This is one year I did my biometrics and applied for my visitors Visa to Canada through agent and yet know decision has been made , although other friends of mine that applied through him have either gotten their visas or got denied. During my Visa application he told me that Canada visa is 50/50 that I should give him little amount of money and if my Visa is denied that the money is not refundable of which I accepted. My question is, Is there any reason he is hiding the decision on my Visa from me? Although the way he is speaking through cell phone shows that there is know hope right now as there have been many Visa denial this days... What could be the problem of my vasa?

You cannot send your bank statement directly to the Canada embassy. Only the copy uploaded to your portal for the visa application is considered part of your application. Please ask your agent what was the actual financial document uploaded to your application

Passport submission request came on 25th of this month.

Kindly advise on how to submit my passport because I live outside Lagos.

I also would like to use this opportunity to say that I noticed a lot of skepticism around using agents. But not all of them are bad or irresponsible. I tried to use Cradlehaven last year, but the customer service was very poor. I eventually used TATAgency. I was given the list of documents to provide and I appreciated how the guy assigned to my request served me. They completed the application and asked me to review. I made my adjustments. I submitted my application MYSELF.

I have had previous rejection but during the process I saw the mistakes I made earlier.

I guess I’m saying look for a reputable agency if you must use an agent like I did. Some of them are really good and transparent.

Good morning house, i got my passport request yesterday, but then my passport expired and i renewed it while waiting for IRCC to decide on my application. Pls do i need to raise a webform to inform them that i have a new passport and also after raising the webform do i have to wait for acreply before sending my passport

Thank you for your perspective on this matter. It's important to clarify that the rejection of a visitor visa is not a downfall for any traveler. Can you honestly say you plan to return if your visa is granted? If not, you are part of the problem. I have no issue with any asylum seeker; it is the judge's job to decide your case. However, their abuse of visa terms is affecting other honest travelers now. That's the fact. Accept or reject it, or term it positivity or negativity; that's up to you.




I believe if your application is well package and meets all requirements and your application was completed truthfully it will be granted.

Success or refusal rate does not have anything to do with other people actions

Kenya ,china and India are the most asylum seekers in Canada and yet,thousands of them enter here on daily basis

Please if you get a passport submission notice , do you have to take your children (5yrs, 3yrs & 20months old) with you to VFS for drop off or you can just go with your spouse and take the passports of the children along with us when going to submit

Do they need to sight the children in-person. Note that the children were exempted from biometrics because of their age so only my spouse and I went for biometrics then.

It was stated that
am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by
paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/
section-179.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will
leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel
for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.

I run the application through the help of someone close to me and he told me that we can appeal and raise the pof with some landed documents
Pls how true is that and if possible how soon will they respond to that? Where can I get the form to fill for that
Or pls advise on documents to send to them for me and my wife cos my son is just 12years

Each country has its own regulations on which foreign drivers license us accepted in the country for how long.

FRSC issued by Nigeria is fine
