zeelo2014: What's wrong with the rate? I did 9.5% last week with diamond bank and I'm fine with that and seeing some of u here getting scared cos of the election, hello!! This is Nigeria and not Congo, Burkina Faso or CAR. 2015 election will come and go and nothing is gonna happen, June 12, 2007, 2011 all passed without anything after all the noise making. So invest ur money in treasury bills, Treasury bills is not a ponzi or money doubling scheme don't be too expectant. I agree with you , I had 180days tbills done with gtb |

sellydion: I do not see a reversal in view. You may have a bounce to suck in. Then the bleeding continues. The market now favors the long timers who are barging hunters like feelamong. No need to wait for bottom just stay till the bearish trend is over. Exactly , that was what happened to me , do not get sucked in , u might incur more losses Frustration to re-coup ur loses , if u re not careful u keep loosing more |

myjoy08: It is very clear that some many advice have been given out concerning holding of cash, selling your holdings at losses and so on. My simple question is that...that person that is advising you to sell or hold your cash, would that person tell you what he or she is doing with the cash or what to do with the cash, and when he/she his buying any stocks? they will be telling you or advising you to do that, do these, etc. and they will be doing the opposite on the other hand. Please i might be wrong but the facts still stand that i'm very close to many informations. My simple word is that don't let any one fool you with market fear or panic, but know what you are doing!!! And do your due diligence on the other hand. Goodluck!
Peace! thanks |

Omimah: 2015 things? Will you be surprised when PDP starts campaigning that it made the price of cement to drop? How come it is only Dangote, a man that got a GCON from this government that is doing this? Na where him dey buy him own limestone? In Port Harcourt and parts of the South South, where Eagle Cement is, no reduction. Na where Dangote dey buy him own limestone? Even if its true after sometimes the demand for dangote cement will be higher than supply , THEN THE PRICE WILL GO UP AGAIN Some middle men will frustrate it For example the official price for Nigerian passport used to be 5100Naira , How much do you spend in total if you go to the immigration to collect internation passport ? I hope this one works , its an opportunity for those building now |

jerryunit48: Jesus . Am speechless, I know it's a small house but that is a very reasonable amount. Am building two units three bedrooms and I know how much I have spent so far, I stay in Europe and someone is taking care of it for me. Sometimes it is your own people who are finishing us. Another food for thought. I agree with you sir , am about to start another project but am still scared of my people . I understand there is always a profit when you labour , but these people will want to eat you to the bone , thats why i dey folow this thread i can have more ideas on how to deal with them |

Chillisauce: Does anyone know if this bvn (bank verification no) by CBN will affect instructions online on TB. I cant seem to get a good response from my bank.
Good morning all @chillsauce ,am just tryin to make refrence to one of ur past comments on t-bill , i found out that exhange rates is one of the problems one has to put inot consideration when investing in Tbills Imagine for example loosing like 40k naira on 10,000 dollars when converting back to dollars The last time i converted naira was 164 , now its 168 or more the naira is struggling I think its better to leave the money in naira and use it in naija , just my thots |

Elai147: Same here. I just pitty Meristem sha. Apart from their good customer service, they are almost getting useless for me. My initial plan was to use Morgan strictly for JIJO activity (short term things) and Meristem for long term investing but I am beginning to have lesser need for Meristem. I dey love Morgan everyday. I have been trying to sell since morning on meritrade , no way Not encouraging at all , they need to step up meritrade platform down again |

[quote author=FranklinRich post=27529632]One of the hardest things to do is to admit you made an investment mistake and own it. I made a mistake accumulating this stock.I realised that paying for the acquisition of mainstreet bank is going to be a long stretch for the bank coupled with the new CBN's policy on dividend payout which might result in the bank's inability to pay out a reasonable amount, I envisaged that I might be locked in longer than expected. I dropped off the bus with minimal losses. In this game; you win some, you lose some. In all, I live to fight another day.[/quot

Toluway: I've said it before. His mission is to spread panic alarm across investors with the aim of crashing the system in order for him to start buying at 50k. Investors, it is your responsibility to protect your interest. This is becoming a psychological warfare. We jenuine investors shall win. Victory is ours. The Bull is back. Sir , thats why we must have a strong mind I agree with you some people do that to spread panic , no one can predict the mkt If u not for longterm sell off |
