She claimed to be divorced. The same way her husband claimed a fictitious daughter. The VO will just make a note on the profiles...
I think all the details they filled were lies. Fake husband. Fake Pikin.

shocked shocked Hanty sadsad, I just read through your posts. You mentioned that you were divorced and your ex’s mom has custody of your daughter. So where did you see the husband and 7year old to attend the interview with? You also created a thread about relocating permanently to the US. Which is which?
Lol at Hanty Sadsad

So sadsad see your life? What else can I say? He that is unwise, let him continue...

I appreciate your bluntness. Though hurtful but all the same its better to know the truth than to be misled. The agent has moved to Canada with his family so he ignored my chats when I insisted I wanted the login details so I could edit out the false claim. He sent a voice note screaming I and my husband should stick to what he submitted online.
I googled correction issues and saw that there was a time frame to do that online.

In conclusion, does it mean we should rule out US from our list of holiday locations for Life? As in, no remedy of any sort?

I understand Canada is linked to US, so does it mean we should also forget Canada as I plan to have our next baby there on medical tourism?

Please advise.
Be blunt if you have to, its ok, I'll understand
Misrepresentation makes it more difficult to get a visa. If you read back, you'll see folks that were later issued visas. But that was before this administration and best believe, they are mean now.

Advice. Avoid Canada until u sort out the US ish. And don't be in a hurry to rush back to the US embassy either. Use the next year to visit other countries. UK. France. Spain....
NB. For the future, even if you can't correct the form, your should own up at the interview. That was an option you didn't take. Again, preparing you for your next interview.
If I were you, I would ask for some refund from the agent or I'd send the voice note to CIC. Hmm. That's blackmail o.....

I agree.
I believe some folks are here just to get attention. I suggest those posts are ignored and who ever they troll should be helped. Or even if you don't want to help, just ignore the rants and move on

"The Bitter Truth Will Always Hurt"...and that is why you'll always see those people who can't handle the bitter truth result into attacks and insults because they are so low and ashamed of themselves.
Which is more noble?
To help people of low estate or join the bandwagon of people that judge others with no basis or reason?
If the former is to be ashamed of, then please let us be. If you want to support a cause, then you should not inadvertently insult others simply because you believe your grammar is superior.
Which I guarantee you, there are folks that are better here but have nonetheless helped others.
I SMH at how you bandy the words shame and truth when you fail to see the one right before you. Let me spell it out, " being nasty is bad". Simply because you are in your gated estate and behind your computer screen, you feel it is OK to scoff at others.
You madam should be ashamed of your " truth"

Thanks for the reply but what if we wait and apply after 1 year and say that he doesn't have anyone in the US at the second trial? I'm just confused. That agent messed up his application big time
You need to understand that no matter how long you wait your details are engraved in the data base.
So bear that in mind whenever you reapply. And put that in the form clearly when asked if you tried to enter the US by fraud.

Be that as it may, I'm going to point out some things based on what u said.
U had knowledge of this thread BEFORE you went for the interview.
You asked an agent you paid to correct a false hood, he refused and you went for the interview with that regardless. You are guilty of misrepresentation dear both within the law and knowingingly to yourself.
I verily believe you Had read this thread and reasonably knew it was wrong to continue, yet you did.
Now I'm not pointing this out to shame you, just to let you know how difficult to convince a vo of your clear mind aka obi ocha.

Again, I sincerely wonder the purpose of faking a daughter in the US. If any, I believe it weakened your husband's tie to Nigeria. This is for the people that REFUSR TO RESEARCH AND WANT SHARP SHARP ANSWERS. Failure to research? This is the result

Thank you very much. If I got you right, you are saying one can't send an iv letter directly to the embassy stating one is inviting another family over for vacation. And that even if we take the iv letter to the embassy on interview day, it's very unlikely we will be asked?

hello good morning all, please I have been a silent reader and I have this disturbing question to ask, is there anything like your contact person over there I mean US will be contacted via mail not email before your visa is guaranteed? Pls I need answers, thanks.
no one's visa is guaranteed
A contact person by definition is a person that can be contacted in the case of anything they has to do with the detail sought. Anything. So can they contact the person listed before issuance of a visa. Possibly. It has been done in the past.
Via email/ any other mail/ phone? That's their choice.
However, if your contact is fake and that is the reason for your disturbance, then I advise you not to fill in fake details. It can / may lead to a refusal and a ban.

I know you'll not bulge an inch minding all those hypocrites.

Like the saying remains..."The Bitter Truth Will Always Hurt"...and that is why you'll always see those people who can't handle the bitter truth result into attacks and insults because they are so low and ashamed of themselves.

Hello.
I'm quoting you. Cos I no get energy to go back to quote Twoods and cos what I'm about to say refers to both of your posts.
Yes. The young man's grammar left much to be desired. But then does it make him a liar?
Seriously, everyone is entitled to their opinions. But when those opinons lack any foundation it veers toward cyber bullying and a superiority complex.
How do you know the conference is fake? Can an Aba trader in aria aria marker or business man in Alaba not decide to go on a conference? Do you deserve a visa more than he because you have a fair grasp of the English language? That's just elitist.

In law, one is presumed innocent. If there is nothing to show the guy isn't legit, then I humbly humbly advice you not to join the bandwagon of spewing nasty stuff to folks just because you have a phone, mb and can speak grammar. Whey done sir and Ma'am for all the fine work your teachers did.

