Congrats to everyone, it's always good to share in the joys of others. Jewel80: |
abestine:Congrats! A big hallelujah to the most High who makes all things perfect according to His plan |
Arebo:If it's a paper application, your letter will be with your passport. Besides they've been on holiday since Friday and will resume on Tuesday |
aijayvee:Congrats |
Louis329:My guy as you have already paid the agent, you have every right to ask about the status of your application. If it's a refusal, let him tell u so u know what the real reasons for the refusal to be able to better a new application. He is an agent and as an agent, supposedly you're to know it all, but one person cannot know it all. Based on the reasons denied if it is, you can share on here and go back to read to see how people with similar refusal reasons tackled it and were successful. You and your agent are to work hand in hand and u must demand to know what he's doing with your application to the final stage before submission. That way there are no surprises. Money isn't easy to come by nowadays. Cheers |
jalay:With this information you have, Google should be your friend. After that, u can list the schools and programs u came across that accepts the qualifications u have. Then after u can come and ask if someone on here is at your chosen school and their experiences. U also need to keep an open mind. If you don't help yourself , nobody on here will help u. People are hot here expecting news from cic or preparing to begin classes or putting themselves together for new applications. Nobody will have the time to do your work for you. Make Google your friend, keep an open mind and read from the thread from the beginning. U just might find your answer. Regards |
gbsunmonu:Congratulations |
McOsheBaba:I was just going to ask about this. God is in control |
hardehbayor112:Defer through the same address you received your admission letter from. Include your student ID |
Holyfield1:U can only wait and be hopeful in prayer. Calculate to see if u are still within their current processing time and if you've exceeded and u haven't already sent them an email, maybe u should politely. |
Cherryola:The website is gcmsnow.com. It's $23 and it's paid using a card. You need to calm down, all is not lost. Do well to check your admission letter to confirm the date. If u were admitted for September 2017 you will need a new admission letter with a new date. You will need to explain to the school your refusal and ask for a deferral to the next available intake. You should share your profile as well and try to calm down and put all your thoughts and questions in one post. |
Cherryola:gcmsnow.com and bear in mind it takes about a month or a little over to receive the notes. The best thing to do is to defer your admission to January if the school does a January intake. While you wait, u should try to gather information on here and if you don't get something, u can ask on here but please be patient for a response too. |
chybaz:. This is heartbreaking. I suggest u take some much needed time, not too long though. U can order for your gcms notes in the meantime. Out yourself together and repackage. I know how u feel firsthand. To lose someone and wish for a light at the end of the tunnel and it keeps getting darker, but trust God first. It is well as all is not lost. Take time, ask the gurus on here for help and repackage. |
It is my prayer that my TRV is granted. I really want to meet @Maizude. This guy always dey talk sense. God really bless u for your time and effort. Too selfless |
Please share your profile so that people who want to go for a PGD can learn a thing or two and are not discouraged. When there's a will, there's a way. Congrats Good morning everyone, I have been a silent reader for about 4 months. I just checked my cic account this morning and saw i have been given trv. Oh and I'm a PGD applicant too
|

Unless you're in a hurry and you have an idea of what the insufficient funds is about, I will advise you to order for gcms notes. Insifficents funds can constitute a whole lot and not necessarily not having money. Your notes can tell u exactly what the officer is looking for. To answer your question, I believe a detailed sponsorship letter showing the relationship with proof of birth certificates should do it. My opinion, I don't how it works in Nigeria, but in Ghana that should do. Wishing you all the best. Hello everyone, please I have a question to ask. My visa was delayed on 3rd august on grounds of insufficient funds, I posted my profile before the house same day. I want to reapply & in order to tackle is reason for refusal, I would be adding a cosponsor who is ready to show commitment in my next application. My question: how do I establish/prove relationship between me & my cosponsor? She's my mum's maternal cousin. Thanks in advance for your response
|

Hello guys, I am a new user and I've been following this thread for the past 7 weeks as a guest. I'm from Ghana and I found this website unfortunately after submission. I picked up my passport some days ago and it was a refusal and I've read so many important things I could have done differently with my application. Although it seems the requirements for Nigeria is much different than ours, I would like to provide details for my refusal and see how best I can solve them. 1. The VO didn't think I would leave at the end of my stay. I've never been refused a visa and I've traveled to the UK and US before. All the same I need to do more in convincing he or she of my reasons for going and leaving. I did realize maybe attaching something like a property document might have saved me from that. I must mention that all my family members are in the UK. 2. The VO also thought I didn't have sufficient funds. My uncle is my sponsor and the bank statement had a closing balance of 60,000USD for a 5 month period. My annual tuition with insurance and transport card inclusive summed up to about $9,000 and yearly housing at $5,000. That's 14,000CAD a year plus an extra 10,000CAD is 24,000. Even that times two is 48,000CAD. I'm sure I'm missing something that someone here can spot and offer some advice on how to go about it and repackage my application. Thanks |
