SixSeven:I agree but the point here is he has been stereotyped which is a common phenomenum popular actors need to fight against actively. Having spent so much time and gaining popularity with the series, It won't be as easy to start attending castings or auditioning for other roles with wannabes. At best, he should have claimed some rights from WAP on the use of that character howbeit with a clause on margin splits. He would have fared better. To be transparent, I'm out of touch with Nigerian TV programmes so I have no clue if WAP is still vibrant or not. Last time I watched was in the 2010s. |
Stooge |
This is one example of why many actors also do not want to portray James bond characters. It restricts them to a persona that they cannot use on their own outside the franchise. That's why Daniel Craig for example wanted out as asap. They can however leverage brand deals (if they come) using a semblance of that character. Pierce Brosnan can do add for watches without the 007 logo because people know him. This man should have pivoted a while ago but no surprises, when things are going good, people think it would last forever. Where is WAP today? Even if they want to help, there's nothing much they can offer. |

Crude oil futures will be selling like hot cake right now. |
yinkus6750:Nigerians are never satiisfied. You have to take cognisance of spply chain efficiency and lead time. Did the govt provide a stable price of crude, probably not. He raised the price to protect his back end, everyone screamed. Now he's taken back, people still complain. |
This is a beatdown. Kudos to the Tigresses. |
Data boys again. Always defending nonsense with propaganda |
Madam, you should have collected that money jejely |
Distasteful. Disgraceful |
The interest rate of Piggyvest is just too low these days with 600k profit on #10m for 6 months. It's not matching with inflation at all although it has proven to be a safe asset. It will even be better to buy and fence a land and wait for three years for better profit. Or split the #10m, keep some in Piggyvest and use the other to start a small trade/flip business that requires no fixed costs but you need to know what you're doing. Good luck |
It's a valid statement. If he's just a comical refresh, why are people flocking to his church in hundreds. As you post his funny videos, post his serious videos too. |
It's Tayọ Amusan, not Tobi Amusan. In my opinion, I don't think ShopRite broke even at all with the rate of expansion back then. Nigerians only went to these stores on Sundays to buy a few snacks but snap plenty pictures. The Tinubulation put the final nail in their coffin with low consumer purchasing power and exponential operating costs. Little surprise. |
These peace deals are akin to dining with the devil |
It's until we start throwing presidents in jail for the sins of the people they selected into office that our treasuries will have some peace |
I mentioned this in another thread. Christians in these regions need to watch their steps in these times. laivwire: |
It still beats me how these camps are being ambushed. This is a war zone and the army is expected to be alert at all times for the sake of their lives. It's sad they do not even have constant surveillance to notify them of herd movements of these terrorists. You would also expect they have certain protocols for such attacks due to the high probability of happening but sadly it's not the case. Yet while some keep saying the army is well equipped, the terrorists are mopping up all the equipment. |
Government document without their government names. Which document would carry Adekunle gold or Simi has no surname? Garbage report by a Garbage rumour peddler. |
How can you have people eating millions every month in this country without doing a single thing that using pen to change figures when young educated people are going through this level of hardship. Yet their sycophants praise them all day in social media networks. @op, only advice I can give has been given by Hypnotize. Learn a hand skill you can use to augment and pivot to entrepreneurship. Even Nigerian employers are so cruel. |
mmsen:I agree. Abosolutely no idea on Glo. |
Imagine landing in a country where your sim isn't registered and you can't even connect with the people who are supposed to pick you up. Many times I have had to beg and borrow a strangers phone just to connect with others in the airport awaiting my arrival. The moment you land in Nigeria, you get a feeling of the hardship once they open the doors of that plane. From the heat to the dysfunctional carousel to the "wetin you bring come" crew despite billions going down yearly. May God help us But to be fair, some personnel have really improved their professionalism especially customs and when departing. |
Christians in Northern Nigeria should be weary of their movements in this period. |
This design is even wrong. Why is the platform so close to the lions. Close enough they can reach out of the cage with their limbs. Even in the U.I zoo, there is a clear border between where the lions can reach and where the people stand. |
Elders with no credibility |
The fact that people have thriving businesses doesn't mean all is rosy for them. Lots of Nigerian entrepreneurs look okay and thriving on the surface but are seriously battling to keep the lights on under crazy pressure from loans ,bad staff, poor infrastructure and an oppressionist regime. They would rather bail out before their businesses are shuttered or shame comes upon them. UK is not upgraded Nigeria, it is light years ahead. If you are gifted enough to thrive in Nigeria's harsh environment, you would get better returns for your creativity and talents in developed countries. That's an indisputable fact. But as you should know, opportunity and talent is not enough anywhere, you need good timing/luck too. Japa if you can but take it as just another risky venture. Always protect your back end. |
Druss:No idea |
You would think this is a look and pass issue but if you work in a high level mutinational company that requires frequent travel, this situation is a serious nemesis. |
This is a pre facelift. 2014 at best. |
