Hello house, does it still make sense to buy ubcap at #1.36 and does still make sense to buy transcorp@2.55 having missed #2.26 of yesterday and going by d fact that this mini-bull can last till Friday and d possibility of catapulting stocks like transportation to say #2.90 already, ubcap to atleast #1.45,gtb to perhaps #21 and oando to #17.so what do u all think,i can do now, on stocks like oando @14,gtb@18.87,transcorp@2.55,ubcap@1.36 as i write, thanks as i awaits.
Bought transcorp @2.26 , bought more @2.50 today , i think it shld get to 2.90 or 3 naira

i think @ 2.55 not bad , also oando @ that price

Sir Chibuking81, your certainty about "before or after election" should just be erased for now on your opinion. I can authoritatively says no one can time the market, even the greatest traders/investors can't do that. I will just advise everyone to adopt the strategy that works best him/her.

Q: Were you aware that INEC will postponed our election last week?...So this tell you that the almighty God is the supreme of all certainty and possibility!
Totally agree with u sir

Yes am still a learner , cos i don't know it all and i always humble myself , and i act when i need to ..i do not need to tell u my story , like u did
I am referring to this ''particular statement '' not others , and am still saying no one can time the market , u can only guess

There will be a mini bull return next week, FIRST BANK, TRANSCORP, UBA, DANGOTE SUGAR, OKOMU OIL, CONOIL, Oando, Eterna and many others are likely to rally by next week, then after that bear will return. Those stock I mention above, they are all attractive to enter now base on their current price, with JIJO motive/ long term motive too.

Do you mean using naira card to withdraw dollar from foreign ATM or using a foreign card to withdraw naira from Nigerian ATM? For the latter, I tried it more than 3 weeks ago and got N179.xx while I have not tried the former recently except to withdraw pounds sterling.

How do you mean by 'they can't survive'? Have you heard of Hedging, Options and other derivatives b4? Most of those big banks (UBA, FBNH, ZENITH) hedged 80% of their Oil and Gas exposure and the effect of drop of global Oil Prive have lil or no effect on their assets. I don't have any exposure in bank shares for now but i think the reason why most of shares are trading below book value is MAJORLY hinged on POLITICAL/Country Risk (Uncertainty on next election) as a whole
Thanks so much for your comment sir , i was wondering
They ve been surviving for years despite all economic /political challenges , there re so many info we don't know about these banks
