*AVOID BROKEN HOME AT ALL COST.* Consequences of pride in a marriage could be irreversible. If someone tells you that he/she has a perfect marriage, just know right away that he/she is a great liar. Couples fight and fight badly for that matter, but it's the ability to revise ones stand, communicate with respect, and be honest with each other, that determines the survival of any marital relationship. If you remove pride and arrogance in your marital relationship, the marriage is already 90% promising, stable, peaceful and can thus, stand the test of time. Invest in your marriage through giving, talking and compromising here and there. Your business as a stakeholder should be what to do to make your home peaceful and stable for you, your spouse, and your children's enjoyment. Stop running to 3rd parties who equally have their own challenges they are probably hiding and managing. You may end up getting nothing positive or helpful from such friends, family members, church/mosque members, and colleagues to whom you are exposing or trading what should be the secrets of your home. Broken home is like a war. No party goes uninjured. Each party goes with an injury they nurse for the rest of their lives. That is the reality. Whichever party claims unaffected/uninjured is a chronic liar, chronic pretender, and an unrepentant soul, l mean he/she is stone hearted. Such a person has no idea of what a good home should be. He/she is ignorant of the positive impact of unbroken relationship on the home itself, the community, the church/mosque congregation, and the society at large. No amount of success in life could compensate for failure at home. Ensure that your home is not scattered. Repair it now before it is too late. If your home is experiencing separation now, ensure that you shed your pride and compromise to arrest it from drifting to a broken home. Stop narrating your home affairs around to seek sympathy. Most people you have taken your story to, and are supporting you, are in their own homes, keeping their homes intact, sympathising with you, while you are already out of your own home. To be sincere with you, what you will be treated to outside your home will not be what you bargained for. Think now and go back. May God help and bless you. In marriages, we are all managing each other and there is no perfect marriage and till death, couples must continue to manage each other. If your marriage will last, manage your spouse, there is no perfect marriage out there. Son of ELIJAH, Oga Ago.

etcsines: President Ramaphosa makes mistake on live TV while addressing xenophobic attacks
A video of the moment President Cyril Ramaphosa made a mistake while addressing South Africans on gender-based violence crisis and xenophobic attacks witnessed in the country has gone viral on social media, and has been described as an embarrassing and epic fall.
The South African President started off his address by reading from a teleprompter at the SABC's parliamentary studios. However a couple of seconds in, Ramaphosa made a mistake which he flagged on Live TV by saying: "Let's start again. I made a mistake".
Following the backlash that ensued after the video was leaked, SABC has apologized to President Cyril Ramaphosa for flighting the pre-recorded message that included a re-take of his address to the nation on Thursday evening.
"The public broadcaster wishes to apologise to the president of the republic and the nation for any embarrassment caused in this unfortunate breach of the news production process," SABC spokesperson Vuyo Mthembu said in a statement.
"The SABC takes this issue seriously and can assure the president and the public that due process will be followed and appropriate action taken."

GistCaster: COMMANDANT-GENERAL of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) Abdullahi Gana has directed the immediate deployment of personnel across the country to prevent breakdown of law and order.
Gana gave the directive in a statement by Mr Emmanuel Okeh, the NSCDC’s Public Relations officer (NSCDC), on Thursday in Abuja.
The commandant-general said that the deployment followed the directives of the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola.
Gana explained that the measure was to avert retaliatory attack on South African companies and people in the country.
He said he shared the thoughts of the minister, who had condemned the reprisal attack by some Nigerians as an expression of anger over the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.
“This is not the solution to the crisis at hand because more lives of innocent Nigerians and properties worth millions of Naira would be lost in the process,’’ he said.
Gana said that, apart from deploying personnel to provide physical security, the NSCDC had engaged the Crisis Management Department (CMD) and the Peace and Conflict Resolution team to mitigate the crisis.
“This is to immediately carry out enlightenment and advocacy programme to educate the citizens on the need to embrace peace and shun violence because of its dire consequences on our collective security,’’ he added.
He appealed to Nigerians to be patient with the Federal Government and not allow the retaliatory attack to snowball into national emergency to avert its hijack by hoodlums.

