Can someone tell m some thing Plz

Just try to meet all requirements and if possible put a call through to the school and ask if you could be told all that will be needed as you've to make a decision based on their assesment of your application to the institution since you intend starting by July I guess. Thank you

Did you use an agent for visa application?
Not at all. I had no need for any agent. I read the thread and applied accordingly, asked for help where needed.

Were you granted your within end of April and this may. If yes good. But if No it might not play out as you've said. Cos I can still remember someone on this thread also complaining about been told to submit a document and after his app has been on queue for them for long and psssibly till now without been finalized. I think that persons submission date was 16th of April and he got an iformation request 11 days after according to him if I'm not mistaken. Till now no answer from them. The person is active I think on this thread. Jegz or so

I was once a student. The stress of trying to stay back after studies is no joke. I wouldn't wish it on my enemy. Why would you want to pay thousands of dollars for studies if you can go the PR route?

I don't know how many times I have said this "Many employers do not really care for Masters/Phd, e.t.c here. They are all about experience. What you have done work/job wise. I was very interested in public health/infecdisease and did a masters degree at a University in Perth. Believe me when I say that I have never used my Masters degree to find work. My experience(s) so far have sufficed.

The government is changing immigration rules. You and I do not know what rules will change before you finish your course.

If you have the experience, try the PR route and then do your masters when you get here. As a PR you've secured your stay whether you find a job after studies or not plus the school fees will be a lot cheaper

Good Luck

Wow I really appreciate your responses.the bottleneck going Pr is I don't have any job experience. Just my industrial training and NYSC experience which is related to my field.

If you have experience in Agric, it is better you apply for PR than contemplating on student visa.

Agriculture is a thriving aspect of the economy in the country both crops and livestock. However, getting a job in the field like other jobs is dependent on your ability to convince an employer of your skills and experience meeting their requirements or criteria. I can't confidently say you will get a job or not but can only say agriculture is alive in the country.
Meanwhile, agric jobs are not what you look for in the cities, they are in the regional and remote areas of the country.

Than you Mr bellong for a well detailed response . God bless you

@lakola. See this. If you can get your PR do so instead of wasting money on Masters that might not pay off/pay off at the end of the day.
Thank you very much wellendowed I will consider that

You've been advised to contact the school but i will also like to ask you whether you chose a thesis based program or coursed based program. Reason being all thesis based program is often based on availability of supervisors unlike course based.

My advise is to see whether you can switch to course based if not too late as this may not require getting a supervisor. Goodluck

NB: Some course based program also require supervisors.
It is thesis based
Thanks my people. I will contact them on the matter. God bless

I really appreciate your reply, yes the experience was for 12 months. I would consider all you've said. Thank you very much

To be honest I do not know much about agriculture but I don't think you will grow there (Please I stand to be corrected). You see, some of these occupations are on the skilled list but truthfully they are difficult to get into. I remember asking you what you did in your first degree. The fact that it is on the list does not mean there is abundance of jobs in that field. Do you know that Law is a struggle? Many people that studied law in Perth have all started studying one health care course or the other

Biomedical science for instance I think is on the list but guess what. I know 4 people who studied that course in Perth and are back in Nigeria because of no job. You want to grow in such field look at the US. I did a course some years back through Edith Cowan University in Perth and one girl in my class who did her masters in biomedical science told me that she had to change career because she couldn't find a job. She is an Australian. But the course is on the skilled list.

I try to back up my point with stories from people I have met along the way

Now I am interested to know if your experience in your field (nysc) was for 12 months? if yes, why not consider coming here as a skilled worker? when you get here and see growth in your field then you can go ahead and study or just work but that way you are not spending too much money for ? nothing at the end. It is cheaper that way and you come in as a PR. You can still study. This is Bellong's area of expertise.

Course and just nysc and Industrial training experience in the said field. Do I stand a chance
Of getting a job in the regional area where my
School is located??

thank you very much

Google the skilled occupation list. If agricultural engineer/scientist is still on the list, then consider those two for masters

Whatever you do, find an occupation on the skilled list
im a fresh graduate Sir, what other fields can Someone move to and is it possible to convert masters to a bsc?? My first degree is in animal science

Hmmm. What is your first degree in? can you step away from agriculture? it will be a challenge to get a job in that field. Don't know much but I don't think the future is bright there. If it helps I know some Ghanaians who manage farms here. They actually brought relative through that route

What do you do for a living? do you work? are you eligible for skilled migration? it might be cheaper that way if you are eligible
If you do a search on Australian Economy, you would discover it's dependent on services, manufacturing, mining, agriculture, etc.

In my opinion, there are lots of opportunities in the livestock field. Just that you have to forget about living in the big cities. You also have prepare for the not so easy conditions of living and working on a farm. These farms are on acres far from the regional cities which are far from the big cities. I would also say the pay rates would be lower than most other sectors.

You can also do further research by looking at the occupational ceilings of occupations closely related to livestock Agriculture.
Thank you so much . Detailed response. Really appreciate
