Its simple mathematics, the price of food, energy and rent has moved up 300% since the removal of subsidy (PMS from N195 - N900 per liter) and FX unification (From N450 -$1 / N750-$1 Black Market to N1,500) as such the minimum wage of 200% (from N35,000 to N70,000) increase will never be sufficient.

By the way, net foreign reserves refers to the reserves that the central bank actually has access to. The gross figure contains the one that is encumbered. The net foreign reserves are unencumbered.
