Retinoblastoma occurs in 1 out of 10000 CHILDREN
Cataract is the leading cause of blindness WORLDWIDE, so where's your logic here? huh Or you just used the word retinoblastoma because it sounds fancy...
You're more likely to see a case of allergic conjunctivitis than lens detachment, retinal detachment, trauma and lacerations COMBINED. do your research
during my medical school days I saw three cases of retinoblastoma, and I saw five during my house job....

and it doesn't sound fancy to me, watch the way you talk to people

Both brands are doing well but Infinix is certainly not eating tecno's cheese. Tecno has a wider variety of phones that suit people from all walks of life. Infinix is still very limited.

Lol..hungry dentist grin misleading the general public , try leaving the comfort of government work and set up private make hunger wound you.. Optometry is simply politicized in Nigeria due to black man mentality.
In the USA it's a post graduate course(studies after a 4yr basic science course) just like medicine and they are the first doctors to be seen regarding eye health(primary eye care) before referral to any other health practitioner including the opthalmologist.

They deal directly with the optician who cuts and glazes the spectacle prescription , they are solely in charge of lenses including contacts. some opthalmologists just try to be greedy and can't give you a proper refraction.
Ophthalmologist are mainly in charge of the surgical aspects which even come once in a blue moon due to the fact that most people that require eye surgeries except for some rare cases do do in their old age (senile degeneration)e.g cataracts
Prescribing drugs is something both an optometrists and opthalmologists generally can do and it's not so lucrative because most drugs used are not that expensive even the most expensive for glaucoma (3k-4k).. In private practice an optometrist is far ahead of a dentist even in the north where dentists get the most patronage..
you are correct, but not too correct....

opthalmologists see more than cataracts or glaucoma....

in fact, in the north I'm sure they see more retinoblastoma patients than cataracts.....

what of eye trauma and lacerations, what of eye burns, what of lens detachment or retinal detachmenthuh

or am I talking trash herehuh

My friend don't dare compare a Dentist qualification with an Optometrist! You should stop arguing things you are ignorant about!
Do optometrists learn anatomy, biochemistry and physiology in details? Do they learn Pathology and Pharmacology? Did they read medicine and surgery? So how would you place both of them on the same level in medical hierarchy? What does an optometrist even know in the body? they are not even the bosses in their field!
MBBS - this is the degree awarded to medicine and surgery students, is their Doctor there? so according to your wrapped thinking, they are not doctors?
please lets take things easy here....

an optometrist is always awarded an OD (Doctor of optometry) and is always given the "Dr" title....

the MBBS degree is getting outdated, Nigeria needs to move on, MD is far better....

and yes, optometry is a very lucrative job, as you see them working in teaching and general hospitals hand-in-hand with opthalmologists....

so abeg make we chill small
Car Talk › Re: Which Car Can I Buy With 500-600k by Lagusta(m): 9:39am On Jan 03, 2016
My personal advice to you....

1) A toks golf3 or vento costs about 500-550k, those cars are quite good for a start.

2) But if u still want naija used then buy either a 1998 Toyota Camry aka pencil light for 600-650k or Honda accord 1999 aka baby boy for 450-500k. However, check the car very well, go with two mechs and "rewires", one before the other....

3) Now here is the punch-line: NEVER BUY A GERMAN NAIJA USED CAR, WHETHER ITS A GOLF, AUDI, BENZ OR WHATEVER... no matter how enticing the offer may be. For the simple reason being that those poor machines would have taken so much abuse they become crap....

My 2cents.....
