If you have been banned, chances are that they would have told you.
The question that should be asked however is, why do you think you were banned? And why are you still wasting money when you can correct it?
FYI the more you are refused, the less likely it is that you will be given

If you have a reason to visit the UK, do. Travel history is always good.
However, it dosent change the fact that the issue of misrepresentation has to be treated. Just keep it in mind that the next time you apply may just be to do that. Expect the worst. Hope for the best.

You can apply with a New Passport since your status has changed. The only problem is if they notice the name you filled in 2012 as your wife and kids has changed. Then you need to defend that.

Thank you for your candour. That will greatly help you. So you misrepresented. Whether or not the documents were checked, your details are on the record so you can NOT ignore it or sweep it under the carpet.

There is a part /column in the form where you are specifically asked if you tried to enter the US via misresentation or fraud. My advice is that you answer truthfully and list ALL the misresentations.

My only worry is that the ambience now no just make sense at the embassy. This may not be the right time to apply o. Especially as your skill is not one that is lacking. Think about it shall. .
But remember, you must have to own up to the misrepresentation in order to move ahead

All I know for sure is that the US vsa refusal hurts like hell. Makes people say strange things. The most common comment being that It is not by force to go to America. Wetin concern force inside the matter is what I don't understand.

Well, your do know perspectives differ. When I was denied, I was really upset cos all I wanted was to follow my mom to a UN conference. After I got it and traveled, it really became just a visa just like the other visas I had.
Look @abnot. Even though I teased him, he had a valid point. He'd been to a lovely country like Germany and seen things that people his age hadn't. To him, the US was just another fine country but with a different language.
It depends on the premium you place on a thing. That's what gives it value. Imagine if everyone stopped going to the US and suddenly decided Estonia is the real cool? Nwanne folks would start referring to US visa as ordinary o!
