GEJ went for competence and FIRST ELEVEN in selecting his ministers and heads of departments. These are the people that do the REAL work that affect you and I. The next presidential election will be interesting. As for me i dont care about the etnicity or party affiliation of whom am voting. Give me any good candidate from any part of Nigeria and I will vote for him. In the East I can only vote for any of the following cndidates: Chime, Rochas, NOI or Soluda depending on who is contesting. From the West Fashola will get my vote anyday bc he is a visionary leader, and from the north we need someone like the former EFCC boss, the North should not go to old bastardss, that EFCC boss commands so much respect within and outside Nigeria. He will beat Buhari hands down in any election.

Sincere 9gerian: Dont mind the fools. They were part of the 12million people that voted for Buhari in 2011 elections. That election has since been won and lost but the defeated have refused to get over it. Part of the frustration of the defeated is manifested in the boko haram onslaught and cyber space attacks and curses on the president. Just ask these fools one single thing they expect from the president, they'll begin to CONVULSE. Just imagine this year alone, the federal govt will be spending close to N1trillion on fuel subsidy alone, despite every effort to clean up the payment system. Can any country make progress with such MADNESS, whereby over 25% of national budget is being spent on subsidizing consumption of gasoline? Compare N1trillion budget for fuel side by side with about N100billion for roads and N400billion for education. If this is not MADNESS then tell me what it is. The president saw this madness and wanted to remove the fuel subsidy so we can switch this resources to other important things BUT politics and ethnoreligious sentiments overtook people in the north and southwest. The opposition parties and hausas who felt GEJ took their turn grabbed the opportunity with both hands and frustrated the planned removal of fuel subsidy. Imagine what N1trillion can do on our roads, rail, job creation,education, health care,etc at the federal and state level. But alas STUPIDITY took the better part of them. The same bandits that wanted fuel subsidy, which they said is the ONLY thing they benefit from govt, now criticise govt for not doing OTHER things and not doing enough. What about your state governors? What do they do with 50% of the resources for the various states?

Did I hear some deluded dudes say they don't have the clout and status? What's the meaning of that? Does Buhari have one? If he does, why does he keep loosing elections both in the south and his north?

No need to go into all the petty details of his partial stewardship as PTDF chairman. Though favoritism of projjects in the north over the south was overwhelming, I still think its minute compared to NOT CAMPAIGNING IN ANY OF THE S/SOUTHERN/EASTERN STATEs. It shows that Buhari has an absolute hatred and total disregard for the people.

With this same approach come 2015, he's bound for yet another round of FAilure.....even if he's to run against OBJ.

I am not against Buhari. You can't write off Ribadu also concerning clout and status. As the Commander in chief, Ribadu will have enough force behind him to cause a lot of Change in the sector of Corruption. We can't deny it.

The presidency of Nigeria has the power to get rid of corruption. We just need the right person there. I still don't think going back to bring a past leader. We should be progressive and not regressive.

If you run a poll in Nigeria, you will find out that a lot of people are not satisfied with GEJ'S administration. So don't make this a vote Buhari or GEJ. For instance, I will support Ribadu because he is the one person I have seen try to fight corruption in this country. From the investigation of Abacha's stolen funds till his attack on corrupt Governors.

What some of us are saying is electing a past leader might not be the best option. We should be looking into other people. Not that we must vote GEJ.

Some listed Pat Utomi, Fashola (whom you didn't provide any fact of being corrupt. Bola Tinubu isn't convicted of corruption), Adams Oshiomhole has been exceptional since taken power, Rochas Okorocha, etc.

Any where there's FREE MONEY TO BE SHARED, one must be more than an ANGEL not to fall for the temptation of being corrupt. Even if the person at the top is not looting too much, those under him will be looting. Forget the SUPER STORY of people who claim they'll fight corruption to a standstill. If the FREE OIL MONEY CEASES TO FLOW TODAY, corruption in Nig will reduce by over 90% automatically. You dont need an anti-corruption czar to stop corruption in Nig. Alternatively, we can re-structure the country and give states full control of their resources. This will move the pot of corruption to the states and reduce corruption and tension at the federal level. Will Buhari stop re-structuring? I guess no!
