothole infested area and run into them most time so as not be a victim of arm robbers, I had never had any issue with china tyre. I change them after 2 yrs of usage. Top tire like Dunlop, Michelin etc allows for max pressure of 40psi but we always inflate beyond that herein Nigeria. |

Stingy MTN finally promises Nigerias Biggest reward ever , how true can this be?.the advert is on most national daily. Can they beat Etisalat 1 million dollar promo or GLO that gave hundreds of exotic cars "BMW, Toyota, etc" in a particular promo. I am not expecting anything special from them i believe this is one of their scheme to raise money from their subscriber as done in the past. They better wake up and stop beating around the bush and reduce their tarriffs for good. Maybe they finally realize they are loosing money to Zain /Etisalat who has better tariffs. They better stick to their december rice/groundnut oil promo which nobody wins(I neva see any body wey win anything frm them). For those who choose to receive 4mb midnight keep your finger cross. |

I pray this is real , but something tells me that this might be as a result of damaged NNPC pipeline taking crude to kaduna. http://www.tribune.com.ng/index.php/news/26625--crude-oil-discovered-in-kwara-state |
