I had my visa interview on the 1st of March 2018 and my enrollment deadline is on the 30th of March, I have written my school emails concerning extending my enrollment deadline but I haven't gotten a reply yet.
Do you all think it'll affect my chances of getting visa?

You definitely didn't use daad very well. All these courses are there. Trier university offers msc in environmental science, Kiel university too, Bonn university offers geography, munster university offers geoinformatics, TU BERLIN offers geoinformatics too and all courses are in english. So many of them. Go and make research if you need more. Bless up

Good response...There are many Environmental Science related courses on Daad. He just needs to filter his search to make it easier for him.

Opening a Domicilary account in Euros and Transferring from there to your blocked account or having your money in naira and using form A to transfer the money to your blocked account.

Please I need to know which of the transfer charges will be cheaper and straight forward.

I got rejected from two different schools stated the reason as thus; "The admissions committee has carefully reviewed your application documents and determined that your qualifications do not meet the requirements of our demanding Master's degree programme."
Fortunately enough, I studied Pure and Applied Chemistry in my B.sc and I put in for M.sc in Chemistry.
My questions are these;
1. Is B.sc Chemistry curriculum in Nigeria different from the one in Germany?

2. I'm looking towards applying to some other schools for winter semester again, doesn't it means same reason(which I don't pray for) might be given after application?
3. Has anyone experienced such this stuff as mine before and then later got over it?
Pls your prompt suggestions, contributions, and way forward are welcome.

Your reason for refusal sounds like that of FAU. They rejected someone here too for the same course with the same reason. They also rejected me for a different course because my docs. wasn't adequately certified. And all this course are without admission restrictions.

The only solution is just to apply to as many schools as possible. I have missed out of summer semester because the few schools I applied to rejected me, although with genuine reasons.
I will be going for Winter semester now, already have admission for Uni Freiberg (It's really a thing of joy to finally gain admission after a few rejection.) and I am still expecting one from Uni Hannover and University of Bonn. Will still apply to a few other schools then will make my final decision when it's time.

Got admission letter today for TU Freiberg for Winter semester.
May have to shift my plans to winter semester since FAU has refused to reply my mails.

FAU is a very good school but getting a place is always a tough nut to crack.
Why don't you try Uni-Bayreuth, they are more relaxed and international unlike FAU. They have a very good and modern Science Faculty, the biggest I have seen so far in Bayern(don't know of TUM though).
Besides the foreigners Office in that city is not so friendly,

Unfortunately Uni-Bayreuth denied me admission because of one course I didn't offer in my first degree.

I just got admission into TU Freiberg for Winter semester (Environmental Geoscience) Do you have any info about the city? It is in the state of Saxony.

They are not being honest with their admission process then.
Now, I just wonder what it takes to meet their requirement.

Even to reply your mail is a major issue for them. after my initial rejection, they asked me to send another application which I did, and up till now they have not said anything about the new application or replied my mail.

Damn! So they rejected all 3 of us even though we applied to different courses.
Though, my own rejection was because my Transcript was not certified properly according to them, I am beginning to think that FAU admission is too difficult.

In all their courses, it's just one that has Admission Restrictions, the rest courses does not have it. What this means is that once you apply for a course - say Chemistry for instance, and your first degree is in Chimistry too and you have a good grade, you will be giving the admission no matter the number of persons that applied for the same course.

So in your own case @dailydolar, why are they saying you qualification did not meet their demanding courses. I just wander what it takes to meet the requirement.

@dailydolar, was Chimistry your first degree course and how good was your grade?

I am still waiting to hear from them on my resubmitted application. The school is a very good school and it is located in a very nice city.

The reason for refusal is stated in your rejection letter.

download the rejection letter attachment on your CAMPO portal and check both pages well. the reason for refusal will be stated there.

They also rejected my application just because of my transcript was not properly certified. So I had to send them series of mail before they agreed that I should send another complete application with a proper certification within the application deadline.
Most of the course they offer in the school are without admission restrictions, so once you meet the requirement, they will offer you the admission no matter the number of people that applied for the same course. So I am just curious to know the reason they gave for rejecting your application.

I am still expecting a feed back from them for my second application.

I really do not know why they are delaying like this especially FAU since most of their courses are without admission restrictions.

If we are supposed to enrol by April, they should hv sent admission letters by now to enable us plan our visa processing.
I really hope they respond this week.

I want to know if they normally accept documents certified by high court. Or if i should use a notary public service. I ve checked the course website, no informatn is there abt it.

They are very strict about their certification. I will advice you use a notary public or go to the German embassy in Lagos.

I don't know if it's compulsory or not. I wrote Ielts, so I used it to apply because it was stated in the requirement. You can confirm from the school if they can waive that for you.

Just relax your mind, since its dhl then it will surely be delivered before the deadline.
Mind you, getting to Germany on Saturday or Sunday doesn't mean it will be delivered dat same day because these are weekends and not working days.

So hopefully by Monday or latest Tuesday your package will be delivered.

Dhl is well-to-do and very reliable wen it comes to such issues.

in my own transcript, my personal details were not written on the other pages. everything was on the first page. if I had known I would hv asked the certification officer to do that for me.

I know of the student discount, but the girl in the location I sent it from said they don't do it in that location, that I will have to go to their head office in isolo to find out about the student discount. time was against me bro, even though the money is big, I had to just do it there, didn't wanna take any chances.

Yes, it's FAU. I was really mad when I saw the rejection letter.
They could have at least told me early enough that my Transcript wasn't properly certified. I could have even sent them the original copy if they wanted me to.
Well, I was able to contact the school directly, and with the help of a professor, I was asked to send another complete application.

I got the mail to send another application yesterday afternoon, with the condition that I must meet the 31st of January deadline. so I had to hurriedly send the documents through DHL, they charged me #20,900 for it. the DHL lady said it will leave Nigeria this night and get to Germany by Saturday morning. I just hope it gets to the school on or before 31st of January.

My other worry is that I had to send a set of document that was certified by the German embassy but it was for another school. i included a letter to clarify this.

Ok, I didn't know I was supposed to ask them to write all those details on all the other pages of the transcript, my bad. They refused my application solely because of that. it means NIPOST actually did deliver my documents. I was thinking the reason why I didn't get the VALID status all this while was because they have not received my docs. Now I know it's because of the certification.

I don't think they will be having any aptitude test even though they mentioned it as part of their admission process.

They just sent me a mail saying that they have received my application, that my documents are complete and that they will get back to all applicants before the end of January.

What's your first degree, did you offer Chemistry in your first degree?
They said we must show prove of chemistry studies, and I didn't offer Chemistry in my first degree that's why I am kinda worried about the admission even though i have a very good first degree

About FAU issuing refusal letter, do you know anyone that has been refused for this summer semester? is it like they issue you refusal letter immediately you apply if they feel you are not qualified maybe based on your grade?

in my case, i am very confident I am well qualified for the admission. I am just worried because I have not been able to confirm if they have received my documents or not.
