NYSC › Re: Your NYSC Questions Answered by Lagusta(m): 8:31am On Oct 18, 2015 |
Darkchocolate: They might flirt with you etc etc and will only do that if you give them the green light I.e. if you keep smiling at them in a seductive way lol, eyeing them, or going to them whilst they are sat in mammi market, or maybe you are really pretty and just can't help it. If you bone them, I'm sure they ll respect themselves. But there s a thin line between being flirty and being nice and friendly to them (its always good to have a soldier or two on your side). Don't cross the line! Respect yourself! Finish camp and leave with your dignity intact.
BTW...I have never heard of soldiers rapiing anyone. I have heard of consensual sexual relations though.... Which they shouldn't be doing cos they are in a position of trust. Its like a teacher shagging his/her students. Hence I said earlier...be nice to them but "face your work". Nice one jare my sister..... |

Health › Re: Difficulty In Getting Placements for Internship In Nigeria by Lagusta(m): 12:31pm On Oct 17, 2015 |
centje: I don't want to write much on this internship programme for some reasons. But why Nigerians have this mentalility that things shouldn't be made straightforward, amazes me. Just because they want to place some unnecessary value... People are subjected to unnecessary suffering and risks. There shouldn't be any form of competition in relation to internship programme, it's mandatory training, what qualifies one for the internship is securing your degree
CMDs and Administrative arms of teaching hospitals do a lot of malpractice, let me cite one example; interns are recruited in batches or sets, so a set end up leaving at the same time. When a set leaves, there's usually about 2, 3 or even more months time lag before new recruit are taken to replace the out gone interns, now during this time lag, federal govt still allocate and send funds to teaching hospitals, these monies are pocketed by who?? While there are propective interns wasting at home.
This country is messed up. This example you cited sir, is what is happening right now at Lautech teaching hospital, ogbomoso... There are just six house officers left in all the four core clinical specialties, roughly two house officers each. And these goons have about 25-50 patients to monitor, how them go do am?? And the old-cargo CMD just bought the latest lexus jeep for 18million..... In fact, God dey!!! |

centje: I will have to ask questions and get back to you. I know Enugu state pays corps members well, pays 10k per month, so i think medical pay will also be good compared to other states. How soon do you need the information?
Meanwhile, Ebonyi state pays well too, up to 150k Thank you sir.... We would be mobilized on Monday, and I picked enugu as third choice.... Just wanted to weigh my options... Tanks again!!! |

Nice one.....
It's quite disheartening gen I see that my mates whom we graduated together last year are still wallowing at home doing nothing but dying of depression, and its all due to nepotism, bureaucracy, racketeering and CORRUPTION!!!
I mean, why would a doctor or any other health practicioner, after spending years of spending on books, reading to die for exams, and would still pass marginally (because you don't pass in medical school, you satisfy the examiners), would now be jumping up and down from one hospital to another, not because of the money, but because you need to do the one-year compulsory house job to become fully registered into the council.
But nay, hearts would still be broken, suicide would still be attempted, and families would be ultimately bereaved....
Nice one bro |
