jassie: while the projects are commendable, we'd love to see the common man being able to live there. . .

if you check the LASG website, you'll find out most of these projects aren't really targeted at the masses, the prices for the flats are outrageous.

The sad truth is that most politicians already have their own slots in these estates. . . the height of greed.
Exactly .. i spoke to my fam friend that works with lagos state Dept if housing he told me the same thing ,he cldnt afford to buy it , the Ogas at the top allocate them amgst themselves and re-sell at higher price

feelamong: Exactly why I prefer to deal with my brokers personally... no time for online ish...

I speak to my broker on the floor and get him to buy and sell while trading is on..
They just wasted my time for hrs waiting for mandate to be executed online , i had to call them to confirm and they didnt even want to tell me there was a problem
i think both online and old brokers will be the best

myjoy08: One of the reasons why we are called human being is ability to take some risks even when we know the going is tough. I just wish to congratulate my Good Family here thatthe battle is won and your risks taken especially in the oil and gas sector will soon start to yield some rewards on your investment. You have fought a good fight and your smiles is around the corner. Once again, congratulations to all the brave hearted even in the midst of uncertainties and human humiliations u stand still on what your heart denotes to be true and follow it. I see everyone attaining the heights of breakthrough in whatever u put ur heart into. Stay strong, have confidence, embrace and strengthen your weakness, believe in yourself, and be safe. In your success, remember to be humble. I see the eagle voice out in this new week. Remember to pray for the world.

Be safe. I Love You All.
Thanks Brv

Chibuking81: brokage fees is only 0.25 with my broker, I gave sales mandate just last week, when it was #28 but immediately cancel it, but has it been that I proceeded, by now I will be on the gaining side. The mathematics is this, if I sale at #25, and position myself at #20 junction and buy back even if the completion of the deal announce, with morgan security it can not jump from #20 to #25, it will start the movement with #21, #22 between this junction I will not miss out.
Nicely said sir , once u have peace on that then u can go ahead , And also i wouldn't know what percentage Oando u ve got on ur Porfolio, i have like 30% , that could be the reason why am not all that under pressure / stress
Dont have 500,000 units like the Ogas , i diversified my porfolio

NB- u re still the manager of ur porfolio ooo

Chibuking81: if they did not seal the deal on or before monday, Oando will still move further south, but once the completion of the deal take place, Oando will tremendously move toward north. I am already inside the bus, but thinking of offloading some unit, at current price only to enter later. If I can sale at #25 and enter back at #20, I know the risk involve that once the completion announcement of Cop deal take place, the price will move up, but if I enter immediately I will still gain. It is all about business.
Oga chibuking81, i hope u re a little bit relieved now ?

myjoy08: The reasons why you see some people crying fowl on Transcorp, FO, Oando (that have not even started flying...wait till next week by God's grace) price is because they have missed out and looking for a way out to get it by all means. As I stated, don't let anyone discourage your goal of making money. In all, be wise and stay ahead of the game. Oando's news concerning the completion of COP is around d corner. Not far at all, at all (weekend deal when others are still doubting, already completed as I heard). Be safe and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Shalom
Sir , one has to be very careful so that you do not make mistake when people start bad mouthing stocks ..I won't mention any name but am sure some of my beloved forumite might have an idea
The first case was oando , the guy badmouth am and he mentioned he sold all his oando shares after considering all the fundamentals , and bad management etc that oando value should not be more than 10 naira or so.. I quickly sold half of my Holdings , to my surprise when oando got N35, the same guys said if he had known he wouldn't have sold all his Oando and I noticed since the Ministerial approval he has never said anything against Oando and am very sure he might secretly be on this OANDO train

Lesson I learnt ...U re the manger of ur portfolio

Aks: I just read all he wrote on SMN but I can only conclude that he's crying more that the Bereaved (Investors). Stock Market especially in Nigeria is for the Wise, Learned and Risk takers based more of Sentiments, information gathering of happenings around than Fundamentals. It is bound for people to lose Money and others to gain i.e. for every BUYER there must be a SELLER.
It's wishy washy for somebody to be dissecting Trancorp company's Financial Report now when the stock is on the rise and not when it was N3 - N3.50. Mayb the stock is moving @ a pace beyond his 'asking price'.
BTW- I don't have a unit of Transcorp (I've sold like a week ago @ N5.68) but I wish those in the bus well, BE VIGILANT AND Know when to EXIT when u get to ur target price (Paper Money is no Real Money)
Exactly , why now , that could had been done when it was N3-3.50k