I want you and Twoods the wonderful English master to consider for a second....just a second. If the op is legit, would you ever have a chance to apologize... ?And then if it was you, how would you feel?
Stating the obvious truth is great. Assuming every one is a liar however may because reflection of one's personality. I have supported Twood's opinion, when it was based on a verity but just see this as a clear example of bullying.
Finally, with regards to the bolded. What is an insult and whose post was insulting? Asking the basis of a post is logic. On the other hand, jumping to judgement with limited facts, that in my opinion is insulting not just to the poster sef but to other readers. This is a thread for visa seekers, I have a visa. So which truth can I possibly not handle that I would have to resort to insulting anyone?

Good morning to both of you and have a fabulous day.

@all, let's be nice to strangers for no reason. Let's be the change we seek. Let's not join the new age of internet users and forget that everyone whether IRL or behind a screen is a human being with a soul and spirit. When you have knowledge, no matter how huge and you can't give it out, it's like switching on those lights at a soccer stadium and then hiding it under a huge bushel. Absolutely pointless

Good day house, hope everyone is fine?
I need your opinions here.
I had applied for a B Visa 2 years ago and was denied. Now I my husband and our toddler son want to apply for a b1/b2 visa for a 2 weeks holiday.

I have a cousin who works with a reputable company in US who is willing to invite us. But my confusion is, should he send a letter to the embassy stating he is inviting us and stating he will take care of our housing and feeding? If yes which email should that be? Or should it be sent by post?

On the other hand, should we just play low on any relationship abroad and just state we are sponsoring ourselves?

Which one please?

PS: our immediate family members are in Nigeria and we both have stable jobs.

I need your advice
1. Iv letters are not sent to any one in the embassy. You carry it along in the unlikely event you are asked for it...
2. If you will stay with a cousin, then why shouldnt you disclose it? People have been sent back for the exact reason.

This though could be just a random interview call on her sha....

1. How will she add her child now? Will adding the child through the add functionality from her profile work, being that she's the only one for the 221g? Well, it may.

2. Whatever goes wrong with her interview will affect her child too.

Why not just thread with caution and get hers first before any other thing? Will suggest for her to let us hear what she thinks can never be wrong with her US travels or what she thinks may be wrong too. Is she pregnant? Did she previously lie at her interview?
OK. I see your POV. I gave my advice on the assumption that she was going with clean hands. And to prevent double wahala of upanddan the embassy

OK. I'll make this very simple bro cos you seem very determined to get a visa
To get a US visa, you must have certain things that they look out for. From what you just said, it is unlikely you will be get a US visa..
Since your want to work, check Australia, I think they gave occupy for welders. But I advise you get a certified agent.
Sorry about the 650k but if you do not take the advice here, you will lose more. U hear?
Leave US for now. Look at Canada or Australia

Hello House, Pls I need your help. I tried to renew my visa via Drop box but I was told to book an online appointment for an interview and my plan was to take my 7month old daughter for an interview after mine is out. So my question now is can I book the appointment together with that of my daughter? Also, what are the necessary things needed for me to me take along with me. Thank you in anticipation
Yes. You should kill the two birds with one stone
#documents would depend on what you did in the USA in the previous visits and what you used the visa for...
For example, if you received. Any healthcare take along documents to show you paid in full...
Or if you stayed for a long period, then you should be able to justify why you did so.
Kindly post your interview later

Recently a friend of mine undergoing a 1 year course in wales was seeking a tourist visa to USA (first timer). He was advised to come apply in Nigeria since his ties to Nigeria was likely goin be stronger . However considering the cost implication of travelling to Nigeria with no guarantee he decided to apply at the us embassy in London.
He was asked about the purpose of the trip to which he answered that he was going on a vacation. The Vo asked what city . He said Washington DC. The VO asked bout his course of study and then the VO asked if he was traveling alone and he answered that he was travelling with a group of friends . The VO then asked what countries he had been to and he mentioned France , Spain , UAE, Ghana, Cameroon, South Africa , Ivory Coast , Belgium . The VO then asked looked up the passport and asked if he used another passport for the trip to France . He said yes and passed the old passport to theVO but the VO told him not to bother . Vo typed in some information and told the applicant that his visa has been approved and he’ll be contacted by the courier delivery company.

What went wrong is that your brothers and sisters that went and entered before you don raise the ladder.
Nigerians with seemingly good ties got B visas and ran off to Canada or stayed back.
You were just a victim of time and bad PR. Ordinarily, you would have gotten. Anyways, nothing spoil Nwanne. Take your vacation elsewhere your hear? UK is good. Paris good too.

Good afternoon house. I had my interview today. The VO at Windows 11 Lagos wasn't smiling. The first thing he did was that he collected my passport and he checked if I had Visa's on my slip. He just dropped it on his table. He quickly checked is computer for my previous application which I was denied. Base on my own assumption, I feel because I filled a no, on my DS 160 form where I was asked if I have an immediate relative, which I thought means younger brother or sister in the US who is a citizen not knowing it means a Spouse of a US citizen. Anyways I had corrected that sha. My interview goes thus.
VO: Good morning
Me: Good morning
VO: what is the address you are going to stat in the US?
Me: I told him
VO: What is the purpose of your trip
Me: I want to go visit my mum who is having some health issues.......she lives with my sister who is a citizen of the United States and she had sent me an invitation to this regard.
VO: How many days are you going to spend?
Me: 9 days and I am coming back to prepare for my final exams and NYSC.
VO: Are you married
Me :No
VO: Do you have kids?
Me: No
VO: Sorry I wont be approving your Visa gives me a blue slip.
I kept wondering what went wrong. I wasn't asked sponsorship and all the rest. It pained me sha.
Where you went wrong is that you clearly didn't read the thread nor self evaluate.
If you did, you would know sponsorship Is irrelevant
