Sycophants!!! I swear, sycophants are the worst kind of human-beings!!! |
All he is saying is the truth. |
Did hear you say you voted for because of the lack of a better candidate. Mr. Pastor, that is a big lie and you know it. There was a better candidate. You could have voted for. But just like most Nigerians, you were carried away by sentiments and the "I had no shoes" campaign of Mr. Jonathan. You voted not out logic" reasoning, but you voted on nothing but sheer sentiments. You did not even bother to look at the antecedents of the contestants. As for me I voted for Buhari and I am proud of my decision. Like a poster said, why not add a little realism to your choice Presidents for 2015. Buhari had a good chance to be President in the last elections. Another one is coming in 2015. I say Buhari is the most qualified to rid Nigeria of the monster of corruption. He has the willpower, passion, clout to deal with the corrupt big guns holding Nigeria in slavery. After him others will follow to continue the good work, but we need home to lay the foundation for a Nigeria free of corruption and indiscipline. You only deceive yourself if you think the likes of Fashola can break the back of the monster, corruption, in Nigeria. Is it Fashola who is Tinibu's boy, and together with his Godfather, they are stealing Lagos State bind? |
It is official now, you are certified slowpoke. It is not by force to talk. Why not just watch, listen and learn. |
oily+Yoruba:What the hell are you talking about? It is not propaganda. It is history. An account of what happened at the time and millions of people were witness to it. A man that has beeb President before, you are asking what he'll do if he becomes President? What makes more sense than to look at what he did when he was President? It the logical commonsensical approach to the matter. But having said that, I agree with King of Flag that Gen. Buahri shoild reduce his posting and should stop with pictures. |
It is when leaders are not sincere and dont have good intentions, that is when there is need for plenty of grammar to say what the leaders want to do; that is when there is need for plenty of assistants and advisers and PHD holders to explain what the leaders wants to do. All those things that you have itemised, Agriculture, power supply, roads, transportations, railways etc, the problems with those sectors and every other sector and aspect of Nigerian economy is CORRUPTION. we dont need any big grammar or long economic thesis to identify the problem of Nigeria; what is holding the country back from economic and human development? it is CORRUPTION. So what are "Buhari PLANS and INTENTIONS are in the following critical areas" you ask? General Buahri's plans and intentions is very simple and straight forward. His plan and intention is to make things work as they should by stamping out CORRPTION in all those critical areas and every other areaa or sectors in the country. The plan is that simple. It does not need plenty grammar, illustration or analysis. As he deals squarely and decisvely with corruption across all the facets of the Nigerian economy and society, everything will begin to fall into place. |
luluosas: All Nigerians, including myself will do worse things than President Jonathan if given the opportunity. That said, we should try and give opportunity to people with track record of success in their previous endeavors when considering the next President, come 2015. We should put behind us any form of sentiments in order to get the best candidate to win, whether he/she is an Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Edo, Idoma, Nupe, from any part of the country. This is my suggestion. You said in order to choose a good leader come 2015, we should shun ethnicity and tribal sentiments. One would think you would be the first to practice your own"preaching". You said "as of today, we are sure of the people who would contest the 2015 elections on the platform of all the political parties", but you cleverly pretended as if General Buhari of CPC is non-existent. But you keep on mentioning names like Soludo, Sanusi and Duke, that have no chance of winning any election. Even Fashola has to beg and obtain the blessing and support of Godfather Tinubu before he can even smell (not to talk of clinching) Presidential Nomination of ACN. And we all know what Tinubu is about. GEJ is a compromised President. Fashola would also be a compromised President because of his Godfather and Godfather's friends. See what is happening in Lagos. The whole of Lagos is in the pocket of one man. My point: you are not practising what you preach, otherwise, you would have also given Buhari a chance by mentioning his name. As for me I would shun all sentiments and not beat about the bush. In today's Nigeria, if Nigerians know what is good for themselves and sincerely want a change, the best man for the job (one who actually has a good chance of getting there and not the pipe dream of some dreamers) is General Buhari. There is no other better candidate with a brighter chance than him, for the job. This man knows Nigeria's problem and will tackle it squarely. |
