Please don't be offended. It seems you're a very young person and maybe this is your first time of hearing news of Israel-Palestine wars. They fight each other every other year and it will likely continue for many more years. What's happening today is not strange or surprising to some of us who have been following middle east news since 1970s.

This is not only true, but it is just one incidence amongst many many others. I saw gory videos from telegram and twitter, of families killed in their homes, in cars, dead bodies on the streets in midst of their pool of blood. Children were not spared. One man was shot in the head close range, his brain matter scattered on the streets. It's crazy what humans are doing to fellow humans.

but wait o, these people seem serious. Where are they getting arms and missiles from? How were they able to accumulate such arms without Mossads knowledge?

Several reasons I can think of:

-They were not using American phones, laptops and gadgets that can be intercepted by Mossad intelligence.

- Israel politics is divided and tumultuous for some months past. They were busy trying to remove Netanyahu and not focusing on the enemy strategies

-They got solid Intel from Iran or similar enemy nations of Israel. I don't think Hamas can pull this off without first-class intelligence agency from a developed nation like Iran.

- Qatar and Iran and other Arab enemy of Israel has been pumping money to Hamas to prepare for this invasion while all eyes were being distracted with Ukraine war.

Hamas claimed they bought drones, anti-tanks and land-to-air weapons from Ukraine, definitely from some corrupt elements in the Ukrainian army. Netanyahu also warned around June that NATO weapons are appearing on Israels border in the hands of Palestinians but nobody paid him attention because all eyes are on Zelensky.

This Israel-Hamas war is exposing corruption in in Ukraine and it will effectively end/reduce the support they get from NATO/EU/USA.

you are very correct all AD can be overwhelmed , and the worst this is that you can use several cheap rockets to do these.. I think AD should be redesign to make interceptions very cheap

Imagine spending 100 dollars each to neutralise attack rockets that costs 20 dollars to make. It's a matter of time before the defense becomes economically unsustainable. If this attack is scaled up as was done yesterday with thousands of rockets fired, the attacker will only spend 20% of what the defense would have lost to defend themselves.

That's why I fear China, they could make the same weapons that cost millions of dollars at a very cheap price with almost the same capacity. Their F-16 copycat is way cheaper than American own. They would be a tough enemy for USA/West, based on economics of scale.

Exactly my thoughts. Before, I see them as victims, but what was done yesterday wasn't resistance or even acts of war, they were cold blooded terrorists, killing entire families in their cars and killing non-combatant innocent people going to their places of work, kidnapping girls and children.

They deserve whatever retaliation is coming upon them.

Borders were created since 1947. That's not solving anything because both Israel and Palestine lay claim to the same land each one currently occupies. Eg both claim Jerusalem as their capital. No border agreements can solve this problem.
