I used Sepa as an example. I know it's an EU thing but something similar would be a priority for a commercial BNPL model to work effectively in Nigeria considering the typical Nigerian repayment mentality.

On my other point, money is power and power is influential.Thatis a general life principle. If the other party also possesses power in the dynamics of your environment/household, you both share from the 100% control and it is not 100 to zero not is it equal to the percentage a powerless spouse wields. If you as the husband is okay with that is another topic entirely. If you share financial responsibilities in the same home, depending on the ratio, your influence fluctuates in relation to whoever brings that other share. Period.

You may have a point but there are people who spend 10m on a Nissan Micra. Not everybody buys for show, we all have our reasons and someone who can afford 40m to buy an additional car can see this and buy.