toongee8701: Thanks for droping ur comments,it is seen and noted ok,iif you hav any questions u nid to put forward,do it directly instead of beating around d bush, yes I just brought my phone frm mizbeach, and its working so perfect.I don't like it cos of the touch screen,I ws using a full qwety fone befor a bold 4,so can u try to reason with that, alsoI can't get used to it,it cos me a lot of typos,I hav reciepts as evidence,so pls if you r interesred drop ur offers not to critize, better still view and move on if you know you have no interest ok,thanksSorry, I didn't mean to imply anything negative. I was actually asking because for sometime I've been considering upgrading from Bold 2 to Touch 3. Some people complain about the touchscreen and I wondered whether it was really that bad. I always imagined it would as usable as Android touchsreen phones. |
How can you not quote a source for this kind of controversial news that you bring? Don't get me wrong; I believe 100 percent in the prophecy of the Bible, but many times, people get carried away with their own imaginations. |
ochukoccna: Calamity Joe is free to increase the fuel price by removing the so called subsidy after doing 3 thingsYou are so right on point, especially on the number 3 point that you raised. It really is a wonderment why it is necessary for us to have middle help purchase fuel for the country. It is something that absolutely not needed and not necessary. I understand Nigeria is probably the only country in the world engaged in this senseless practice. |
It seems Jonathan is always looking for ways to make the life of the masses more miserable. The guys laughs and smiles a lot, but he is like a slow poison; someone who smiles with you but is killing your softly. This man is sha looking for a way by all means to increase the price of fuel. From the probe that was done by the House of representatives which the Executive made every effort to rubbish, it was established that a cost of within 300 million, or at most, 500 million naira, is enough to cater for fuel subsidy; and this cost is a burden the goverment can easily shoulder for the good of its peopele. But Jonathan and its Presidency has shut their eyes and ears to this glaring evidence. They keep on insisting they must spend trillion and trillions of naira on fuel subsidy. It has been said and established by peopel of morale, good intention and impeccable standing in the country that the problem is not the subsidy but the endemic corruption in the Subsidy Regime. Removal of subsidy is just a ploy to increase the price of fuel. Lets put what is happening in a very simple langugae that even a simpleton can grasp. Jonathan is not on the side of the people but his paddies (politcal and busines associates; the corrupt elite). Jonathan or the PDP goverment is subsiizing corruption for his cronies and not fuel. Now the cost or burden of this sustenance is getting heavy on the goverment and impacting negatively on goverment performance because it amounts to one massive recurrent expenditure every year. They have to do something about it because of complaints form experts and economy watchers all over the world; but they dont want the jollification to stop. So what should they do? They sit down and strategize and concludes: why dont we just shift that colossal neck-breaking burden from the neck of goverment and put it on the neck of the people. So instead of Jonathan friends collecting thier subsidy-cake-billions from the goverment, they will begin to collect it directly from the masses in form of higher price of fuel. So instaed of tackling the corruption in the Subsidy Regime which will make the real subisdy needed come to the fore, a subsidy which bear no consequence for the nation because its small eneough; Jonathan does not want that becsaue that means no more money from that side. he rather carries on the charade and lies of how Nigeria need trillions of Naira to subsidize fuel, so that he can increase price of fuel. That way, him and his cronies can continue to enjoy awoof money and all complaints all over the world that Nigeria is spending to much money on subsidy can be silenced. Aferall, na the peopel they pay now, no be the purse of the goverment. What sort of human-being is this Jonathan? This man is an enemy of the people. Nigerians need not be confused about this issue. The man needs to be booted out. He only cares about his belly and that of his freinds. |
December 31, 2012 by Simon Utebor and Ade Adesomoju President Goodluck Jonathan | credits: File copy The ground appears to have been prepared for another New Year confrontation between President Goodluck Jonathan and civil rights activists with a stiff opposition by the latter to a suit asking Jonathan to remove totally the subsidy on fuel. A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Anambra State, Chief Stanley Okeke, has filed a suit in which he is asking a Federal High Court to compel the President to remove fuel subsidy. Okeke is also asking the court to compel Jonathan to return to the Federation Account “such money earlier appropriated and or approved for the payment of fuel subsidy.” The suit was filed on December 21. But the Save Nigeria Group said the suit was a grand plot to deceive Nigerians, while human rights activist and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mr. Femi