hollermeelaycon: i do, mostly working class who cnt come down 2 ur place. My own idea is if u gt somebody here, send it 2 d person n i wud send d money 2 ur acc Very funny. Why would I want to go through all that hassle and expense just to sell a phone to you. They are guysin Lagos already calling; sooner or later it will go. Anyway, don't have anyone in Ilorin.Best I can do: tell me ur guy's office location and I will see whther its conveneint for me to drop in and give him the phone. Any location on the Island, and not on the Mainland is out of it. |
hollermeelaycon: my problem is hw 2 get it in IlorinWell I don't really know too. You have any ideas? Don't you know anyone in Lagos at all? Instead of wiring any money to me, why not wire the money to a trusted relative or friend in Lagos, who will buy for you and then DHL it to you. Guess you'll need have him find out the cost of DHLing a blackberry phone. Don't think it will be that much. |
ezedidi: Letz swap wt ma nokia c7Thanks for the offer, but no swapping. This an outright sale. You should probably buy a Bold 2 and then sell your Nokia C7. |

digospel2: Let the Holy Ghost take over as he open his mouth to speak let it be confession of his terrorist activities. The Holy Spirit loves leaders who have great integrity. Leaders who are honest will not embezzle the people's money and make them to suffer. God loves selfless leaders. Above anything else, the Gospel stands for TRUTH and abhors any kind of lies and deceit. You are a disgrace to the Gospel of truth. You are a disgrace to the gospel with your cheap propaganda and lies. Your prayers will not rise above your head, because they are colossal untruths. Whether you make them ignorant-ly or deceitfully does not matter. |

@ Rossike Very good analysis. The Catholic church is stinking rich. But what does that have to do with Catholic Nigerian Bishops standing by the truth and on the side of the people unlike the Pentecostals who are supposedly the bearer of the real gospel truth of Jesus? |
this is avery stupid arrangement. it is very clear the couples are so uncomfortable. also they are sitting in the sun. also they are so far away from every other person. its like punishment on your edding day. i sat again, this a very stupid setting for a wedding. they should have thought of something better. even the sitting arrangements for the guest it nit so comfortable. |
coogar: no, you cannot agree with cc! she's too soft!Very stupid boy. I suspect you are a small boy and know nothing about marriage. Congratulations to the best husband on the planet!!! |
coogar: not everybody she's beefing but everyone who threatens her in her own home. if this was on a neutral spot or if my wife had gone to her house, then it would be my wife's fault and she would have deserved whatever she got there as well. |
Okija_juju: Are you your brothers wife?!Honestly, okija juju or whatever your name is, you've since just being raving like a lunatic. You are not making sense at all. Imagine, your mum beats up your dad's mum, and you saying it as if its something to be proud of, that we should start clapping for you. That act was wrong men! Very very wrong!! And your dad, something is definitely wrong with his head. Shout and abuse me all you want, that is not gonna make that act right. I mean talk about craziness of the highest order, its definitely in your family. I'm sure many Nairaland Babes will be dying to have you as their husband, since you will not hesitate to beat up your mum for them for some justifiable reason. Imagine, see this man, trying to pass on a sick act as something normal, even righteous act. Not here jare; please check next bus-stop. |
@LeonessAug If you actually read through the pages of the thread, you will discover that most male Nairalanders are opting for working class girls as against girls that are not working. |

@ Shollypopz I know you like proving logic and all that, but the truth is that, if you carry this your no-holds-barred attitude into marriage, it won't matter whether the guy is Nigerian or American, the marriage will soon start falling apart. I know you think you are very bright, sharp, articulate and intelligent, but so also are many American women. Why else do you thing America has the highest divorce rate in the world? One of the major reason is because this new age woman emancipation thing. No one is saying a woman should be a husband's slave. Far for it. In the US, the woman-emancipation movements have already liberated the women. But having being liberated, the women are now taking things too far. They marry a man and they believe if they spend two days in a kitchen, the man must also spend his own two days. They marry a rich man for two years and they want to claim half of his money that he worked for his entire life. That is no multi-millionaire not to talk of billionaire will marry any woman, no matter how saintly she appears without a pre-nuptial agreement. As a result, many stars don't even marry anymore; they just go ahead and have kids. |
Alright, my take on the subject is this: you are not going to spend 6 billion on the phone-for-farmers project abi? You are only going to subsidise its purchase from mobile operators. Well, whether outright purchase or subsidy, is it a taboo to mention that actual amount you have apportioned for the project? If its not 6 billion, then how much? In a sane country, this what the Ministry would have done to counter the claim. That alone tells anyone with a brain something is fishy somewhere. And by the way, I don't believe, even for a minute, that 70 percent of farmers don't have a mobile phone. It just can't be. How can a farmer not be able to afford a mobile phone. Unless his farm is the backyard of his house. |
