FranklinRich: Do you think anyone can really tell when these stocks have gotten to their lowest lows? I have no doubt that the all share index will go lower, but one thing I know is that it's decline will affect all stocks differently. Some stocks will be more battered than others and some will not even be battered at all and might even gain, in all we just keep looking for fundamentally good stocks where the irrationality of the market has pushed it to down to very attractive prices and take advantage of it. As long as you are a long term investor, you need not worry so much. This present market phase does not look to me like it really favors short term trading. u re correct |

The folks with inside info will exit a position as much as they can and at any asking price prior to public release of potentially negative market moving information. Other banks were involved no be Elephant alone , there might be other reasons as well |

[quote author=myjoy08]Sir, it is always joyous to see ourselves in joy even when the going get tough. Well, not much to say about Oando for now but i wish everyone in that bus, Congratulations in advanced. very very soon, some people will understand why am congratulating you in advanced. My simple opinion is that, don't be greedy!!! Sooner the better, some press news will be released that will boost Oando's strength!!! NB: Please this is not a recommendation to buy or sell as your due diligence is well advised as there are many good stocks in the market like Fidelity, Wapic, Transcorp, Afriprud, Uba, Stanbic, and so on. Thank sir |

Chillisauce: im not sure about that. I have invested lower than that amount before and i was sure it was from their secondary market, although they wont tell you that.
They let you submit your request and then tell you later after the bidding that they lost in the bids but they are willing to sell you some ( in most cases from their secondary market) I know banks re looking fo money now , so they re discouraging pple to go inot t-bills The acct officer that is handling my t-bills said he had put it into the fixed deposit until the next t-bills auction and i was given an intrest rate of 7.5% on fixed deposit, i will call the head office |