Falana, vowed that civil society organisations would oppose Okeke and what the suit represents “vehemently”. An elder statesman, Dr. Tunji Braithwaite, also described the suit as a “dubious diversion.” Okeke, in the suit in which he listed the defendants as Jonathan; the Minister of Petroleum, Diezeni Allison-Madueke; and the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, said the subsidy fund was unjustifiable in the face of corruption in the system, perennial fuel shortage and long queues in the country. The only way to stop abuse of the fuel subsidy scheme is the removal of the policy by the Federal Government, according to the plaintiff in a 27-paragraph affidavit deposed in support of the suit. He is also asking the court for an order directing Okonjo-Iweala to stop further payment of fuel subsidy, submitting that the payments had been corrupt, illegal and unlawful. The PDP chief asked the court to determine the following questions: *Whether in view of the official corruption and abuse of office inherent in the fuel subsidy regime as evidenced by the in-going trial of certain individuals in the Federal High Court Lagos, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is validly competent to order the removal and or abolish the fuel subsidy scheme; *Whether consequent upon the perennial fuel shortages and the attendant long queues on our roads, it would be proper and lawful for the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to completely remove and abolish the fuel subsidy regime; *Whether having regards to the near infrastructural collapse in our country, it would be proper to re-channel funds meant fuel subsidy scheme into the building of infrastructural facilities, and; *Whether the 2nd and 3rd defendants being appointees of the President by not ensuring a corrupt free subsidy regime has not failed in their principal duty to Nigerians. No date has been fixed for the hearing of the case. Spokesman for the SNG, Yinka Odumakin, told The PUNCH on Sunday night that the suit was a gameplan to increase the prices of petroleum products in the New Year. Odumakin said, “This is a nation of organised grand deception. President Goodluck Jonathan said there would not be fuel subsidy removal. What is happening is an orchestrated plan to increase fuel price. “The action is like a case of the witch crying yesterday and the following day, the child is dead. Who will not know it is the witch that killed the baby?” He said the SNG’s last protest was not about subsidy removal but the corruption in the system. “The President should know that Nigerians are not idiots. We are waiting for them,” he said. Falana told one of our correspondents on the telephone that, “We are going to oppose the suit vehemently and totally. We and other civil society organisations will join the suit to oppose the plaintiff and the interests being represented. “The President has already declared in his Presidential chat that he was not going to remove subsidy on fuel. It is very clear that Nigerians are opposed to any further removal of subsidy on fuel. “Nigerians cannot be punished for the fraud and the criminality of smugglers that have characterised the fuel subsidy regime. “The cases being referred to by the plaintiff are still in court, nobody has been convicted so far.” Braithwaite said, “The fuel subsidy itself is a swindle on the national treasury, by which trillions of naira and billions of dollars are stolen by those in government and their accomplices who are easily identifiable by the hapless masses. “However, a lawsuit in the present corrupt environment of Nigeria is yet another dubious diversion to buy time for the cruel and oppressive governments in Nigeria.” Braithwaite said Nigerians had a responsibility to hold ‘King Corruption’ accountable in the people’s own court and to recover the loot. December 31, 2012 by Simon Utebor and Ade Adesomoju Another human rights activist, Jiti Ogunye, said the suit could be an “arrangee case” that would not be opposed by the President and other agents of the Federal Government. He said, “Is an order of mandamus, as a prerogative writ in administrative or constitutional law, or an order like that lies to compel the performance of a public duty? The answer is no. It is a policy issue that is not justiciable in court of law. “We hope that this is not an ‘arrangee case’ since the defendants – the President and other agents of the Federal Government – might not be willing to oppose the suit. “We also hope that the Nigerian Labour Congress and other civil society groups, who fought bitterly in January to oppose the removal of subsidy on fuel, are watching. We encourage them to join the suit as interested parties so that it will not be a cut-and-dry case between the plaintiff and the Federal Government.” SOURCE: http://www.punchng.com/news/court-asked-to-compel-jonathan-to-end-subsidy/ |

I think it important to note that Orisajafor, President of CAN was there and all he did was pay glowing tributes. The Catholic and Anglican Priests indeed give us hope. |