nairavsdollars: *Confirmation Will Give Magu Greater Confidence — Sagay *9th Senate A Rubber Stamp, Not Surprised — Odumakin
Temidayo Akinsuyi, Lagos
President Muhammadu Buhari may re-present Ibrahim Magu, the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), to the Senate for confirmation as the substantive chairman of the anti-graft agency, Daily Independent has gathered.
A presidency source who does not want his name in print disclosed this to our correspondent on Thursday. Efforts by President Buhari to get Magu confirmed by the 8th Senate led by Bukola Saraki, immediate past Senate President, were rebuffed by the lawmakers who rejected him twice, citing reports written against him by the Department of State Services (DSS). Magu took charge of the EFCC in an acting capacity following the expiration of the tenure of his former boss, Ibrahim Lamorde, in November 2015. He had presided over the affairs of the commission for eight months before Vice President Yemi Osinbajo made the nomination to the Senate on July 22, 2016, when he (Osinbajo) was acting president. However, the Senate, on December 15, 2016, declined to confirm Magu based on a DSS status report which discredited his capability to carry out his duties creditably. The DSS also accused Magu of being corrupt, an accusation the acting EFCC boss queried. Determined to get Magu confirmed, President Buhari again presented Magu before the Senate in March 2017 but he was rejected by the majority of the senators present at the plenary after it was put to a vote. His rejection followed the receipt of another letter from the DSS which stated that he (Magu) would be “a liability to the anti-corruption fight of the present administration” if confirmed. When asked to replace Magu with another qualified candidate, Osinbajo had said Magu would not be replaced. He said the president did not find the security report prepared by the DSS, which was the basis of his rejection, a strong reason to replace Magu. Speaking with our correspondent on Wednesday, our source said with a new National Assembly which had pledged total support for the president in place and resolved to work for the interest of Nigerians, President Buhari might soon re-present Magu before the Ahmad Lawan-led Senate. “In order to show his commitment to the anti-corruption war which is one of the three cardinal programmes of his administration, President Buhari may soon re-present Magu to the 9th Senate. “The 8th Senate under Saraki refused to confirm him for reasons best known to them even when the president gave him a clean bill of health. “But I believe the president will soon forward his name to the Senate and I believe there won’t be any issue this time around,” the source said. Speaking with Daily Independent, Prof. Itse Sagay, Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC), said it would be a big plus for the war against corruption if the president forwarded Magu’s name to the Senate for confirmation. “Certainly, the president can re-present him so that the Senate can approve him for a substantive capacity rather than continuing in acting capacity. “That will give Magu greater confidence because he is already doing very well. Yes, he can re-present his name for confirmation,” he said. However, Yinka Odumakin, National Publicity Secretary of pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenfere, said with a rubber stamp Senate, any nominee sent by President Buhari, even if he were a convicted criminal, would just be asked to take a bow and go. “We already have a rubber stamp National Assembly. Even if the president sends the name of a notorious convicted armed robber to this Senate for confirmation as EFCC chairman, they will just say yes, sir, and ask the person to bow and go. “If Lawrence Anini resurrected today and the president says, ‘I nominate Lawrence Anini as the chairman of EFCC’, this Senate would just say, ‘bow and go’. It is a rubber stamp Senate, so anything goes,” he said. https://www.independent.ng/buhari-to-re-present-magu-to-senate-for-confirmation/
[quote author=tsinzu post=81915460]I don't believe it. We don't have an ambassador in south Africa. What we have in South Africa is a high commissioner. Confam Fake news[/quote What is the Difference between high commission and Ambassador? You mouth like fake news Evil man
But I don't know why I'm always of the opinion that the use of solar panels for electricity is the most expensive renewable energy generation.
Apart from the cost of the solar panels and its accessories, which is much on the high side as compared to the output power, just look at the area it occupies? Forget all the ish that it won't be fueled bla bla bla, those panels are not rugged.
To me, wind mill is the cheapest renewable energy source. My opinion though.
Are you a minister of Darkness No light you will complain now solar power you complain of the expressiveness oga are you the one funding it my opinion though.
Josnac: Nigeria my country, where everything has just gone "un poco loco"
O.P trust me, if there was an avenue to raise those funds..I'd have advised you to go for it and let that son of perdition go. That's how they do; intimidating civilians all over the place and running away from the main fight.
When I saw the police numbers released, I laughed...then the military released theirs and I laughed even more. Truth is that facilities like that can't be effective in Nigeria till we root out the endemic corruption within these systems down to at least the barest minimum.
Otherwise you can finish calling in to complain today, tomorrow the suspects/ culprits will call you and you'd hear..
"I hear say you dey call dey complain, you think say you get liver eeh"
And at that instant... You'd be looking for a bus to Cameron.. Lol

vincentus16: northerners are not like southeast. This people are very reactive. If anything happens to buhari even if they do him what they did to ekweremmadu, it can lead to serious crisis oo. This people are always loyal to their hierarchies whether they are doing well or not. They are not like the igbos that criticized Jonathan's regime and even backed buhari to win even though they are not of the same tribe. If anything happens to buhari the igbos in the north will suffer first. God help us oo.
