Hello house,Please, a family friend applied for a visit visa .The husband being the main applicant has a valid USA visa while the wife has no visa. I was hoping with the Husband visa,they’ll get a response faster but it’s been a month now with no response..the visa is being processed at the Kenya visa office after the notification email was sent when the husband send some additional documents via web form..do you think the husband should write to inquire about the application as it’s strange getting such delays from them with the us visa in place since I read on this platform how people are able to get their visit visa very fast if they have a valid us visa. The status bar keeps showing process at the background check session.

At times dosent work like that,with my USA valid visa my application spent reasonably amount of time b4 i heard their decisions.....please allow the IRCC to do their work,you person will hear result at the appropriate time(one month ,haba,let the IRCC breath)

Turkey Airline should be able to fly you thru to CANADA direct, why following Scandinavian country, but they may not actually stop at Denmark,they will just pass through, i habe entered one plane like to Canada that passed thru Dublin but we dis not actually stopped at Dubling,but ask questions and find out very well from your tickets agent

With the way you are asking this questions i beleive your mind is made up to declare Asylum,
But i will advice you not to do it,visit ,enjoy yourself,sightsee very well and return back to Nigeria, built up your travelling status,apply for US,Uk ,shenagen Visa,,and you can travel to any part of the world as you wish

I have been on this platform since I applied for a Canada visit visa in June 2023 through an agent. I didn't really know much about the whole processing thing, hence why I used an agent at that time. Ever since I followed this platform, I have gained better insight Into the whole process.

My dilemma now is that, will it be possible to run a study application and a visit application concurrently? since I have not heard anything from IRCC since June. The agent I used kept saying my application was "in progress".

Is there also a way I can track my application myself or send a message to IRCC to expedite my application? At this point, I don't even mind whatever the final decision. I just want to hear something.

I will advice you not apply first,june 2023 is a very long time and i'm convinced the IRCC must have send you your decisions, tell your agent you need to log in to your portal and check by yourself, else if you give information different they might take it as misinterprettation,when you enter your portal you can print your previous form and see what the agent fill in for you

Asking a Member of parliment to inquire about your application doesn't influence the outcome, but it helps to get decision to be made on your visa application if it has passed the estimated processing time.

Like mine is now 171 days I submitted an application, while the processing time at when i submitted it was 111 days.

The VO has a valid point. The 3m covers only your return flight ticket alone and the account will be totally empty.

Depending on the hotel (star) booking for (15 DAYS) and current naira devaluation, you need between 10-12M (or better still,15M) because you will still have to show the VO that your account won't be empty for survival after spending a lot for vacation. Imagine your flight ticket alone cost 3M. That is why I do advice applicants with no solid economic or financial tie not to apply for more than 7 days stay or at most 10 days to help save cost your POF when the VO is reviewing your application

Did you do it yourself? Have you been following this thread because most likely, you would have known that 3m is far too low to use as POF from here?

I applied for visit visa in 2018 and I did biometrics which is valid for 10years ...after 6years I'm now reapplying again for visit visa which means my biometrics is still valid...Now after I paid visa fee my biometrics dint come up after some days ..wats the way forward..hope this is clear enough!

I filled my details and all including application numbers and UCI number. But there was nowhere on the web form where I could UPLOAD ANY DOCUMENTS OR ATTACHMENT. There lies my confusion.

I filled the same form (the first of the 3 links). No space for any attachment.

I don’t know what I’m missing…

You need to calm down and check very well there is a place that say upload your document on the webform ,i have uesd it before

Like you are making things difficult for yourself and people here on the platform to help because some of your questions are not too clear,but anyway,after completing your application ,if you have 1 million document to submit, compressed everything together to 2mb for each placeholder on the application page and submit for each,is very simple, therr are some free app you can use to compress,just google compress document