The remains of former National Security Adviser, late Andrew Azazi, who died in a helicopter crash, were buried on Saturday at the Ijaw Heroes Memorial Park, along Sani Abacha Expressway, Yenagoa in Bayelsa State. Among dignitaries at the commendation service included wife of the President; Patience Jonathan; Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; members of the National Assembly; service chiefs; former governor of Bayelsa State, Chief Alamieyeseigha; former governor of Cross Rivers State, Donald Duke; and his wife, Onari; among others. Although it was supposed to be a solemn funeral service for the departed soul, Bishop of Bomadi Catholic Vicariate, Archbishop Hyacinth Ogbebor, exercised his apostolic liberty and expressed his profound disappointment over poor governance and deplorable condition of infrastructure in Bayelsa State in particular and Nigeria in general. Ogbebor took a swipe at President Goodluck Jonathan and the Federal Government for their inability to fix the dilapidated East-West Road. He also bemoaned the developmental retrogression in Bayelsa, describing the situation as worrisome. He condemned the conduct of public officers whom, he noted, are deliberately impoverishing Nigerians through acts of corruption and lip-service to issues of development and campaign against corrupt practices in the country. Ogbebor, who was delivering a homily at the funeral service for the former Chief of Defence Staff, pointedly told the audience which included President Goodluck Jonathan to put the East-West Road in good shape and save hapless Nigerians from their untimely deaths resulting from pothole-ridden roads crisis-crossing the country. He said, “Mr. President, repair the East-West Road. Tankers fall on that road every day. Spare the lives of Nigerians. Work the road. The potholes should be covered. I almost got killed on the East-West Road because I shuttle between Bomadi (in Delta State) and Bayelsa.” He also admonished Dickson to translate his words on development into action because, according to him, the people of Bayelsa would not fly in the sky to get to their houses. Describing Azazi’s death as tragic and devastating, the clergyman said the frequent occurrence of air mishaps in Nigeria was frightening and unbecoming. “His death is tragic. It is a devastating blow to Bayelsa and Nigeria, more than the flood disaster.” Ogbebor, who is also a member of the state’s post-flood management committee headed by Azazi, noted that if the military is unable to protect its own, it will be difficult to believe that it can protect citizens. He lamented that, before now there was dedication and professionalism in service. “But now, compromise and money have taken over,” he stated. Ogbebor, however, said he was aware Jonathan was trying his best in the task of nation building and that the Church was praying for him and his administration to succeed. President Jonathan, while paying tribute to Azazi, reminded Archbishop Ogbebor that lack of attitudinal change was responsible for most of the problems plaguing the nation. Jonathan said the emphasis on corruption most of the time was also misplaced as some of the cases that are brought under the purview of corruption do not belong there, stressing that until Nigerians behave rightly and properly, the country cannot move forward the way it should move. He remarked that if 50 percent of Nigerians behave uprightly like Azazi, then the country would experience a change. Jonathan said: “If all of us or if only 50 percent of Nigerians, and I mean it, if 50 percent of Nigerians that have privileges to certain offices or by virtue of their own struggle, have gotten to some level in society like General Azazi, this country will change. “If we do things properly, if we change our attitudes as Nigerians, most of these issues we are blaming on corruption, we will know that it is not corruption” On his part, Governor Dickson expressed dismay over Archbishop Ogbebor’s remark, pointing out that he did not complain about developmental backwardness in Bayelsa in the five years that preceded his administration. While highlighting some of the contracts that his administration had awarded so far, Dickson cried that Azazi’s family, Bayelsa and Nigeria had lost a rare gem and icon, who was not only a father, but a loving husband, grandfather and an accomplished soldier. During the church service for the late General Azazi, his first daughter, Akpolade, read the first lesson at the funeral service while her younger brother, Pelede, read the second lesson and his first son, Owoye Azazi Jr, gave a tribute of their late father. Among those who paid glowing tributes to Azazi, besides Jonathan, Dickson and Pelede, were the President, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, and former Chief of Defence Staff, Lt. Gen Alexander Ogomudia. Others were: Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Azubuike Ihejirika; Petroleum Minister, Diezani Allison-Madueke; and Governor of Rivers State and Chairman, Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Chibuike Amaechi. Amaechi named a street under construction in Elekahia area of Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, after Azazi. Azazi’s remains were lowered into a concrete grave at the Ijaw Heroes Memorial Park at about 2:55pm after a parade by a military guard of honours. http://dailyindependentnig.com/2012/12/azazis-burial-jonathan-dickson-archbishop-trade-words/ |
Mahatma Ghandi: despite the fact i dont like GEJ, i feel it wont be fair to point fingers at GEJ and PDP excluding theYou are comparing Buhari with Tinubu? Is either you are daf.t or very dishonest. There is no basis for comparison. You say his hands are not clean. Why? Care to elaborate. |
People, I hope you know that one of the textbook method of propaganda is repeating and bulldozing the citizens with the same lies over and over and over again until the people begin to see it as truth. That is what's happening here, and that is why you'll know they are many hired hands on Nairaland and all over cyberspace and the media, whose job is to paint Buhari and the CPC party black. Its so obvious. Any thread which relates to Buhari, you see them rushing in as if they sleep and eat beside their laptops. They strive to confuse the people, so that cannot see honesty and integrity of Buhari. They are afraid of Nigerians discovering Buhari is incorruptible and that he is the one they need. All the evidence of Bokoharam points towards PDP and yet these people continue linking Buahri and his party with BOKOHARAM. Does it make any sense? Buhari as been in power before in this country as a MILITARY LEADER and Nigerian did not becomes Somalia. It is on record that he clamped down on fanatical muslim groups during his reign. Nigerians, these people, PDP and all the corrupt business and political elites are afraid of Buhari coming to Buhari because they know if that happens, most of them will prosecuted for looting, found guilty and sent to jail. They know thus, hence their apprehension. For them, a Buhari Presidency is a nightmare they don't want coming to reality. |
This guy definitely believes Nigerians are as gullible as little children and can fooled with the dangling lollipops. Is he wrong? Honestly I don't know. Nigerians are really truly foolish and stupid. Only 2015 will tell. |
OsunOriginal: How do you expect to achieve that with Igbos? Igbos are mischievous human beings and they seem to have it right in their DNA already coded. I have spent more than three years now studying the Igbos and taking this your approach of getting Igbos to see things from a patroitic perspective. But the more you do that, the more deviation you see as if what affects us doesnt affect them.Men, you really do have issues. That is all I'm going to say. |
OsunOriginal: Thank you brother... He is Igbo and can't change. Like I have been saying, lets isolate Igbos and put them where they belong. Please don't thank me. True we both agree on Buhari, but your deep tribalistic hatred of Igbos is sickening. And you are so open and proud about it, as if it is a a badge of honour. Tribalism is one of the major factor holding the country back from electing a good leader. We don't need to hate our Igbo brothers. We try to educate them. Perhaps they may see the light. We can't get Buhari elected by spreading hatred. |
dohiswill: I guess u dont know this devilish man, a man that is in support and is genuinely happy that muslims are killing christians, a man that cause post election violence that clam hundreds of life majorly southern and never condem it. A man full of hatred for Christian and southern.Shut up your mouth, you bloody propangandist. You just keep on spewing the same rubbish no matter the amount of glaring evidence that shows the exact opposite. You are your fellow hired hands and wicked and devilish ones, for wanting Nigerians to remain in perpetual slavery in the hands of the corrupt elite. You hope to psychologically bully the people into a wrong opinion by the sheer volume or your propaganda. Infact the sheer amount of opposition and monies and resources been spent on propaganda against Buhari should tell any right thinking person that he is the man for the job. Just imagine these people, they paint Buhari as a Devil; and the same people will painting. GEJ as a hero. GEJ, a man who is about to lay a record as the most corrupt President and Administration Nigeria ever has. GEJ does not love Nigerians and has no respect for them. He his a slow poison. GEJ is like wife-beater who keeps on proffesing undying love for the wife; meanwhile he his literally killing her little by little every day. |
otele: If he runs again, he will LOOSE AGAINIf Buhari is so evil and bad for Nigeria, then why should you even support anyone he endorses? You see how your falsehood is showing through now? You sha at all cost don't want Buhari to run. You want someone else who you are sure does not have the political clout to win to contest with GEJ. As long as its not Buhari, there is no threat. But once its Buhari, you people become engulfed in so much worry and concern. You guys and your boss Jonathan and his obscenely corrupt associates are so much afraid of Buhari becoming President. Its your worst nightmare. I don't blame you and your masters. Buhari's name precedes him. Of a truth I tell you, Buhari is such a man, if he is elected President, even before he is sworn in, you will see corrupt personalities fleeing the country in great haste. That is the kind of man Buhari is. Even before he speaks or take any action, corrupt people are already picking race. What do you think will now happen when he begins to take action? I'm sure you can use your imagination. People, Nigerian youths, Nairalanders, please don't be deceived by the cheap lies and propaganda of GEJ and PDP hired hands all over the media and cyber-space. Buhari is the man that can put Nigeria on the path to its Great Destiny. After he has done this difficult task, the road will be clear for others (progressive elements) like Pat Utomi, Nuhu Ribadu etc to take over. Nigeria needs a strong and incorruptible man like Buhari to clear the road. We need strong institutions, and strong institutions don't spring forth on their own. Strong men create strong institutions. NIgerian, let's give Buhari a chance. The only thing you have to loose is your the chains of slavery around your necks. I'm Yoruba and I'm Christian; of a truth I tell you, I have found more integrity in the man Buhari than the whole of CAN leadership combined. Sir, please run for 2015 elections. Don't be discouraged. Nigerians needs your help. |
AY apologies. Are anything but apologies, because the apologies are usually more offensive than the initial offence. The long apology letter he wrote to the duo of D1 and Kenny is good case-point. It would have been better if he just shut and said nothing. It was the worst apology that I've seen before. An apology that adds insults upon injury. |
The truth and nothing but the whole truth. Guys, you know what: Jonathan is so corrupt, Adeboye ought to be ashamed of being seen with him. Seriously, the guy is the worst nightmare of any nation. |
So so many things to say and so many idiotic posts of the laptop crew like Pont B taraqua, Billionyre, sincereNigerian to answer, but in the end there is no point because they will simply continue repeating the same thing no matter of evidence of facts you combat them with. This/these guys are paid mercenaries. All I will just say is this, Nigerians, if you real change; real revolutionary change and not cosmetic ones, vote BUHARI. If you wish to continue suffering, continue voting for Jonathan or Tinubu or his anointed godson Fashola and their likes....... |
Because you give respect and honour to your G.O or Men of God does not mean you can't criticise them in some aspects. The two need not be mutually exclusive. The statements of the said Pastor (let's forget whether he is embittered or not) raises salient points which has been apparent for a long time now. Prominent Men of God whom God has chosen to raise above their peers are failing woefully in one of their primary duties: which is to speak against evil in the land; to speak up against injustice and tyranny; to tell the leaders that unless they change and live by justice and truth and stop visiting untold miseries upon the masses whose interest they have sworn to uphold, they cannot escape God's judgement. They are suppose to tell the politicians stop embezzling the people's money, that naked they come to the world, naked they will go. If the Headship of Redeemed Church has been saying these things, of a truth I tell you, Jonathan would not have come to the Redeem Camp. In fact all the politicians, governor's and their wives will stop visiting the Camp because they hate hearing this things. They hate hearing the truth. Do you think Ibori would have woke up on his bed and decides he wants to spend that Sunday morning with Tunde Bakare at his Latter Rain Church. Of a truth I tell you, he will not. Even if his aide suggests it to him, he will lash that aid with his tongue and accuse the head of now working with his enemies. Why do all these very wicked evil leaders feel so comfortable and happy fraternizing at the Redeem Camp? What do we now see? We see the prominent Men of God, CAN leadership, all socialising, fraternizing, winning and dinning with these obscenely corrupt politicians. For people who will no doubt rush to the thread in defence of their esteemed Daddies, plleae go and read throughout the Old Testament: there are many prophets in Israel, but God was always sending the prominent ones whom in His wisdom He has raised above their peers so that their voice can be heard, to the Kings and leaders, to warn them to desist from their wickedness. God hates wickedness and injustice of leaders upon the people they are supposed to protect with a passion. Why can't prominent men of God like Adeboye, Oyedepon Orisajafor, Mike Okonkwo, open their mouths and say these things. Is it so difficult for them to open their mouths or is something holding it? Rememeber the Anglican Reverend who was called to give the message at a church in Abuja in which the President and so many other top government officials were present. He opened his mouth and told them the truth. When he was praying, did Jonathan or any of his officials say amen to his prayers? They did not. Do you think that man will ever be given any further invitation to any event again, or ever be able to get an audience with the President or even any Minister? No he will not. It is absolutely true, that christians in Naija now worship Men of God and not God. That is why matured Christians cannot even discern when their Daddies are doing something that is clearly wrong. Indeed, Men of God have now become God of Men, because Nigerians have made them so. |
